Abstract

This research attemps to find out the influence of teacher’s English talk in teaching toward students’ speaking ability. The objective of research is to get information about the teacher’s English talk at SMA Negeri I Wonomulyo and whether or not the English teacher’s talk in teaching influence the students’ speaking ability.The method used in this research is descritive. The sample of this research XI IPA 2, the total sample were 45 students at the second year students SMA Negeri I Wonomulyo and one of the English teacher by using cluster random sampling. The result of analysis shows that the teacher’s English talk in teaching gives the positive influence toward students’ speaking ability, the students speaking ability increase thus the students at SMA Negeri I Wonomulyo have a good speaking, it is proved by result of students’grades for speaking skill in learning which is classified as good classification (the main score is 71,82).

Abstract

This study is a report of an investigation into how various sources of self-efficacy information influence of students’ perceptions of self-efficacy at Bahasa Inggris 2 Course. Design of this research is a case study, especially observational case study. Three students of fourty-six from Teacher Education of Islamic Primary School Study Program of IAI DDI Polewali Mandar in participated in this research. From this study we determined that students individually displayed consistent experiences of efficacy change in their responses to the questionnaire and interviews. Mastery experiences were the most powerful efficacy source in Bahasa Inggris 2 course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis wacana narasi dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis wacana narasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 28 Bulukumba. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sebagai objek penelitian sebanyak 38 orang siswa kelas VIII dan guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada penulisan wacana narasi dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah siklus I berbeda dengan siklus II. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis wacana siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 28 Bulukumba. The purpose of this study was to apply the problem-based learning strategy in improving the ability of writing narrative discourse and to descibe the results of the application of problembased learning strategies in improving the ability of writing narrative discourse at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Bulukumba. This study used class action research with two ciclye. Data sources used in this study were 38 students of eight grade and teacher. The results of this study indicated that there was a different result in the writing of narrative discourse using problem-based learning strategies between cycle 1 and cycle 2. This result indicated that the problem-based learning strategy could improve the students ability to write narrative discourse at the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 28 Bulukumba.

