Abstract

Research carried out around Bandung took the title of improving the quality of teaching and learning in SDN Sukajadi with the implementation of cooperative learning techniques Numbered Head Structure in even semester of the school year, 2014/2015. with the problems that will look for solutions to solve in this study is: How can the application of Cooperative Learning Techniques Numbered Head structure to improve the quality of teaching and to learn in SDN Sukajadi even semester of 2014/2015. And through the application of Cooperative Learning Techniques Numbered Head structure can improve the quality of teaching and learning in SDN Sukajadi even semester of 2014/2015 ?.The objectives to be achieved in this research is to determine the extent of the application of cooperative learning techniques Numbered Head structure to improve the quality of teaching and learning in SDN Sukajadi even semester of 2014/2015. The fact proves that the Cooperative Learning Techniques Numbered Head structure can enhance the professional skills of teachers because the Cooperative Learning Techniques Numbered Head structure is able to clarify the duties of teachers in implementing the learning process that will always develop teachers in performing their professional tasks.

Abstract

The role of the principal is important for directing school life to achieve school goals. The principal appointment is attained through formal and rational consideration, determined by procedures, requirements, and regulations. This study is concerned with the development of performance appraisal model of junior high school principals and is aimed to achieve the following aims: 1) to detect rules and system regarding principals performance appraisal; 2) to verify and describe components, process and measures results of principals appraisal, and 3) to analyse Performance Based required by principals; and 4) to generate hypothetical models of principal performance appraisals in junior high school level. In order to have principals with all standard criteria, efforts to improve principal professional capacities are needed to conduct in a well-planned manner through continuous quality improvement. These improvements are mapped out intermittently so that principals profiles based on measures results of Principals Performance Appraisal can be put into actual. Performance appraisal is designed to identify data on principals performance.

Abstract

Salah satu keberhasilan sekolah dalam meraih predikat Program Adiwiyata adalah kebiasaan warga sekolah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kebiasaan ini mencerminkan apakah mereka berpola ramah lingkungan atau tidak. Adiwiyata  merupakan program yang membentuk segenap warga sekolah menjadi karakter yang peduli terhadap lingkungan hidup. Menciptakan sekolah yang bersih, sehat, indah dan memiliki etika dan estetika. Dengan berbekal pengetahuan dan kebiasaan siswa tentang kesadaran dan pola hidup ramah lingkungan, maka merupakan dasar bagi SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang untuk dapat meraih gelar Adiwiyata. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah tentang apakah program yang dicanangkan sekolah untuk meraih gelar Adiwiyata dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengubah kebiasaan siswa dalam penghematan energy. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif, dimana responden diberikan angket, wawancara dan pengamatan. Bahwa bagaimanapun peranan warga sekolah sangat penting dalam mewujudkan keberhasilan sekolah guna meraih gelar Adiwiyata. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan kegiatan pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang dapat membentuk siswa menjadi generasi yang dapat berperan menjadi bagian warga yang berpola pikir ramah lingkungan. Kata Kunci:

Abstract

The purpose of education in Indonesia from time to time always includes the character or moral values in the students. This is no exception also in the latest curriculum changes, better known as Kurtilas. Changes in the educational curriculum agendas that regularly take place in order to improve the quality of education in Indonesia with the main theme of building a nation's character. Of course this should be implemented in a more operational level, ie in learning activities. Of the many learning materials, learning rhymes turns deviate huge potential in an effort to build character or good values, with values or moral message contained in rhyme.

Abstract

Change people's behavior in Garut is expected to be able to change for the better in terms of aware of the obligation to pay the levy, it is also determined by the role of a performance extension of the district registry office. As found in this study suggest that policy implementation Implementation of Administration of Population and Civil Registration Service Retribution effect real and positive impact on Performance and Behavior Counseling Civil Registration Citizens using the Civil Registry Service. The implications of the findings in this study are the phenomenon of obstruction of efforts to deliver information program of birth certificates to the public, resulting in low levels of participation and public confidence in the civil registration services. This condition will affect the low orderly population administration in the community.

Abstract

This study aimed fatherly improve the quality of guidance and counseling program at the high school level with a focus issue focused on improving Tutoring Service Orientation Learning can be overcome anxiety students choose majors in high school and what efforts can be done counselor in helping students for placement and majors.The study design is described in a spiral of action research based on the adaptation of Hopkins with two cycles and each cycle of four phases of activity. Based on research data processing is found that the implementation of the guidance service learning orientation can overcome the anxiety level of students in the selection of majors in high school. This is evidenced by the level of student anxiety before any action guidance to the class X.3 in SMA Negeri 1 Bojongmangu amounted to 76.32%. After the action guidance of experienced reductions of students who experience anxiety. It was assest with the percentage decrease from the first cycle, up to the second cycle of 34.21%. Activity in the study orientation guidance services provides guidance information in groups major classical and small discussion groups. The results of this study are useful to enhance the role of coaching and guidance counselor in helping students with guidance and program implementation counselingg in SMAN 1 Bekasi regency, in particular, Bojongmangu.

Abstract

Pedagogical discourse in Indonesia is inseparable from the development of the nation's history. Throughout the nation's history, pedagogical discourse in Indonesia remains stagnant as the object of its study is continued to reside on the practical level of education. Academicians, policy makers, observers, and practitioners of education still do not care about foundational and structural objects of the study that contribute to the sturdiness of the scientific foundation and the education system. This paper aims to analytically describe the problem of the ontology of the science education, which focuses on aspects of the scope and boundaries of the research paper. Therefore, this paper is expected to stimulate research and development of science and praxis of education.

Abstract

This study was intended to uncover the challenges faced by parents in developing the social competence of their children with visual impairment who live in the community of sighted children, the results of which are expected to be used as the basis for developing a guidance and counseling program to help them to meet the challenges. The study was carried out using the qualitative approach with the case study strategy; the in-depth interview was used to collect the data, and the Social Attribute Checklist adapted from McClellan Katz (2001) was used to portray the social competence profile of the children. The results of the study indicated that children whose parents were active in exposing them to their social environment and encouraged and supported them to enter a sighted peer group, had a high interest in interacting with their peers, were well accepted by the peer group, and were successful in developing friendship with sighted peers, and, in its turn, these children were also successful in showing a good social competence.

Abstract

This study was based-backs SCTV findings regarding the phenomenal figure of Mrs. Een Sukaesih as inspirational women in the learning of the children and the community built around that by SCTV was awarded the Special Awards category of education, dedication to the community and humanity. With the assistance of assistance by the department (laboratory) facilities design by PLS embodies the children's learning and community development are packed with smart home albarokah name, and has five program activity centers. The formulation of the research problem: (1) whether the exploration results in Rumpin Albarokah there is a vision, mission, goals, objectives and programs and their conformity with the realization? (2) whether the results of the analysis are Rumpin Albarokah delegation, leadership and familiarization program implementation strategy? (3) How do find / labsite PLS models prove effective in enhancing the competence of students on community empowerment through Andragogy approach? Qualitative research approach with data collection techniques interview, observation and document and using processing techniques and data analysis with data reduction, data display and verification. This study places in Rumpin Albarokah Sumedang, West Java.
