Abstract

This article is conducted on a simple question: how can a university create a sustainable and profitable startup? At present it is very difficult to predict changes in the future because even if conducting market research the results change rapidly. This is feared to have an impact on the existence of startups that are present in Indonesia so that they are unable to fulfill the consumers' desires for the products or services created by the startup. A traditional management has not been able to overcome uncertainty in the future. Therefore, the concept of an entrepreneur university is needed and also a more comprehensive method to deal with it. The purpose of this research is to build a startup at an entrepreneur university environment. The output of this research is in the form of a table of operationalisation of concepts that are expected to be used to help the success of startups created through an entrepreneur university.

Abstract

Fungsi utama dari perbankan di Indonesia adalah menyalurkan dana kepada masyarakat berupa kredit. Dalam menjalakan fungsi tersebut perbankan haruslah mengambil risiko untuk mempertahankan keuntungan mereka dan untuk memenuhi peran mereka dalam perekonomian. Salah satu yang perlu dilakukan oleh bank adalah untuk mengatur manajemen risiko tersebut dimana berfungsi untuk sebagai penyangga terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya kerugian. Kredit SME merupakan salah satu segmen kredit yang sangat kompleks, hal ini dikerenakan banyaknya faktor yang mempengaruhi kredit tersebut menjadi default.Hingga saat ini, model yang sering digunakan untuk mengukur risiko kredit adalah dengan menggunakan Metode Standardized Approach yang mengacu pada ketentuan Bassel II. Studi literatur dalam tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model CreditRisk+ dapat membantu optimalisasi manajemen risiko kredit terutama dalam pencadangan modal yang harus ditetapkan oleh perbankan di Indonesia

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari perputaran kas dan perputaran piutang terhadap profitabilitas atau return on asset (ROA). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausal komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 20 perusahaan dari perusahaan LQ 45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode tahun 2012-2017 sehingga total sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 120. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perputaran Kas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ROA. Sedangkan Perputaran Piutang berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ROA. Dengan demikian manajemen perusahaan untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas (ROA) harus mampu mengelola perputaran kasnya agar likuiditas dari perusahaan dapat terjaga dengan baik. Selain itu walaupun perputaran piutang dalam penelitian ini berpengaruh negati tidak signifikan, akan tetapi manajemen perusahaan juga harus memberikan perhatian agar piutang yang dimiliki perusahaan memiliki kualitas yang baik agar tidak berdampak terhadap menurunnya profit perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the organizational culture in one of the automotive companies in Indonesia as well as to study the level of readiness of the company in the application of organizational culture to face the highly competitive automotive business in Indonesia. Organizational culture that represents a set of value, trust and shared meaning that is applied intensively and institutionalizes will provide collective benefits that can make the organizational culture strong which will give of success to the company where success of organization depend on organizational culture because organizational culture is the most important construct in building and maintaining a company's success.This study discusses the mapping of organizational culture in one of the automotive companies in Indonesia based on the Denison cultural organization model that has four dimensions, namely mission, consistency, involvement and adaptability. The sample of 174 aimed at employees in all divisions and in all hierarchy in the company.The results of the study show that the company has a strong culture in each division of work and hierarchical companies. The company has a model that fits the four-dimensional model of Denison's Corporate culture, making the company consider having capabilities that are in line with competition in the automotive industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get know about: how the society's perception of Lorong Basah Night Culinary which is reviewed from for tourismcomponents are attractions, amenitas, accessibility and hospitality based on the perception of the people who have visited. The benefits of this research as a contribution to develop tourism components in Lorong Basah Night Culinary in order to continue to be known as a culinary tourism destination in the city of Palembang. This research is quantitative research with respondents cosisting of 115 society’s who have visited in Lorong Basah Night Culinary. The determinination of respondents by accidental sampling data collection is done by questionnaires, interview, documentation, and literature study. The result of the questionnaires is measured by using Likert scale then interpreted. The results represent that most society’s perceptions showed agree of the categories from four tourism components in Lorong Basah NightCulinary, but the scoring results show a small percentage of the accessibility component isabout 65% because there is one indicator in the neutral categoryand small result too of amenities component is amount to 65.6% because there are two indicators in the neutral category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the factors that affect customer satisfaction in terms of service factors in PT. Pegadaian UPC Bengkalis, The most dominant factor influencing the level of customer satisfaction in terms of service factors in PT. Pegadaian UPC Bengkalis and the smallest factor affecting the level of customer satisfaction in terms of service factors in PT. Pegadaian UPC Bengkalis. The population in this research was all customers who have never been become customers at PT. Pegadaian UPC Bengkalis and the sample were 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This type of research is associative research. The survey results revealed that the factors affecting the measurement of the level of satisfaction in terms of service factors in PT. Pegadaian UPC Bengkalis namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and intangible. The most dominant influencing factor is Responsiveness and the smallest factor influencing that Empathy.

