Abstract

The aim research to implementation learning and result of kimia by method Problem Based Learning of students XII IPA 2 SMA Kristen 1 Metro. The method that research tes-non tes, observation, document, and interview. Research result of Kimia learn problem based learning. Pracycle, cycle I,cycle II,and cycle III to increase. Result pracycle flat 55,29%, cycle I 70%, cycle II 79,70%, and cycle III 78,64%. The finished learning pracycle 2,94, cycle I to 38,23%, cycle II 64,70%, and cycle III 100%.

Abstract

The research aimed to improve the students’ outcome in Social Science subject through Jigsaw. The subjects of this research were the grade IX students of class IX B at SMP Negeri 30 Bandarlampung year 2018/2019. Therefore, the classroom action research by using the Jigsaw model was conducted. This classroom action research consisted of 3 cycles. The subject of the research was 27 students from class IX B. The data of students’ activity level was obtained from the observation sheet and the result of students group work assignment. The data of student’s learning outcome was obtained from individual written evaluation. The research showed that there was an increase in students’ activity level and learning outcome from cycle I through cycle III. Those result proved that through Jigsaw model, the learning outcomes in Social Science subject of students in class IX B at SMP Negeri 30 Bandarlampung year 2018/2019 significantly increased.

Abstract

The ability to speak is one of the language skills that a person needs to have. That is someone who lives in the community and school environment and anywhere. Speaking is common to us, but the failure of learning speaking skills is still widely heard among schools. This study used a classroom action research method that lasted for three months, carrying out various activities. The results possessed in learning Indonesian speaking skills through storytelling techniques can increase, this can be seen from the results of the pre-test nlai average children 40.5 while in the results of the children's test 77.15, and cycle 1 children get an average score of 63.3 and cycle II an average of 73.58. The above improvement can be seen that learning Indonesian language skills through storytelling techniques at SMPN 13 Bandar Lampung can increase, this shows that storytelling techniques are feasible and can be used to be applied in schools because they provide good results, especially in speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to write exposition texts and Indonesian language learning achievement in class X IPA 1 using the inquiry method. The formulation of the problem is how far the ability to write exposition texts and the Indonesian language learning achievement of Science class X.1 of Christian High School 1 Metro improves. Research methods and data collection tools using test techniques and non-test techniques. Results and discussion on pre-cycle 24.29%, cycle I to 52.98%, or an increase of 28.69%. In cycle II it got 61.63% and cycle III increased to 81.18%, there was an increase of 19.48%. While the average Pre-cycle learning achievement reached 61.11, the first cycle increased to 76.29, an increase of 18.11%. Cycle II got an average of 83.33, in cycle III it became 90, or an increase of 6.67%. The pre-cycle learning completeness was 14.81%, the first cycle was 59.25%, the second cycle was 77.77% and the third cycle was 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of event image media as an improvement in the ability to write poetry. This class action research consists of three stages, namely the precyclical stage, the si- klus I, and cycle II. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study was a class VIII student of SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung for the 2020/2021 academic year. In data collection used test and nontest techniques In the collection of data used test and nontest techniques. The test technique is in the form of the results of writing student poems, while the non-test technique is in the form of field notes, observations, interviews, questionnaire sheets, and photo documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data presentation is carried out by informal techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been stated, it can be implied that the use of event image media as an increase in the ability to write poetry in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung for the 2020/2021 academic year consists of cycle I and cycle II. In precyclical, students write poems without using media. On cycle I and cycle II students write poems using the medium of images of events that have been prepared and determined by the researcher.

Abstract

This research is a guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) which aims to determine whether the problem of online game addiction of class VIII students can be reduced through group counseling with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) technique. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII A, totaling 31 students of SMP Negeri 14 Bandar Lampungr. Determination of the subject of this study as many as 5 students, students' online game addiction to 5 students has a high category. Through the results of observations made in the early stages, it was found that 5 students had problems with high online game addiction in students. Then after being given services with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) technique which was carried out in group counseling, it was seen that the level of online game addiction was well reduced. This can be addressed with the results of observational data and interviews that have been conducted on students. Thus it can be concluded that the results of the research in the first cycle of a decrease in the level of online game addiction possessed by students through the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) technique, this can be seen from the first cycle the average achievement of the online game addiction level of 5 students is 47.06% in the medium category and in the second cycle there was a decrease with an average of 37.4% in the low category.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the effect of Freewriting technique on students’ ability to write procedure text. This research used a quantitative method. There were two classes as the sample in this research which was taken randomly from 24 classes. One class was AKL 1 as experimental, there were 35 students, and the other class was AKL 2 as the control class, there were 35 students. In determining the sample, the researcher used cluster random sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used a writing test. In analysing the data, the researcher used the t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that ttest 6.66 and ttable = 1.67 with the significance 5% (0,05) and ttable =2.39 with the significance 1% (0,01). It means that ttest > ttable. So, Ha was accepted. This shows that there is any positive and significant influence of using freewriting technique on the students’ writing ability. The students who were taught through the Freewriting technique got a higher score than those who were not taught through Freewriting technique. The average score of the experimental class was 68.61 and the average score of the control class was 57.14.

Abstract

The problems in this study are 1) student learning outcomes are still low, 2) some students are classified as passive in learning 3) when learning students are easily distracted by surrounding conditions and 4) the use of learning models has not varied. One way that can be done to overcome these problems is to apply the word square learning model. The purpose of this study is to increase social studies learning activities and outcomes using the word square learning model in grade 5 students at SDN 1 Beringin Raya Kemiling for the 2022/2023 academic year. The method in this study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 30 class 5A students at SDN 1 Beringin Raya Kemiling. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of observation sheets, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The indicator of learning outcomes in this study is to achieve a percentage of 80% of the total number of students who score above the KKM. The research results obtained were (1) student activity in cycle I using the word square learning model obtained a percentage of 64.29% and increased in cycle II to 88.10% and (2) social studies learning outcomes after implementing word square learning every the cycle has increased, where in the pre-cycle the mastery of 50% was obtained, then it increased in cycle I to obtain a percentage of 70% and increased again in cycle II to obtain a percentage of 90%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that by applying the word square learning model it can increase the activity and learning outcomes of Social Sciences students in grade 5 SDN 1 Beringin Raya Kemiling in the 2022/2023 academic year.
