Abstract

The advancement of the virtual world has shaped the millennial generation and beyond to become digital natives who are out of control, without obstacles, and connected. The global world is presented freely with negative values of life, absurd, meaningless, and seemingly without God. The emphasis is on how to rebuild this fallen, weak, and chaotic native digital self-image. The goal is that through music and kerygma strategies, these Christian influencers can become a catalyst for the digital generation to return to God with the proper self-image. So it is an essential solution because the virtual space has a vast scope, without limits and high flexibility after church services have begun to be abandoned. A research method is a qualitative approach with data collection through literature study and observation. It is hoped that through this research: (1)New Christian influencers will emerge with spiritual content, (2)The millennial generation will repent and recover, (3)So that they will return and be integrated with the church. Future research is expected to be quantitative to see how strong the influence of changes and new strategies can be as alternative solutions.

Abstract

This article is an attempt to find the deepest meaning of the text of Joel 2:18-27 for the life of Israel in the post-exilic period and which will be implemented in the present life. Unlike the prophetic texts in general which tend to contrast religious rituals with the crisis of social awareness of the nation of Israel, the text in this passage is actually a consolation and hope for a nation that has fallen as a result of commitment to undergo a new life order. Right life and right worship. The approach used to interpret the text is the Historical-Apocalyptic Hermeneutics to get God's message in the message of Joel. God apparently did not allow the survival of life on earth to be threatened, God listened to lamentations and noticed changes in the pattern of Israel's life so that it promised a peaceful future. The same promise would certainly be the consolation and hope of God's people today in the shock of Covid-19.

Abstract

Abstract

There velations about sex are often regarded as very risky, taboo, dirty and embarrassing. Similarly, in the lives of Papuans and most indonesian Protestant church members in Papua (hereinafter written GPI Papua), this action is usually done on the basis of awareness that sex is an immoral activity  and will cause new deviations, especially by teenagers. Whatever reaction arises must be realized that the problem of sex is a concrete problem, but many people can not give the appropriate answer that causes a new problem. Based on these conditions, sex education needs to be organized one of them by the church to minimize the problem of sex. In its implementation, sex education in the church must be done through the preparation of a representative educational curriculum. Sex education materials integrated in the curriculum are actual and aligned with the objectives of Christian Education. Through this paper, the author wants to  write theoretical thought as a contribution of thought taking into account aspects of the context of sex education organized by the church. The direction and purpose of the church's sex education curriculum is based on the Bible and is aimed at raising awareness of learners responsible for their lives for the glory of God.
