Abstract

The background from this research because in the era of the business and industrial world today need human resources who competent and qualified. Today, many agencies are developing courses in Indonesia, one of the LKP IKMA Majalaya located in the district of Majalaya. IKMA is organizing various programs of courses, such as computer courses, accounting courses, and tutoring. IKMA also organizes community entrepreneurship program in cooperation with the government to reduce unemployment in the region of Majalaya. The program in the form of computer graphic design courses. This research aims to 1) describe the management learning courses in fostering entrepreneurship skills of graduates; 2) describe the entrepreneurship skills of graduates after the course; 3) know the supporting factor and inhibiting factor in fostering entrepreneurship skills of graduates. The method used is a descriptive method with qualitative approaches and techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. Subjects numbered four people consisting of one manager, one instructor and two graduates. Based on the processing of data and research results, obtained the following results. The First, activities of manager in management course learning to foster entrepreneurship skills of graduates include partnership building, provision of infrastructure and capital assistance for the graduate. The Second, emergence of entrepreneurship skills of graduates are characterized by traits entrepreneurs, namely confidence, task-oriented and results, risk-taking, leadership, originality and oriented to the future. Third, supporting factors consist of adequate infrastructure, and LKP has strategic locations. Furthermore, inhibiting factor consists of a shortage of human resources, especially instructors and prone to flooding.

Abstract

Animo three-UPI SPs Studies Program in the last two years tops the list, which amounts to 210 to 230 applicants for a course of English language education, physical education and basic education. The number of open interest pendas, whether perceptions about pendas value-oriented labor market scientifics and practical benefits? Does science have the formula pendas slices (formal object) by itself and does not duplicate the study program in the same direction? Is basic education is still conceived within the paradigm of primary education/elementary school, compulsory education, general education, and education for all? To answer these questions, the data collected with the Delphi technique of respondent students, alumni, users, structural and experts. If not, then there will be a basic education in the surface. Implications on the basic education curriculum prepared based on principles and human needs Indonesia. Such as: to understand him well; Another man with good understanding; understand the relationship with the creator; and understand nature well. Basic education or education for all or compulsory education, thesame meaning is to be good a citizenship, becoming good citizens.Keywords: basic education, primary education/elementary school, compulsory education, generaleducation, education for all.

Abstract

PLS (pendidikan luar sekolah) adalah modus pendidikan kreatifitas, yaitu usaha pendidikan yang kesengajaan/berlangsungannya di dasarkan  pilihan keinginan/kebutuhan dan kesungguh-sungguhan belajar peserta didik dari masyarakat tertentu, sehingga penyelenggaraan PLS berbeda dengan sekolah terutama menyangkut sistem pengelolaan materi/isi, media dan waktunya yang acapkali disesuaikan dengan kesempatan peserta didiknya.Ternyata kiprah PLS meliputi kelembagaan, program aksi dan ketenagaan, yang stake-holdernya tersebar, yaitu berada di masyarakat, praktisi, ahli dan pemerintahan, sehingga kondisi PLS bak seluas samudra dan seolah kompleksitas suatu spektrum. Namun, PLS yang sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat,  dalam  optimalisasi pelaksanaannya masih jauh dari harapan. Saat ini jumlah dan kualitas ketenagaan PLS masih belum standar dan yang menjadi penyuplai akademisnya (kelembagaan, program dan ketenagaan) pun hanya setingkat jurusan dan program studi. Kebutuhan nyata masyarakat mestinya mendorong peningkatan lembaga akademis PLS setidanya setingkat fakultas.Oleh karena itu, PLS perlu mengubah prioritas kegiatan, yang saat ini PLS  berorientasi program harus diubah menjadi berorientasi penataan kelembagaan, seperti pembagian kerja antar stakeholder di pusat pemerintahan hingga daerah, peningkatan kemampuan organisasi, menata jaringan kerja, kemampuan layanan, spesifikasi disiplin ilmu, profesionalisasi ketenagaan dan kejelasan lokasi lapangan prakteknya.

Abstract

Program Field (PPL) as a program that instills applicative capabilities integrated with the entire previous learning experiences into the training program of the performance of all matters relating to the working positions, both teaching and learning activities as well as other tasks. However, the observation while not showing state competence and professional working systematic order. The question is: (1) What is the general profile of each institution used PLS partners PPL? (2) Which PLS PPL partner institutions that have a high tendency PPL effective implementation? (3) What is the level of effectiveness of the PPL student at a partner institution PLS department? This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the PPL student placement based on PLS department partner institutions. Performed using a quantitative approach with data collection questionnaire scale. The results showed the effectiveness of the PPL student placement based on PLS department partner agencies needs to be improved and suggested further implementation of PPL housed at partner institutions whose programs CLC complete or appropriate placement rolling competence PPL expectations.

