Abstract

Learning methodology PAI at UNISNU Jepara as the one of subject for students ability to understand how to implement learning methodology in class. However, in term of substance, curriculum of the subject is considered not entirely relevant to the required competences. While,  from the balance aspect, competence which is so vast is not supported by the vast curiculum content as well.Therefore, the writer wants to evaluate the curriculum learning methodology PAI, both of substance aspect and the curiculum content. The problem of the research is focused on the study of the subtance and the content of learning methodology PAI at UNISNU Jepara, as well as the relevance of the two aspects. The research method used is a case study. The data collection is triangulation. While, the analysis used a qualitative descriptive technique with content analysis approach.The result of the research indicate that there is a discrepancy between learning methodology PAI substance and formulated standard competence. On the other hand, standard competence are not quite complete because it only includes cognitive domains. While, in this curriculum content is consist of several irrelevant materials to the subtance of the subject.Therefore, the writer tried to redesign curriculum of the subject to redefine subtance and standard competency

Abstract

In the wake of this study: Islamic education provided by primary schools have only emphasizes the cognitive domain alone. This condition makes education in Indonesia just scored generation of academics versed in knowledge, but do not have the character in accordance with the values contained in Pancasila which resulted in national education curricula experienced some development. The purpose of this study to uncover the theoretical characteristics of the development of Islamic education curriculum Primary Schools in Indonesia through the objective and content of the curriculum teaching material Islamic Education Primary Schools in Indonesia in 1994, 2004, 2006, 2013. This study is a qualitative research that is research kepustakaaan ( library research) using the historical approach. The technique used for data collection is the documentation and review of the literature. Data analysis technique, researchers used content analysis method. The result of research indicating that: first, the purpose of the learning curriculum Islamic education from 1994 to 2013 of the same essence, that provide basic capabilities to students about Islam to develop a religious life so that a man of Muslim faith and fear of Allah, as well as the noble as individuals, community members, citizens, and human beings. Second, the charge of teaching materials each year to experience growth and a reduction in accordance with the needs of learners and the changing times

Abstract

Religious humanism is a religious concept that puts human beings as well as the humanization of science with regard to responsibility of hablun minallah and hablum minannas. Implementation This concept is a necessity urgent because of the phenomenon of education that exist as well as the diversity of social hinted religiosity vertical and splendor of the rituals, and social piety is still far from the orientation of our society, and in general the potential of the community has not developed proportionally, independence and responsibility is still a long way in our education. One form of human behavior in educational setting is the birth of social freedom in the child. Social freedom terminology here is that social freedom is essentially limited because humans are social creatures. As social beings, humans have a religious attitude as the basic view of humanity; (1 human tied into an agreement primordial of God, (2 human beings are born in the sanctity of origin, and assumed he would grow in holiness in case no environmental influences, (3 the sanctity of human origin it dwells in the conscience drove him to constantly look for and in favor of the good and true, (4 man is an ethical and moral creature, 5) every human being has a basic right to choose and determine the moral and ethical behavior. Model of atmosphere religious creation is strongly influenced by certain situations and conditions along with the application of the underlying values, namely: a structural model, formal models, models of mechanical and organic models. First, the structural model is the creation of religious fervor inspired by the regulations, the impression development, and policy of an institution or organization and more top-down. Second formal models is namely the creation of a religious atmosphere which builds on the understanding that religious education is a human effort to work on the problems of the afterlife/spiritual course. Third, the mechanical model is the creation of a religious atmosphere that is based on the understanding that education is seen as the establishment and development of a set value of life that runs according to function, which further highlight the moral and spiritual functions or cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. Fourth, organic models is namely the creation of religious fervor inspired by the view that religious education is the unity that developed a view of religious life and the spirit manifested in the attitudes and skills of religious life.

Abstract

The idea of the emergence of Educational Quality Improvement Management is a management strategy to build a school with its own strength. The potential, that exists in the school system, is empowered maximally in order to produce quality graduates. In the concept of management education, principals or leaders should be able to move all parts of the school in applying all the potential, synergistic, and continuously in the institution maximally. In the managerial concept, principals as top leader of organization should build systems in order to raise the quality of his school by: (a) controlling processes that take place in both curricular and school administration; (B) involving the process of diagnosis and following-up process for diagnosis; and (c) requiring the participation of all parties: teachers, administrative staff, students, parents and experts. The method used is analytical approach to analyze a variety of data conceptually. It used data elaboration through empirical data with the factual analysis in a real setting, especially in educational institutions (schools) to improve the quality of education depends on the leaders (principals). As a leader, the principal must (a) direct, (b) rely on the cooperation more in accomplishing the duty, (c) always instill self-confidence of teachers and administrative staff, (d) always demonstrate how to do something, (e) always develop enthusiastic atmosphere, and (f) always fix errors if any

Abstract

This descriptive research aimed at exploring students?? perception and expectation on native English teacher (NET) in teaching and learning process in two subjects namely Speaking 1 and Writing 1 at the Department of English Language Education in Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. This study provides an insight and a basis for evaluation regarding the presence and contribution of the NET at the university. Furthermore, this study could as well become a reflection for professional development of both NET and Non-NET at the university. The data in this study was collected by using questionnaires and interview. Overall, 40 first-year-students who took the aforementioned subjects participated in this research. This research reveals that, in general, the current NET has met the expectations of the students. However, the students believe that the number of the NET at the university is insufficient and they also believe that the current NET doesn??t give them enough assignment

Abstract

This article is concern on spirit of active non violence education, which is based on Qur??anic verses. This article use thematic method in order to understanding content of Qur??an about this topic. That way, it may change negative strereotype and intolerance behaviour which were correlated with religion??s doctrine. Qur??an as a holy book for moslems containing of education values active non violence. One of them is tolerance. Besides, it becomes way of life, and important thing for every moslem to realize tolerance in society. Based on Qur??anic verses, there are many teachings that related to tolerance in religion such as freedom of believing, allow of greeting to other believers, and say congratulation of great day to other believers religion. In social aspect, everyone can compete in this world to reach a success and do charity selflessly. In cultural aspect, Qur??an teaches the necessity of positive thinking, no condemn, and avoid suudhan or prejudice. In economic aspect, cooperation in trade is not restricted only between Muslims. However, anyone can be a business associate. There is no discrimination against people of other faiths or of certain groups.