Abstract

Transformasi di tubuh perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara mulai menjadi perhatian. Pengembangan perusahaan terus digenjot agar memberikan kontribusi yang maksimum bagi pendapatan negara. Namun kendala yang terjadi adalah masih banyak perusahaan negara yang stagnan bahkan belum bertumbuh. Oleh karena itu Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara membangun Rencana Strategis guna mendorong perusahaan negara tersebut agar memiliki daya saing. Disamping itu erubahan environment business dunia terus melaju mengalami percepatan. Internet of things, industri 4.0, big data, artificial intelegence merupakan sebuah tren baru perkembangan tekhnologi informasi yang menggerakan banyak industri. Dimana intinya adalah percepatan pelayanan dan penekanan efisiensi biaya. Percepatan pelayanan dan efisiensi biaya adalah kendala perusahaan-perusahaan milik pemerintah. Dimana praktek operasional yang birokratis menghambat kinerja perusahaan dalam melayani masyarakat yang semakin kompleks. Merubah cara berpikir dan berstrategi menjadi keharusan. Transformasi budaya organisasi dan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis digital merupakan langkah cepat yang diputuskan Board of Director untuk segera dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur berikut pengumpulan data sekunder dari perusahaan maupun lembaga terkait dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses transformasi budaya dan strategi merupakan sebuah upaya membagun kepercayaan masyarakat akan lembaga keuangan yang diminati banyak kalangan. Peran pemimpin sangat menentukan proses dari transformasi berjalan dengan baik sesuai visi dan tujuan rencana strategis perusahaan. Namun transformasi akan behasil tergantung kesiapan dari individu yang bergerak atas dasar semangat budaya organisasi.

Abstract

This article is conducted based on a simple question: why big companies fail? Nowadays, companies are faced with market conditions that are far different compared to a few years ago. Starting from consumers who demand the speed and convenience of the products or services they will consume, until the competition becomes very tight due to the large number of newcomers emerging. Therefore, companies cannot use their old ways that might have worked in the past. Companies must be able to adapt to the current conditions by making various innovations both from the products and processes they do within the company to survive in the market of this era. However, innovation is not as simple as creating something new and different from the others. An innovation process can be said to succeed if the company can not only create a new product or process, but also can distribute the results of the innovation process so that many parties can feel the impact of their innovation. This is a qualitative research that uses comprehensive literature review to analyse the problem. The purpose of this study is to discuss two factors that have an important role in the success of an innovation process, namely creation and deployment. The output of this research is in the form of a table of operationalization of concepts that are expected to be used to help the success of the parties who will carry out an innovation process. Keywords: Innovation, Innovation Process, Creation, Deployment

Abstract

To keep the CNC milling machine from being broken down quickly requires proper care and operation to extend the life of the machine. However, long-term machine break down, although not desirable, will be unavoidable. In this research we try to model the distribution of the engine breaking down probability by considering the first failure of the machine, which will be useful to predict the amount of machine failure in the future and also we model the cost of corrective maintenance. From the modeling results using several assumptions with the help of one of the statistical software obtained the rate of failure of CNC milling machine 55 mill which is in the laboratory of CNC machine is obtained weibul distributed from the modeling results and corrective maintenance cost of pareto which can be used in the prediction of the price of this machine's insurance premium.
