Abstract

To obtain the allowed characteristic compressive strength of concrete from a concrete construction is quite difficult , because it is influenced by the mix of materials used for the manufacture of the construction, in which the require material of the concrete mix had to be in accordance with Reinforced Concrete Indonesia Rule Year 1991. The main factor of mix material that affect permitted the compressive strength of concrete is aggregate characteristics, namely the coarse aggregate or crushed stone. Therefore this study is intended to determine the compressive strength of concrete with the characteristics of coarse aggregate material of crushed stone that comes from limestone. This research use Gresik PC mixture concrete, muntilan sand, and kricak of limestone. To determine concrete compressive characteristics strength of concrete, concrete specimen as many as 20 pieces, with mixed-use PC weight ratio of 1 : 2 Ps : 3, cube molded kricak with the size of 15 cm X 15 cm X 15 cm was made. From these results, it can be obtained that concrete compressive characteristic strength σ 1 bk = 215.41 kg / cm2

Abstract

Development of tourism areas was planned to support the target of 20 million foreign tourists and 275 million domestic tourists visiting Indonesia in 2019. In order to accommodate these tourists, road infrastructures need to be improved so that its quality and quantity meets the characteristics of tourism area. Importance and satisfaction analysis of road service performance was used as an approach to determine the public road criteria which were needed to be improved. Results showed that the trips security to the tourism area, the placement of signage and the trip convenience were the criteria that have very high importance and satisfaction rating and needs to be continued maintained. However the criteria which were needed to be improved were the number of road lighting and the number of roadside station/rest area.

Abstract

Abstract: The addition of the Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) is done by stripping the asphalt mixture on the pavement structure and destroying it into a grained material. The percentage of RAP material addition and treatment of RAP material prior to use as a Job Mix Formula will affect the final result of the asphalt mixture so that the relationship between the asphalt mixture characteristics with the RAP material and the relationship between the asphalt mixture characteristics between the two treatments against RAP with or without the granulator need to be studied. The results of this study show that the addition of RAP material can improve the stability of the asphalt mixture, the optimal value of RAP material addition is between 20% and 30%. In addition, the use of RAP by granulisation process in aggregate mixtures can help to improve stability and mixed stiffness.Keyword: RAP, Asphalt mixture, granulator

Abstract

Road is an infrastructure in support of the economic rate and play a very big role in the progress and development of a region. With the increasing age of roads and roads continuously experiencing the stresses due to traffic loads borne from the initial conditions of the pavement design, the ability of road services will decrease further. Therefore, research is needed to identify road damage in 5 secondary arterial roads of Depok City, West Java. This study aims to determine the condition of roads and the determination of road maintenance priority in 5 secondary arterial roads Depok City. This research uses Pavement Condition Index method (PCI) which is used to know the condition of road and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the order of prirotas of road maintenance. The criteria used for decision making are budget, road condition, LHR, regional development and economy. Result of research by PCI method, from 5 road segment, it is found that the most damaged road is Jalan Merawan with PCI value is 23 (Serious). For the determination of road maintenance criteria by AHP method resulted in the criterion of road condition as the highest criterion with a weight of 0,505. From the assessment of each criteria on the 5 road segments found that Access UI access road becomes the first priority with the weight of 0.242.Keywords: AHP, Road Condition, PCI, Priority setting.

Abstract

At construction project there must be risks. Risk is a consequence of the uncertainty conditions. In construction projects, the risk can’t be predicted as well because there are a lot of uncertainty to predict problems (Nurdiana, 2015). The aims of this paper are to identify the risk from contractor persepction; to analyze the risk from contractor persepction; and to assign the risk respon from contractor persepction at project of Semarang-Solo Highway (segment Bawen-Solo).The primary data were the identification of risk and the assessment of risk (probability and impact of risk) that obtained by interview and questionnaire method. The secondary data were the project document and the previous research. Data analysis was done by Risk Breakdown Structure method.The identification of risks in the Bawen-Solo Highway project is divided into 4 categories, that are technical risk, procurement risk, contractual risk, and managerial risk. The risk identification is 11 risks which are in the risk category above. Based on the risk analysis that has been done, the biggest risk is contractual risk, which is the contract termination due to project delay. From the value of risk that has been analyzed, the majority of risk is at a low risk level (86%), then moderate risk (14%). Based on an analysis of the risk response, 86% of the risk response is accepted, and 14% of the risk response is mitigation.

