Abstract

Dumai-Malacca international Ro-Ro port connection is a strategic plan of Indonesian government to increase the national logistics distribution mode, especially in Southeast Asia regional trading activities. PT. Pelindo I, as an SOE port operator, is the candidate who will get a delegation for the implementation of this strategic program for providing port facilities to meet the needs of international crossings. This study aims to assess and optimize the internal financial aspects of PT Pelindo I as the result of the project implementation. As the company with a capital intensive character, corporate action must be able to provide good returns and benefit with clearly mitigated risks. Results show port should provide at least on moderate threshold level of occupancy. The less occupied operation will lead to financial problem along the service life. Thus, the least reliable scenario used is scenario 2 with realistic occupation level of 61%, IDR-USD currency rate of IDR.14600, and inflation rate of 3.97%, along with the recommendation for implementing subscription register method between ports and customer. The ROA and ROE result 0,83% and 0,89% respectively, and will remain positive along with revenue generation. These are considered to be effective in producing good financial performance and guarantee long-term business sustainability, while it can also optimize the absorption of service use by commodity based industries that the product will be distributed in the Southeast Asia region.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model pada klaster industri hilir kelapa di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dengan pendekatan sistem sehingga terbentuknya strukturisasi elemen sistem pengembangan klaster industri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap. Tahap kesatu melakukan analisis potensi komoditas kelapa di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman dengan metode location quotient (LQ), Tahap kedua melakukan identifikasi melalui studi literatur dan wawancara dengan pakar berdasarkan indikator pada model diamond porter untuk mengetahui apakah komoditi kelapa punya potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi sebuah klaster industri. Tahap ketiga menentukan jenis industri yang dapat dikembangkan dalam klaster industri hilir kelapa dengan menggunakan metode perbandingan eksponensial (MPE). Tahap keempat mengidentifikasi stakeholder yang terlibat dan bagaimana perannya di dalam klaster industri hilir kelapa dengan metoda deskriptif kualitatif.  Tahap kelima mendesain peta kluster industri hilir kelapa berdasarkan model diamond porter dengan menggunakan setiap elemen yang telah didefinisikan sebelumnya. hasil penelitian didapat nilai LQ sebesar 12,5 yang menyatakan bahwa klaster industri hilir kelapa berpotensi dikembangkan di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Berdasarkan perhitungan MPE terdapat 8 produk prioritas yaitu: virgin coconut oil, coco fiber, arang briket, coco peat, coco vinegar, desiccated coconut, kerajinan lidi dan daun kelapa, sari kelapa nata de coco. Kata Kunci:  Kelapa, Klaster Industri, Location Quotient, Diamond Porter, MPE ABSTRACT This study aims to design a model for the downstream coconut industry cluster in Padang Pariaman Regency with a systems approach so that the structural elements of the industrial cluster development system are formed. The research was conducted in several stages. The first stage is to analyze the potential of coconut commodities in Padang Pariaman Regency using the location quotient (LQ) method. The second stage is to identify through literature studies and interviews with experts based on indicators on the diamond porter model to determine whether coconut commodities have the potential to be developed into an industrial cluster. The third stage is to determine the type of industry that can be developed in the downstream coconut industry cluster using the exponential comparison method (MPE). The fourth stage identifies the stakeholders involved and their roles in the downstream coconut industry cluster using a qualitative descriptive method. The fifth stage is to design a coconut downstream industry cluster map based on the diamond porter model using each of the previously defined elements. The results of the study obtained an LQ value of 12.5 which states that the downstream coconut industry cluster has the potential to be developed in Padang Pariaman Regency. Based on the MPE calculation, there are 8 priority products, namely: virgin coconut oil, coco fiber, charcoal briquettes, coco peat, coco vinegar, desiccated coconut, craft sticks and coconut leaves, coconut juice nata de coco. Keywords: Coconut, Industrial Cluster, Location Quotient, Diamond Porter, MPE