Abstract

This study was based-backs SCTV findings regarding the phenomenal figure of Mrs. Een Sukaesih as inspirational women in the learning of the children and the community built around that by SCTV was awarded the Special Awards category of education, dedication to the community and humanity. With the assistance of assistance by the department (laboratory) facilities design by PLS embodies the children's learning and community development are packed with smart home albarokah name, and has five program activity centers. The formulation of the research problem: (1) whether the exploration results in Rumpin Albarokah there is a vision, mission, goals, objectives and programs and their conformity with the realization? (2) whether the results of the analysis are Rumpin Albarokah delegation, leadership and familiarization program implementation strategy? (3) How do find / labsite PLS models prove effective in enhancing the competence of students on community empowerment through Andragogy approach? Qualitative research approach with data collection techniques interview, observation and document and using processing techniques and data analysis with data reduction, data display and verification. This study places in Rumpin Albarokah Sumedang, West Java. The results show Rumpin are: (1) tools for community empowerment that embodies the activity of children, youth, and elderly women, (2) facilitate learning and empowerment, (3) prove the model lab site PLS is effective in enhancing the competence of students on community empowerment through approach Andragogy ,

Abstract

Culture shock is very much related to the situation where someone living in a new environment experiences worries and uncertainties of excessive feelings and thoughts. In the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA), the presence of culture shock is very apparent among students. This condition is not only motivated by the status of UNSIKA as a State University in Karawang area but also because the position of Karawang City is located on the border of the Capital City, in which it is the center of Metropolitan life. Thus, this situation may affect the social conditions of the community which is later formed a culture shock. There are a big number of students who come to study at UNSIKA from various regions, including outside Java Island. This condition makes culture shock experienced by students at UNSIKA at varying stages.

Abstract

Competency become an absolute need for the challenge in the future will be increasingly so severe mainly due to the increasing intensity of competition that services/products that are increasingly complex and risky must be to provided. Competition is no longer local, but regional, and even, international. So, quality must be improved to face work competition. This study is aimed to examine the relationship between the qualifications of non-formal education program with the competence of the graduate as a human resources and the formulation of relation between academic performance and competence/ job performance  and the difficulties faced  by the graduate users  in describing the profession of the graduates of non-formal education. This study is conducted by using a survey research approach to the object of research by using data collection techniques consist of interviews using a questionnaire. From the result of the research, we can see that there is a relationship between the qualification of non-formal education program and the competence of the graduate as human resources and recommendations for the quality development of non-formal education program in the coming years.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the various empowerment strategies implemented in each community empowerment institution. Heterogeneous environmental conditions became a consideration in implementing empowerment strategies to the community. The empowerment strategy became the main capital to attract the attention of the community to take the empowerment program seriously. The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation of the empowerment strategies used at this institution. This research was conducted to analyze the social compass was applied. The research method used is qualitative using a case study approach. Data were collected through observation and interview technique. The informants consisted of three training program managers and three training participants. Data obtained then analyzed by procedures of data collecting, data reducing, data display, and conclusion. Result of this research indicated that applied social compass were resources, technology, knowledge, values, goals and felt needs, norms, positions and roles, power leadership and influence, sanctions, and space relations. The impact of this social compass strategy was changing in the social-economic structure of the community. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the applied social compass could create an independent community in looking for family livelihood and prosperity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar Kelompok Belajar Usaha (KBU) yang pada umumnya belum menunjukkan pemberdayaan dan kemandirian warga belajarnya. Lulusannya belum mampu mengembangkan sendiri cara-cara belajar, bekerja dan berusaha. Hal ini disebabkan oleh konsep KBU tidak menggunakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada warga belajar (student centered). Bagaimanakah model konsepsional KBU yang patut direkomendasikan di masa mendatang? Deangan KBU yang menggunakan konsep belajar berpusat pada warga belajar, kurikulum dan proses pembelajarannya secara niscaya (significant) menumbuhkan budaya dalam belajar, bekerja dan berusaha, sehingga warga belajarnya secara bertahap menuju ke arah kemandirian. Kata kunci : KBU, proses pembelajaran, kemandirian, kreativitas, pemberdayaan dan kebutuhan.
