Abstract

Performance is the result of work and work behavior that has been achieved in completing the assigned tasks and responsibilities within a certain period. The purposes of this study are: 1) To find out the description of office layout at the Barombong District Office, 2) To find out how the performance of employees at the Barombong District Office, 3) To find out whether there is an influence of office layout on employee performance at the Barombong District Office. Data collection used primary data obtained from employees of the Barombong sub-district office who were then used as respondents using a saturated sample where all members of the population were used as samples from the results of primary data collected through distributing questionnaires. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that partially good office layout had a positive and significant effect on employee performance so that the proposed hypothesis was accepted. This study has a strong influence between the two variables compared to previous studies which only had a moderate effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between leader member exchange (LMX) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), leader member exchange (LMX) on performance, organizational commitment on performance and OCB on performance. This study used a quantitative method and the respondents to this study were 370 SMEs owners in Jabotabek who were selected using a simple random sampling method. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online through social media. The questionnaire was designed using a Likert scale from 1 to 7. Data analysis used a structural equation model (SEM) with the data processing tool SmartPLS 3.0 software. The stages of testing the data are validity, reliability and hypothesis testing. The independent and dependent variables in this study are LMX, OCB, Organizational Commitment and performance. The results of this study indicate that leader member exchange (LMX) has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), Leader member exchange (LMX) has a positive and significant effect on performance, Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance, OCB has a positive and significant effect on performance.

Abstract

The slum area in the city of Makassar is in the heavy slum category, namely 288.85 Ha which is divided into 36 sub-districts out of 127 sub-districts in the city of Makassar. This research was conducted aiming to find out how the Implementation of the City Without Slums Program in Makassar City. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a focus on implementation theory by G. Shabbir Cheema and Dennis A. Rondinelli (1983). Sources of research data used secondary data and primary data with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques used were data collection, data condensation, data presentation and variation/conclusion. The research results are Of the four variable parameters for implementation success, three variables were good and one variable was considered not well implemented, ie 1. The condition of the environment is not good, from a physical perspective, there have been achievements in reducing slum areas in several sub-districts such as Makassar, Ujung Pandang and Pannampu. However, there have been no socio-cultural changes in the community in the slums in Macassar. 2. Relations between organizations are going well, in this case the actors involved are trying to strengthen institutions through communication and coordination channels carried out between stakeholders involved from the government, and the community and industry in innovating the area program without slums. 3. Organizational resources are running well because they are supported by qualified human resources with the expertise and knowledge to create programs for coaching and socialization of healthy living and environmentally friendly programs. Financial resources have also been utilized as well as possible in accordance with the urgency and needs of the sub-district. 4. The Characteristics and Skills of the Executing Agent are going well, in this case the executors in this case the BKM and the community involved in the work are trained both administratively, financially and technically for implementation in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profitability of Islamic banking companies before and after the merger, which is measured using financial ratios. The population used is all financial statements of companies in the Islamic banking sector that have merged and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2 years. The research sample was taken using the non-probability sampling method used is saturated sampling, namely in particular the financial reports of BRI Syariah (BRIS), BNI Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) for the quarterly period of 2020 as well as the financial reports of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) quarterly period in 2021. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques. Data were analyzed by summarizing financial statements, by calculating profitability ratios using Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE), and comparing ratio calculations from the year before and after the merger, as well as analyzing and interpreting calculation of the three ratios. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average BOPO ratio of Bank BRI Syariah (BRIS), Bank BNI Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) before the merger was 80.17%. Meanwhile, in the 2021 period, the average BOPO ratio for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) after the merger is 79.29%. The average ROA ratio for Bank BRI Syariah (BRIS), Bank BNI Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) before the merger was 1.34%. Meanwhile, in the 2021 period, the average ROA ratio for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) after the merger is 1.63%. The average ROE value of Bank BRI Syariah (BRIS), Bank BNI Syariah (BNIS) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) before the merger was 10.17%. Meanwhile, in the 2021 period, the average ROE ratio for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) after the merger is 12.62%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description and influence of the use of social media and product innovation either partially or simultaneously on the development of micro-enterprises in the trade sector in Luwu Regency. The population of this research is the micro business actors in the trading sector in Luwu Regency. Determination The sample used is the sample formulated by Slovin with an error rate of ten percent, the number of samples obtained is as many as one hundred respondents, with data collection techniques namely questionnaires that are tested for validity and reliability. The data obtained were processed using data analysis and the help of SPSS version twenty five which consisted of classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and determinant coefficient. The results showed that the use of social media in the very good category, product innovation in the good category, and business development in the very good category. The results of the reference analysis show that there is a significant influence between the use of social media and product innovation on the development of micro enterprises in the trade sector in Luwu Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential and analyze the competitiveness of maritime tourism in the Selayar Islands Regency using the SWOT analysis method, as well as to find out the optimal strategy for increasing the competitiveness of marine tourism in the Selayar Islands Regency. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used consists of condensing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the SWOT analysis model increased the competitiveness of marine tourism, namely having strength in the form of high social cohesion; good service standards; the natural wealth and diversity of marine biota in the Selayar Islands Regency. The strategy of the Selayar Islands Regency Tourism and Culture Office in increasing the competitiveness of marine tourism is the development of the tourist market; tourism product development; development through increasing human resources; developing quality and sustainable marine tourism networks and partnerships; increasing the quality and diversity of business products and tourism services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the Ombudsman Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Sulawesi in improving the Makassar City Government's compliance with public service standards. This is based on the Makassar City Government's compliance assessment which continues to be in the Yellow Zone. Qualitative research methods were chosen to facilitate the presentation of research results. Research data were obtained from interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that the main strength of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Sulawesi is having the political will of the organizers of public and community services, and the weakness of the human resources is only 17 people is not proportional to the breadth and magnitude of the supervisory task that must be carried out.

