Abstract

Company is one of economic support in a country. That's company's urgent role for economic development, so that needs open and rational management. Company management needs atool for planning, controlling and decisions making. Cost Volume Profit is a tool for planning and budged canmake more sure sales, production, cost and earning or lose forecast. So that can improve financial statement validity. Cost volume Profit analysis in useful in the very early stageof planing. Cost volume profit (CVP) analysis is method for analyzing the relationships among volume, cost and profit. Manager use these relationships to plan, budget and make dicisions. Planning begins with the setting of general goals proceeds to the cost volume profit analysis of various alternatives, and with preparations of a detailed quantitative plan of action the budget.

Abstract

This study will analyze factors that have influence on increase of performance of sales persons, through quality of sales territory design, effectivity of sales persons’s activity, level of experience in selling, technical competence of sales persons and its relevance to the increase of performance of sales persons. This study model uses five hypotheses, that is the better the quality of sales territory design the more effective the activity of sales persons, the higher the level of experience of sales persons in selling the higger the technical competence of sales persons, the higher the technical competence of sales persons the more effective the activity of sales persons, the higher the technical competence of sales persons the higher the performance of sales persons. The technique of sample collection that was used in this study was purposive sampling method, where sample was selected with terms/conditions that were consideres as having essential characterictics that were relevant to this study. The respondents used here were 100 respondents that is the sales persons of PT. Sinar Niaga Sejahtera Distribution Area of Central Java I that have worked for the company for more than one year. The data analysis technique that was used here was the structural equation modeling ( SEM ) from AMOS 16.0 software package in modeling and review of hypotheses. The results of data analysis will explain the causality relation amongst variables that are being developed in this study model.

Abstract

The research is purposed to know the potential of advertisement tax income in Bandung. The research method, descriptive analytical method with calculate the level of region autonomy with collecting financial report 2001 up to 2007 in official bandung region income.The results of the research shows that the potential of the advertisement tax from 2001 up to 2002 under target and realization of advertisement tax income. Whereas, the potential of the advertisement tax from 2003 up to 2007 higher from target and realization of advertisement tax income.The writer also wants to give the recommendation to increase collecting subject andobject af advertisement tax so that the potention and the realization advertisement tax income can be known.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction to wards the resigned intention with organizational komitment mediation and auditor job, the reseach is an empirical study to publikc account office in Semarang. The analysis methode used in this research in the classiccal Assumption test,covering normality test,autocorelation test, multicoloniaritas test, and regression fit model test used simultaneous test F, coefficient determination test, hypotesis test, and mediation test. The results of the research show that job satisfaction have positif significance effect to wards organizational commitment. Shown by the value of t count 17,546 > t table 1,992 by the significant 0,000 < 0,05. Job satisfaction have negative significance effect to resigned intention. Shown by the value of t count -2,449 > t table 1,992 by the significant 0,017 < 0,05. Organizational comitment has negatif significant effect. It is shown by the value of count -2,183 < t table 1,992 with the significancy 0,033 < 0,05. The result of this test also shows that organization commitment mediates the job satisfaction to wards resigned intention. It is shown by t count 2,29 > t table 1,992.

Abstract

Companies (including SMEs) is required to be able to maintain its existence and face the forces or factors of competition (five forces) that is a competitor in the same company, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers, threat of new entrants and threat of substitute products (Porter, 1996). Therefore, the company should have adequate management and strategy. This means that the company must have a competitive advantage, among others, in the areas of technology, product quality, quality of personnel, capital, price, cost-efficient and satisfactory service quality.The purpose of this study was (a). analyze the effect of networking on market entry strategy quality; (b). analyze the effect of marketing on the completeness of information quality and market entry strategy (c). analyze the effect of market entry strategy to marketing quality performance of SMEs in Semarang. While the Research Contributions (a). Provide feedback to the SME entrepreneurs in Semarang in improving marketing performance through increased market entry strategy for quality; (b) Provide feedback to the Government of Semarang in determining the policies / regulations to encourage the development of a product business, especially SMEs; and (c) To contribute in the field of scientific marketing strategies (marketing strategy) that proved empirically. This research is exploratory, descriptive and causal, which requires the support of research, testing and development of the conceptualization of the latest facts. The population of this study are the owner or manager of SMEs in Semarang. Data analysis techniques: (a). Descriptive analysis to determine the general perception of respondents regarding the variables studied; (b). Hypothesis testing is performed with multiple regression is used to test the structural equation model (SEM).The research results showed that the completeness of the information networking and marketing a positive effect on quality Market entry strategy. Market entry strategy for quality also has positive influence on Marketing Performance. This study failed to find that Market entry strategy can also affect the quality Performance Marketing. It can be concluded that SMEs who want to improve their Performance Marketing need to build a better Market entry strategy qualiyt her to reliable by SMEs.