Abstract

Companies in the service industry are trying to make changes to meet the needs of the company and the needs of customers. Over the last few years, Total Quality Management has been developed and is one way to provide various changes in improving the quality of relationships with consumers. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors influence the implementation of Total Quality Management in the service industry using a systematic literature review (SLR). Search databases and article sources using the Harzing's Publish or Perish application. Database sources vary from Science Direct, Emerald, Springer, SSRN Papers, Growing Science, Cogentoa, Research Gate and Academia. Meanwhile, the keyword to search the database is Total Quality Management and Service Industry. After the SLR process was carried out to the previous studies that fulfill criteria of the keywords, there were 5 factors that were mentioned the most in almost all studies: top management commitment, continuous improvement, focus on customers, training and education as well as employee management and involvement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Salah satu isu penting dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana adalah pada perencanaan evakuasi yang tepat. Evakuasi menjadi faktor penting dalam mengurangi risiko bencana. Adapun pendekatan yang sering dilakukan untuk menjelaskan perilaku evakuasi adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan simulasi. Namun dari studi literatur ditemukan masih minim pembahasan mengenai simulasi pada perilaku evakuasi bencana secara vertical maupun horizontal dan moda transportasi yang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memaparkan literatur evakuasi bencana dengan pendekatan simulasi dan berbagai moda transportasi yang menjadi pilihan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah studi literatur secara sistematis pada naskah jurnal terindeks googlescholar, Scopus, Web of Science yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2021, dengan kata kunci behavioural, evacuation, simulation dan modelling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berbagai pendekatan simulasi dipilih dalam mengevaluasi perilaku evakuasi karena dinilai sebagai metode pendekatan yang sesuai. Sedangkan moda transportasi yang sesuai dapat berdampak pada efektivitas evakuasi.  Adapun metode evakuasi dapat berupa evakuasi horizontal maupun vertikal.  Kata Kunci:  Bencana, Perilaku evakuasi, Simulasi, Studi Literatur  ABSTRACT                                                                        Readiness in catastrophe is the one of critical issues in evacuation planning. The evacuation becomes success factor in reducing the number of victims. The simulation is frequently applied to interpret behavioural evacuation and to evaluate the evacuation effectiveness.  Nevertheless, only few literatures discuss about how simulation approach in behavioural vertical or horizontal evacuation, and transportation mode. The objective of this paper is to review literature that discuss about simulation approach in behavioural evacuation and also choosing the transportation modes. Systematic literature review is applied method and it is done for manuscripts published in 2015-2021 indexed by Google scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. The key words are behavioural, evacuation, simulation and modelling. The result is simulation approach is appropriate method for analysing behavioural evacuation in various natural disasters. Furthermore, the choosing of transportation modes might effect on evacuation effectiveness. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Setiap pekerjaan memiliki risiko tersendiri, termasuk pekerja pengelasan. Saat melakukan pekerjaannya para pekerja dihadapkan pada kondisi kerja yang tidak nyaman seperti jongkok dalam jangka waktu lama, punggung membungkuk, dan sebagainya yang dapat berisiko menyebabkan gangguan sistem otot rangka. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukan identifikasi risiko postur pekerja pengelasan. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengidentifikasi postur kerja menggunakan pendekatan ergonomi dengan menggunakan dua metode yaitu Nordic Body Map (NBM) dan Metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Hasil identifikasi Nordic Body Map menunjukkan bahwa pekerja mengalami keluhan setelah bekerja. Sebanyak 60% merasa agak sakit pada bahu kanan, punggung, pantat, siku kiri, lengan bawah kiri, tangan kanan, paha kanan, pergelangan kaki kiri dan kaki kanan. Sebanyak 80% merasa agak sakit pada bagian leher bawah, siku kanan, lutut kanan, betis kiri dan betis kanan. Keluhan terbanyak yaitu pada lengan bawah kanan sebesar 100%. Sedangkan nilai skor REBA tertinggi adalah 11 yang memiliki risiko sangat tinggi yang berarti lakukan perubahan sekarang/secepatnya. Tingginya skor REBA disebabkan pekerja bekerja pada posisi yang canggung dan tidak ergonomis. Untuk selanjutnya pemilik usaha bisa mengupayakan memberikan pelatihan tentang risiko bahaya yang bisa terjadi jika bekerja dengan posisi yang tidak baik dan tidak ergonomis sehingga Sehingga keluhan-keluhan yang ada bisa diminimalisir. Kata Kunci: Pengelasan, postur kerja, gangguan otot rangka, NBM, REBA  ABSTRACT                                                                         Workers when doing welding work are faced with uncomfortable working conditions such as squatting for long periods of time, back bending, and so on which can be at risk of causing skeletal muscle system disorders. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the risk of worker posture in welding work. The method used in identifying work postures uses an ergonomic approach using two methods, namely the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method. The results of the NBM show that workers experience complaints after work. As many as 60% felt mild pain in the right shoulder, back, buttocks, left elbow, left forearm, right hand, right thigh, left ankle and right leg. Then, 80% felt a little pain in the lower neck, right elbow, right knee, left calf and right calf. The most complaints were on the right forearm by 100%. While the highest REBA score is 11 which has a very high risk which means make changes now/as soon as possible. The high REBA score is caused by workers working in awkward and non-ergonomic positions. In the future, business owners can seek to provide training about the risks of danger that can occur if working in a position that is not good and not ergonomic so that complaints can be minimized.   Keyword:  Welding ,working posture, musculoskeletal disorders, NBM, REBA