Abstract

Profesionalitas seorang hakim bukan hanya karena cakap, intelektual, dan sukses di bidangnya sebagai seorang hakim, melainkan aspek tingkah laku juga bagian dari penilaian yang harus dimiliki dalam mengimplementasikan Kode Etik Hakim atau Etika Profesi Hakim untuk menegakkan hukum dan keadilan. Pentingnya Etika Profesi Hakim dalam penegakan hukum seharusnya menjadi pedoman bagi hakim dalam melaksanakan tugas profesinya yang bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, adil, bijaksana/berwibawa, berbudi luhur, dan jujur. The professionalism of a judge not only because of competent, intellectual, and successful in his field as a judge, but aspects of behavior are also part of the assessment that must be had in implementing the Code of Ethics for Judges or Professional Ethics of Judges to enforce the law and justice. The importance of Professional Ethics of Judges in law enforcement should be guidance to judges in performing the their professional duties which is fear of God Almighty and he should be fair, wise, dignified, virtuous, and honest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan DPRD terhadap penggunaan anggaran APBD tahun 2012 di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis dan empiris. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari anggota DPRD 15 orang, kelompok pemda 3 orang, serta LSM pemantau legislatif 2 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan DPRD terhadap penggunaan anggaran APBD di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat kurang efektif. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah kualitas SDM, komitmen, tanggung jawab, serta adanya campur tangan partai politik. This study aimed to analyze and to determine the factors that affect the implementation of the oversight function of parliament on the use of local budget in 2012 in West Sulawesi. The method used in this research are descriptive analytical and empirical. Subjects consisted of 15 members of parliament, 3 people of local government groups, as well as 2 people of NGO as legislative observers. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the oversight function of Parliament on the use of local budget in West Sulawesi is less effective. Factors that influence are the quality of human resources, commitment, responsibility, and the intervention of political parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor lingkungan kerja, insentif, penghargaan non finansial, kepemimpinan dan penempatan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai kantor Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kabupaten Polman dan menganilisis faktor yang paling berpengaruh signifikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel 75 orang yang ditetapkan berdasarkan metode sensus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja pegawai terkait lingkungan kerja berada pada kategori cukup kondusif, insentif berada pada kategori cukup sesuai, penghargaan non finansial berada pada kategori cukup menunjang, kepemimpinan berada pada kategori cukup baik, dan penempatan berada pada kategori cukup sesuai dan variabel yang paling berpengaruh signifikan adalah variabel insentif. This study aimed to determine and to analyze the influences of the work environment, incentives, non-financial reward, leadership, and job placement that can affect employees motivation of Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (office of civil service police unit) at Polman and analyze the factors that was being the most significant effect. The method used in this research is quantitative analysis. Number of samples were 75 people. The results showed that the overall description of employee motivation that related to the work environment was in the category conducive enough, the incentive was in the category quite appropriate, non financial award was in the category enough support, the leadership was in good enough category, and job placement was in quite fit category. Last, the most influential and significant variable was the incentive variable.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi menjadi sebuah hal yang tidak terelakkan dalam kehidupan saat ini begitu pula budaya organisasi. Perilaku seorang pemimpin dalam menjalankan kepemimpinannya menjadi salah satu indikator dari keberhasilan organisasi. Dalam menjalankan kepemimpinannya di era digital saat ini, seorang pemimpin patut mempertimbangkan etika-etika terkait integrasi teknologi dalam organisasi. Kepemimpinan rabbani meletakkan dasar kepemimpinan yang berpegang pada tauhid sebagai proses pertanggungjawaban yang berdasarkan pada pertimbangan moral. Tulisan ini memuat kajian konseptual terkait manajemen rabbani dalam kaitannya dengan gaya kepemimpinan pimpinan dan budaya organisasi di IAI DDI Polewali Mandar yang berbasis teknologi informasi dalam pandangan Islam. The development of technology and information becomes an inevitability in this lifetime as well as the organizational culture. A leader's behavior in carrying out its leadership is one indicator of the success of the organization. In carrying out its leadership in today's digital era, a leader should consider the ethics related to the integration of technology in the organization. Rabbani's leadership laid the foundation of leadership adhered to the tauhid as an accountability process that is based on moral values. This article contains conceptual studies related to Rabbani management in its relation to the leadership style and organizational culture in IAI DDI Polewali based on information technology in Islam perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran multiple intelligences dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada SD Islam Terpadu Wihdatul Ummah Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari informan yaitu Kepala SD Islam Terpadu Wihdatul Ummah Makassar, Kepala SMP Islam Terpadu Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bagian Kurikulum, Guru Kelas 1A1, 1A2, 1B1, 1B2, guru shadow kelas 1A2 dan kelas 1B2, serta dokumentasi dari sekolah. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran multiple intelligences pada SD Islam Terpadu Wihdatul Ummah Makassardapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik. This study examines the implementation of multiple intelligences learning approach in improving udents’ achievement at SDIT (Islamic Elementary School) Wihdatul Ummah Makassar. This research are qualitative research. Data obtained from informants that consisted of head master of SDIT Wihdatul Ummah Makassar, head master of SMP Islam Terpadu Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar, clasroom teachers of 1A1, 1A2, 1B1, and 1B2, and shadow teacher of 1A2 and 1B2, as well as documentation from the school. Data processing was performed with data reduction, data display, and verification data. The results showed that implementation of multiple intelligences learning approach at SDIT Wihdatul Ummah Makassar could improve the students’ achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, dan motivasi terhadap terhadap kinerja guru dan mengetahui variabel yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMAN 4 Makassar. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 65 guru SMAN 4 Makassar. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru sedangkan pengalaman kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMAN 4 Makassar. Variabel pendidikan mempunyai pengaruh paling dominan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru This research aimed to analyze education influence, work experience and motivation toward teacher’s performance in SMAN (Senior High School) 4 Makassar and to determine dominant variabel had influenced teacher’s performance in SMAN 4 Makassar. The population of this research were all of the teacher’s in SMAN 4 Makassar as many as sixty five person. The technique of data analysis used double linier regression with SPSS version 21 program. The result of this research showed that education and motivation had influence toward teacher’s performance. Education variabel had the most dominant influence in improving teacher’s perfomance in SMAN 4 Makassar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan hal yang mendasari mahasiswa masuk organisasi ekstra kampus, menggambarkan bagaimana mahasiswa menyikapi perkembangan isu-isu keagamaan, dan mengetahui sejauhmana sikap mahasiswa menyikapi sebuah perbedaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskritif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya variasi pemikiran keagamaan yang terlibat dalam organisasi PMII, HMI, dan IMDI, baik dari segi ideologi yang mendasari mereka masuk organisasi ekstra, maupun dalam menyikapi perkembangan isu-isu keagamaan, serta sikap mereka dalam menyikapi sebuah perbedaan. This research aimed to describe the things that underlie the students who entered the extra campus organization, to describe how the student to address the development issues of religion, and to know how far the attitude of students in addressing a difference. Type of the research is descriptive qualitative. The research results have found that their variations of religious thought are involved in the organization PMII, HMI, and IMDI came from their ideology that underlied their involvement in extra campus organization, as well as in addressing the development of religious issues and the differences