Abstract

Right issue is once of corporate action in Stock Exchange. This nnouncement is very important for investor to make decision for invesment in public companies.This study aimed to examines the difference Abnormal return mean and Trading Volume Activity mean, before and after righ issue event. Samples in this study are public companies that list in Jakarta Stock Exchange within 2000 – 2003. This research uses 25 public companies which was representatif sampel. With signifikan level 0.05, this research indicates that there is not a difference Abnormal return mean and Trading Volume Activity mean, before and after right issue event. This means that no information in right issue event

Abstract

This study is aimed to (1) knowing how to customer value can influence consumer loyalty at “P” insurance’s consumers, (2) knowing how the appeal of advertising can influence consumer loyalty at “P” insurance’s consumer, and (3) knowing how salesperson’s competencies can influence consumer loyalty at “P” Insurance. The results are (1) Customer value can increase consumer loyalty, (2) The appeal of advertising can increase consumer loyalty, and (3) The competence of salesperson can increase consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The early perspective corporate governance comes from agency theory. In the model of agency theory, principal is ownership of the company who give their right to agent. The conflict of interest between principal and agent could be happen because existence of dissociation between ownership and management of company. The corporate governance appears to minimize that conflict and to control they behaviour. The aim of this research is to find out empirical evidence about the influence of corporate governance mechanism indicator to public company performance inIndonesia.            Population of this study is company where listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (BEJ), with amount of sampel 91 public company. There is two indicator of corporate governance mechanism in this research, first the internal corporate governance mechanism indicator was measured and proxied by the amount of board of directors, independent board of commissioner proportion, and debt to equity. The second is external corporate governance mechanism was measured and proxied by institutional ownership. The asymetry information was measured with relative bid ask spread, earning management with discretionary accruals (DA) and performance of public company with proxied by tobin's q. Hipotheses were tested by analysis of multiple linier regression.            This study reveals that in the internal corporate governance mechanism, only debt to equity have positive significant effect to company performance. The amount of board of directors and independent board of commissioner proportion do not have positive significant effect to company performance. The institutional ownership as  external corporate governance mechanism do not have positive effect significant to company performance. Variable asymetry information and earning management has  significant effect to company performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of competence, motivation and communication on employee performance with intellectual intelligence as a moderating variable. So it can be analyzed whether the intellectual intelligence variable can serve as moderating to the performance of employees.Variables in this study consisted of five variables where in the first stage of competence, motivation and communication variables become independent variables while employee performance becomes dependent variable. Then in the second stage the three independent variables are modified with intellectual  intelligence variables.Techniques of collecting research data by spreading questionnaires on employees of state-owned companies in Semarang City. The number of samples in this study amounted to 195 people. Analyzer used in this research is doubled linear regression, while to test the moderation variable by using MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis).

Abstract

The general purpose of these paper is to empowerment of fishing society through the strengthening of fisher koperasi as one of the breakthroughs of capital needs to increasing revenue for the break cycle of poor. Model of institutional strengthening directed to revitalized organization and business which has been there. The respondent of these research are people of semarang coast. Primer data was collected in Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method which questionnaire and interview. A data analysis used descriptive analysis. This study identified some of the benefits if fisher join with koperasi are 1. To bulid economies of scale in any transaction in input markets and output markets. So that will achieve efficiency and improved bargaining power to higher prices in the output market and reduce price in input markets. 2. To get external economics that can be encrease productivity.3. To get the benefits of non-economic because of the pooling individuals into groups. So that fishermen decision to join koperasi is a strategic decision and relevant to strengthening the bargaining power in input and output markets and strengthening cooperation in partnership with other external partie.