Abstract

Research and Development Agency for Road and Bridge Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Balitbang Pusjatan Kemen-PUPR) has developed a bridge inspection software called Visual Inspection of Bridge or INVI J. The INVI J application which based on Android software and web has been implemented starting in 2018 at all Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) throughout Indonesia. Related to that, the analysis of  user perspective towards the utilization of the INVI J is significant to be done.This research was conducted by creating and distributing questionnaires to several INVI J software users within the Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional (BBPJN), Satuan Kerja (Satker), Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen (PPK) and Consultant.From this study, it can be concluded that in general the INVI J software is easy to learn, easy to operate and useful for users in conducting bridge surveys because it is faster than filling out a manual inspection form. However, INVI J does not have the ability and function as expected and the output produced is still not as desired, hence it is necessary to make an updating the application, in order optimize the output.

Abstract

The construction material innovation that will be discussed in thispublication is a lightweight brick with the HexaLock Brick model. This brick was ismade from cement, sand, and stryrofoam waste. The concept used in this brick is alock system with a hexagonal design that is more stable than ordinary brick shapes.From the results of the tests that have been done, it was found that HexaLock Brickhas several advantages compared to ordinary brick, which are lighter, more efficientfiller, smaller water absorption, smaller thermal resistance, and faster constructiontime.

Abstract

Construction plate that has undergone various treatments will definitely deform. Deformation can be interpreted as a change in shape that occurs because of several factors, starting from load pressure, withdrawal, lifting, and welding. In ship building is a welding work that causes the most deformation due to the influence of large heat so that the plate expands and curves quickly. If the deformation is not handled, it will change the shape of the dimensions of the ship and also affect the process of joining erection. To overcome the problem of deformation, the Fairing is done, namely the heating process and cooling the plate in extreme. The fairing process is a method that is carried out to improve the tenacity and toughness of a plate after being coldly bent. Heat treatment is needed to help restore the plate to the specified shape. So that it can minimize the occurrence of dimensional changes and prevent repair when joining erections.

Abstract

The phase of buildings maintenance in the project life cycle is still not well structured when compared to construction phase, especially in government buildings. In contrast to private buildings that have been well managed in their care. This is due to the different funding patterns and budgets and the different division of responsibilities, the private sector is easier without a long flow when they want to maintain and finance the building. The purpose of this study is to review the management of maintenance of building facilities on private projects to be recommended to government-owned buildings. Case studies were carried out on one of the private-owned buildings in Central Java by taking a review of the diesel pump facilities. The research method is by observing the process of maintaining a diesel pump that is deepened by interviews and looking at the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). The results showed that the One Point Lesson (OPL) maintenance system through daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance on private buildings was quite effective. Maintenance is categorized as autonomous, corrective, and preventive maintenance. This maintenance system has the potential to be adopted into government buildings by carrying out more in-depth analysis.

Abstract

Peningkatan manajemen keselamatan infrastruktur jalan merupakan komponen kunci untuk peningkatan keselamatan jalan. Untuk meningkatkan keselamatan jalan, selama tahap operasi dan pemeliharaan, otoritas jalan harus menemukan dan memperbaiki masalah keselamatan yang menjadi penyebab kecelakaan jalan, untuk mencegah kembali terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas. Sehingga audit keselamatan jalan sangat dibutuhkan, sebagai suatu sistem yang melakukan kontrol kualitas (keselamatan) jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian terhadap audit keselamatan jalan yang telah dilakukan pada berbagai lokasi dan melakukan penyimpulan terhadap rekomendasi audit keselamatan jalan dalam hal geometrik dan karakteristik jalan untuk dapat memberikan masukan pada tahapan perencanaan jalan baru di kemudian hari. Hasil dari studi ini adalah pada segmen jalan lurus perencanaan rambu peringatan dan batas kecepatan sangat diperlukan untuk menambah informasi kepada pengemudi. Terkait bagian tikungan dan tanjakan jalan, konsistensi dalam perencanaan radius tikungan mutlak diperlukan.  Selain itu khusus untuk daerah tanjakan, pada tikungan perlu dilengkapi marka garis lurus dan rambu batas kecepatan serta rambu dilarang menyiap untuk mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas.