Abstract

This study discusses collaboration and community participation in tourism development in Malino Village, Gowa Regency. Malino Village has the best tourism destinations in South Sulawesi, and its management involves several parties. However, the involvement of these parties has not been well established in the cooperative relationship. Community involvement in tourism management is also considered to be still lacking. To realize tourism development in Malino Village requires collaboration between every party involved and community involvement. The data that is the study material in this study was obtained from the results of interviews, observations, and literature studies. Existing data were analyzed using Interactive Model Analysis. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the Gowa Regency Government does not have a collaborative foundation in tourism development. The cooperative relationship that exists is not based on the goal of overcoming tourism problems in Malino Village. Cooperation is carried out based on the interests of each. Community support in the development of tourism is realized by managing and maintaining the facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of tourism prepared by the government. In order for the development of tourism in Malino village to be implemented properly, the Gowa Regency government should carry out collaboration in the form of business clusters.

Abstract

The implementation of the Strengthening Character Education program cannot be separated from the role of all parties in the school. This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach. With as many as seven subjects, namely the Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, 2 teachers, and 3 students of the Campalagian State Vocational School. Data collection techniques using observation methods, interview methods, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction techniques, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The results showed that the Implementation of Strengthening Character Education at UPT SMK Negeri Campalagian, seen from the results of data analysis, was included in the effective category. This can be seen from the fulfillment of the three indicators, namely the cultivation of strengthening integrated character education in subjects, the existence of extracurricular activities with the aim of forming the character of students, and habituation activities through school culture. In this study, the Campalagian State Vocational School teachers need to be creative in arranging learning and activities at school while still considering character education during the Covid-19 period. Character education during the pandemic will provide a pattern of living with character anywhere and under any conditions.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyse the effect of fraud diamond components on the occurrence of fraudulent financial statements. The components of fraud diamond which include financial stability, external pressure, personal financial need, financial target, nature of industry, ineffective monitoring, auditor change, audit opinion and directior change were independent variables that were suspected to affect the fraudulent financial statement in the company. Population in this research was all financial statements of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange which have been audited and published. Samples were financial statements of food and beverage companies period 2012-2016 taken through purposive sampling as many as ten companies. Data analysis techniques used were classical assumption test, hypothesis test (Test R2, Test F and Test T) and multiple linear regression analysis test. The results of this research indicated that personal financial need variables measured by the ratio of stock composition owned by the company (OSHIP) affect the occurrence of fraudulent financial statement. While the financial stability, external pressure, financial target, nature of industry, ineffective monitoring, auditor change, audit opinion and director change have no effect on the occurrence of fraudulent financial statement.