Abstract

PG ABC dan PG XYZ adalah salah sau unit usaha dari PTPN XI yang berada pada wilayah barat. Selama ini selama proses produksi sering mengalami proses down time sehingga mengganggu proses produksi. Tingginya down time mempengaruhi turunya kapasitas gula yang dihasilkan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengukur Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan manajemen risiko selama proses produksi berlangsung di semua stasiun kerja. Hasil pengukuran OEE terdapat 4 stasiun kerja menghasilkan nilai overall plant efficiency < 85 %. Hasil analisis risiko atas rekomendasi PG ABC dan PG XYZ dipilih 4 risk agent dan 4 preventive action yang berdampak pada risiko operasional.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan objek permesinan CNC Router G-Weike WK1212 namun ditujukan untuk optimalisasi seting proses engraving. Permasalahan penelitian ini terletak pada seting operasional mesin yang masih berdasarkan perkiraan atau asumsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Taguchi untuk mengetahui seting optimal dari mesin CNC Router tersebut untuk proses engraving terhadap material kayu mahoni. Parameter uji penelitian ini adalah waktu proses, suhu mata pahat, dimensi panjang, lebar dan depth hasil proses. Mata pahat yang digunakan berjenis conical dengan diameter 3mm. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai level seting optimal terletak pada spindle speed 8 step, motion speed 7 step dan depth per cut 0.5mm. Kata Kunci:  CNC Router, Conical 3mm, Engraving, Optimasi, Taguchi ABSTRACT This research uses the G-Weike WK1212 CNC Router machining object to optimize the engraving process settings. The problem of this research lies in the operational settings of the machine which are still based on estimates or assumptions. This study uses the Taguchi method to determine the optimal setting of the CNC Router machine for the engraving process of mahogany wood material. The test parameters of this research are processing time, tool temperature, length, width and depth dimensions of the process. The chisel used is a conical type with a diameter of 3mm. The results of this study obtained that the optimal level setting value lies in the spindle speed of 8 steps, motion speed of 7 steps and depth per cut of 0.5mm. Keyword:  CNC Router, Conical 3mm, Engraving, Optimization, Taguchi

