Abstract

Bukit Cermin Tanjungpinang City is the location of Rukyatul Hilal which has been used by the Ministry of Religion of Kepulauan Riau Province since 2015. The factor of using Bukit Cermin as the location of Rukyatul Hilal is because it has an observable area of view at azimuth 240o-300o and easy access to the location. The topography of Tanjungpinang is mostly sea/water. So it is easy for evaporation to occur so that clouds often appear in the afternoon, especially on the western horizon when the sun will set and become an obstacle in the implementation of Rukyatul Hilal in Tanjungpinang city. Since 2015 until now, in Bukit Cermin the hilal has never been seen. So, Bukit Cermin is not suitable as a location for Rukyatul Hilal.

Abstract

There was a list of regional corrections in the prayer schedule. Falak experts differ in the use of the corrected conversion prayer schedule for this area. The focuses of this paper were: How is the basis for calculating regional corrections? And How is the review of Falak experts and fiqh Hisab Rukyah using the conversion prayer schedule from district corrections? Conclusion: The basis for calculating regional corrections in the prayer schedule was related to the difference in the longitude of the place. A difference of 1 longitude was equivalent to 4 minutes. Regional corrections presented were the result of rounding. There were district corrections where the difference was a little. There were correction data for areas that differ significantly. Regional corrections were only limited to cities or areas adjacent to that city. Its use was not as an initial guideline for prayer times in far distant places.

Abstract

The five daily prayers are an obligation that must be carried out by Muslims every day. Carrying out in accordance with the times that have been determined and facing the Qibla is a virtue in carrying out this obligatory worship. Of course, in this modern era, Muslims should not use their busy lives as an excuse to neglect the command to pray. Therefore, Muslims need to be disciplined in dividing their time. The use of mobile devices as a companion in carrying out daily activities is very common for some people. This is because some cellphones already have more functions and capabilities than just their basic functions. Android as an operating system that can be embedded in mobile devices has the ability to install applications needed by users. In this final project, a prayer application and Qibla direction are developed, it is hoped that Muslims who use mobile devices based on the Android operating system can be helped to continue to carry out worship on time and in accordance with the correct Qibla direction.

Abstract

Astronomy is important to be introduced and taught to children because many things related to it are closely related to the actual lives of children. To introduce astronomy to children, the thing that is most considered as an obstacle is the availability of astronomical tools and the practical use of children learning astronomy. The method used in this research is Research and Development (research and development). Based on the assessments of the two validators for the media, the average value obtained is 76.88%. In terms of media, this constellation board is categorized as quite feasible to be developed. Based on the assessments of the two validators for the material, the average value obtained is 80.36%. From a media perspective, this constellation board is in the category worthy of being developed. The average validation from media experts and material experts was obtained at 78.62% with a fairly decent category.

Abstract

The moon is the only natural satellite of the earth in space that has many variety of surface profiles. These profiles are Crater and Maria. Lunar maria and craters vary widely in size from small to large. This journal aims to measure the diameter of the lunar mare using a comparison of the pixel values of the image and laptop screen as well as the specifications of the refractor telescope and CCD camera. This method also aims to be used with or without a telescope like using only DSLR cameras. The Maria that we measured its diameter were Nectaris, Serenitatis, Tranquilitatis and Vaporum. These Maria are close to the center of the lunar circle to avoid the darkening effect. The diameters of the mare Nectaris, Serenitatis, Tranquilitatis and Vaporum are 380.5 km, 651.5 km, 439.9 km and 323.1 km, respectively, with an error range of 3.38 49.77 %.

Abstract

The issue of syafaq and fajr resurfaced when the ISRN UHAMKA institute presented the results of its research related to the position of syafaq and fajr using Sky Quality Meter (SQM) and All Sky Camera (ASC). The results showed that the time for the Isha prayer was too long and the Fajr too early. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the sun's altitude that has been used so far through the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and Islamic organizations ranges from -18 degrees for Isha prayer time and -20 degrees for fajr prayer time. The results of several studies that have been carried out have obtained varying results ranging from -13 to -20 degrees. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems that exist in determining the sun's altitude for the Isha and Fajr prayers time. This study shows that there are differences in criteria in determining the sun's altitude for the Isha and Fajr prayer times.

Abstract

The timing of imsak in Indonesia listed in the Imsakiyah Ramadan schedule is very important to be understood and implemented in the community because imsak relates to the time of the start of fasting both fasting in Ramadan and fasting sunnah and to know the time of the start of fajr prayer. The determination of fajr prayer in each region has a different time, this difference is because each region has different astronomical data from latitude to longitude of a place therefore it takes time ihtiyath. The problem that occurs in the community in implementing imsakiyah schedule is not paying attention to the calibration of the clock, the difference in the use of high sun early at dawn and eating or drinking at dawn.

Abstract

Currently smartphone technology has become a very massive human need used by the wider community. Throughout the author's search on Google Play and the Apple Store, hundreds of software related to Islamic astronomy were found. It's just that those relating to the Islamic Astronomy Encyclopedia Application have not been found. With the existence of an information system about the Islamic Astronomical Encyclopedia on a smartphone device, it will certainly make it easier for users, especially astronomical scientists who need various information needed. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the presence of the Islamic Astronomy Encyclopedia Mobile Application is very useful for the development of Islamic astronomy studies.. The advantage of this application is that it uses open source so that the author can update the data at any time if data is found that is not yet available in the application. The next, so that the Islamic Astronomy Encyclopedia Application develops well and does not harm users who use risk management with various related SOP.
