Abstract

This research was aimed at describing: (1) the students’ moral reasoning level, (2) the difference between moral reasoning level of the students enrolled in 2014 and in 2012, and (3) the difference between moral reasoning level of male and female students. This research applied quantitative approach and descriptive comparative method. The research findings indicated that: (1) the students’ moral reasoning ability were in conventional level, (2) there was no significant difference between moral reasoning level of the students enrolled in 2014 and in 2012, and (3) ) there was no significant difference between moral reasoning level of male and female students. Keywords: moral reasoning, cheating

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a medium learning of comic learning titled“Ayok! Belajar Berempati Bersama Teman-teman” which was assumed to be useful to engage empathy of third graders at SDS 17 Agustus Tebet South Jakarta. The method used in this research was research and development with technique of analyzing the quantitative data and descriptive statistic technique though developmental model which was orientated toward the result of developmental model of Baker and Schutz with the procedures of the research a follows:( 1 ) analyzing the needs, ( 2 ) specifying the learning,( 3 ) composing the blue-print of instruments, ( 4 ) producing comic development, ( 5 ) trialing the products, ( 6 ) revising the products, ( 7 ) Analyzing all the processes of development from the beginning until the end. The research produced a comic learning empathy entitled “Ayok! Belajar Berempati Bersama Teman-teman” divided into two parts for the kids and the tutors, which the appropriateness was very high based on the results of a review from the experts as 83,8 % . The results of the trial showed that the comics gave improvement upon students’ empathy as 25,74 % .Keyword: comic learning, empathy

Abstract

The couple will be married requires and make a preparation not only physical but also psychological. Many divorces occur because of the preparations made less than the maximum. One of them is the ability to reveal himself or self -disclosure about thought and felt when tehy are interacting and communicating with others. Various way to ability of self disclosure is through games Johari windows. Abstract

this study aims to find differences between self-reliance and independence firstborn youngest child. The method used in this research is to use the comparative method. In this study took the entire population student in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 86 Cipayung, the number 88 students. Sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling with a purposive sample of 60 students, 30 students firstborn and 30 students youngest child. Data collection techniques using research instrument in the form of objective tests attitude as much as 31 grains that have been tested for validity and relibility. The analysis technique used is the analysis of the differences with the t-test, at significance level α = 0.05. Test requirements analysis used in this study is the chi-square test for normality and homogeneity test. The results showed, on average, the  independence of the firstborn = 82,7 and the average the results of the independence of the youngest child = 76,83. From the results of hypothesis testing using obtained by value  = 2.42 and  = 1.67 at significance level of 5%,. The results indicate that rejected and  be accepted. This means it has prove the truth of the hypothesis thus there is a difference between the independence of the eldest son and youngest child in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 86 Cipayung, East Jakarta academic year 2015-2016.Keywords :independence , birth order , the eldest , the youngest child , early childhood .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase proficiency of guidance and counseling teachers by conducting training counseling of rational emotive behavior for the guidance and counseling teachers of Junior High Schools, Senior High Schools and Vocational Schools in Muhammadiyah Jakarta. The training method used was varied lecture, simulation and recitation by assigning the fieldwork to apply counseling rational emotive behavior (REB) in their schools. The results of this study revealed that the skill of counseling teachers increased up to 33,9 %. Moreover, the participants organized steps of counseling REB, starting from guidance relations, management of thought and views, management of emotion and affection and management of behavior stages.Keywords: Proficiency, Counseling Rasional Emotive Behavior

Abstract

This study purpose to describe self readiness of graduate students to get married in terms of gender, cultural background, and economic conditions. The research method was ex post facto by using a factorial design 2 x 2 x 2. The population were graduate students class of 2013 and 2014 State University of Padang who was not married yet. The total sample were 300 people selected by random cluster sampling technique combined with purposive sampling technique. The instrument was a questionnaire. Data analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result showed: the level of self readiness graduate students to get married in terms of gender, cultural background, and economic conditions were in high category. Keywords: Self Readiness for Married, Gender, Background Culture, Economic Conditions

Abstract

Adolescence is a period in which the development and rapid growth. This change is also commonly called as puberty. The changes experienced by teenagers on puberty often make them restless. As a matter of fact, counseling teachers / counselors have an enormous role in helping students overcome the puberty. This role is reflected from counseling service given to help students face puberty so it can create good judgment of puberty. Hence, the teenagers will have a positive self-concept in his life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to figure out portray of parents’ attention toward students’ learning and their daily lives in SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. This research used a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample of the research was the tenth and eleventh graders at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis, which consisted of 156 students. It employed sampling proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used was Likert Scale. The results of reliability test stated that parental attention was 0,888. The results of the validity of the average an instrument parental attention was 0,559.The findings showed that parental attention on average was categorized as pretty good.Keywords: Attention, Parents

Abstract

The study aims to examine the effectiveness of role-play techniques in improving students self-esteem. The research method used a quasi experimental research with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data was collected using a questionnaire of self-esteem.  The participants of study were students of class 10th total of 14 participants (11 male students and 3 female students) in each experimental and control group with simple random sampling technique. The results are: (1) student’s self-esteem is in moderate category; (2) an intervention program of role-play techniques focused to improve student’s self-esteem who are in the low category and maintain other aspects of self-esteem; and (3) group guidance program through the use of role-play techniques is specifically effective to improving students self-esteem, except the indicator There is participation in activities in the neighborhood in the Aspects of Significance. Abstract

This study aims to describe subjective welfare of students from poor households. This research used a quantitative approach descriptive. The population of the research was the students in SMPN (State Junior High School) in Padang who received the stipend of Indonesian Cash  Transfer programme in 2015. Th samples were 152 students, chosen from technique of multistage random sampling. The instrument used was the reliability and the scale of subjective welfare students from poor households with the result of Cronbach’s alpha 0,909. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics.