Abstract

Perusahaan penyedia jasa layanan transportasi diminta untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik agar dapat memuaskan para konsumen. Kenyamanan fasilitas merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk memenangkan persaingan dengan penyedia jasa layanan transportasi lainnya. Salah satu perhatian utama dari konsumen adalah fasilitas kursi penumpang karena penumpang menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya di kursi penumpang. Pada penelitian ini, kursi penumpang busway dijadikan objek penelitian dengan tujuan mendapatkan alternatif desain dengan cara mengidentifikasi voice of customers dengan model kansei engineering. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan di wilayah Jabodetabek dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian. Data yang diperoleh dari instrumen penelitian diolah secara analisis statistik. Hasil analisis dinilai secara desain dan teknikal dengan pendekatan KE sehingga diperoleh identifikasi desain kursi penumpang busway yang ergonomis dan sesuai kognitif konsumen. Pengembanagn desain dilakukan berdasarkan 5 (lima) faktor product properties yaitu daya tahan, fitur kenyamanan, ukuran, aspek fungsional dan estetika desain.Kata Kunci:  Ergonomic Assesment, Kursi Busway, Kansei Engineering

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Tempat pelelangan ikan merupakan kegiatan aktivitas perikanan yang meliputi pemasaran hasil tangkapan ikan. Kelompok tani tambak bungkak di Desa Banyuwangi Kecamatan Manyar Kabupaten Gresik merupakan salah satu kelompok budidaya ikan bandeng yang ada di Gresik. Kelompok ini bergerak dalam budidaya ikan bandeng serta penjualan ikan bandeng. Permasalahan dari kelompok tani tambak bungkak yaitu tidak adanya penentuan kriteria dalam proses pemasaran ikan bandeng pada tempat pelelangan ikan, sehingga kelompok tani tidak bisa menentukan tempat pelelangan ikan yang potensial terhadap pemasaran dan penjualan ikan bandeng. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan prioritas tempat pelelangan ikan bandeng yang tepat berdasarkan kriteria dan alternatif tempat pelelangan ikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Analytical Hierrarchy Process (AHP) dan Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Hasil dari pegolahan AHP-TOPSIS diperoleh tempat pelelangan ikan yang menjadi prioritas yaitu pasar ikan lamongan dengan prosentase sebesar 86.82%. Pasar ikan lamongan dianggap mampu serta optimal terhadap kriteria kualitas, harga, jarak pengiriman dan fleksibilitas. Kata kunci: Tempat Pelelangan Ikan, Ikan Bandeng, Analytical Hierrarchy Process (AHP), dan Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) ABSTRACT  Fish auction place is a fishery activity which includes marketing of fish catches. The bungkak pond farmer group in Banyuwangi Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency is one of the milkfish cultivation groups in Gresik. This group is engaged in milkfish cultivation and selling milkfish. The problem with bungkak pond farmers' groups is that there is no criteria for the marketing process of milkfish at the fish auction, so that the farmer group cannot determine the potential fish auction places for the marketing and sales of milkfish. The purpose of this study was to determine the priority of the right milkfish auction place based on the criteria and alternative fish auction places. The methods used in this research are Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution). The results of the AHP-TOPSIS processing obtained that the priority fish auction place was the Lamongan fish market with a percentage of 86.82%. The Lamongan fish market is considered capable and optimal on the criteria of quality, price, delivery distance and flexibility.Keywords: Fish Auction Place, Bandeng Fish, Analytical Hierrarchy Process (AHP), and Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS).

Abstract

One of the leading automation companies in Indonesia is producing production to meet the needs of industrial automation or robot parts, and to meet the needs of companies using the linear guidance techniques available on 3D Printers. There is a noticeable difference in consumer behavior, where the quality of hand-held connectors is poor, which is reflected in the increase in the number of complaints that exceed the company's monthly limit. Using the process control statistics (SPC) method, cause and effect, and the 5W+1H method as in the previous study, the proposed improvements will be determined by the production of hand connectors on 3D Printers. Based on the results of the study, 2 points approached the control limit (UCL) on the P chart, which is the 5th and 10th observation data. This indicates that there is a mismatch in the product being produced. Causes of differentiation are derived based on the following factors: Engine (non-optimal machine condition); Methods (design work that requires new ideas to meet customer needs); Material (PLA does not meet standard and Expiration); Human (does not work according to SOP and employees are not in prime condition); Environment (high humidity level).
