Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the effect of applying classroom rules in participation in teaching students in grades 5 (2) Determine the level of success of the effect of applying classroom rules in participation in teaching students in grades 5 Classroom rules are a set of rules which help organize learning activities, not just a routine or habit but in practice is also based on a standard that will have a positive impact on student behavior both in learning and everyday attitudes. This type of research is experimental research with research design Quasi Experimental Design. Instruments data collection using questionnaires, observations and interviews. Hypothesis testing using t-test and two independent samples t-test two different paired sample with SPSS 16.0. The results showed that: (1) the results of pre-test and post-test participation learning experimental class increased after applying classroom rules is higher than pre-test participation study before applying classroom rules with an average participation of learning by 52 904 and the average after applying classroom learning participation rules amounted to 55 761; (2) Participation of higher learning experimental class of classes controls (t = 2.342> ttabel 5% = 2,021). Thus the application of classroom rules affect the increased participation of student learning. Application of the rules Clasroom done optimally will affect the formation of character and the effect on student achievement.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine how large the discrepancy between the ideal condition and the implementation of 2013 curriculum in teaching and learning process in SD Negeri 4 Kaliuntu reviewed from the lesson plan and teaching learning process. This research was evaluative research which apply discrepancy model. Measurement of the program effectiveness was done by comparing the ideal conditions, based on Permendikbud No. 103 of 2014, with the real conditions on the implementation of 2013 Curriculum at SD Negeri 4 Kaliuntu. Lesson plan data, was measured by the study documentation methode. Meanwhile, the teaching and learning process data was measured by observation methode. Subject of this research consisted of 6 teachers of SD Negeri 4 Kaliuntu. The data scores was form for all variables were analyzed by using the Wilcoxon’s signed rank test. The sign difference and score difference were calculated with a predetermined standard. The result of the analysis indicate that the large of discrepancy between ideal conditions (based on Permendikbud No. 103 of 2014) and the implementation of 2013 Curriculum in SD Negeri 4 Kaliuntu in terms of lesson plan is 12,17%. The discrepancy lies on indicators of learning activities, assessment of learning result, media and learning resources. Reviewed from the teaching learning process, the discrepancy occurs at 19.17%. The discrepancy occurs in the indicator of giving apperception, convey of evaluation techniques that will be used by teachers, students are directed reflection of the activities that have been implemented, and the provision of follow-up by giving remedial, enrichment, or giving assignments.

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is the lack of class V student learning result Christian Elementary School 04 Salatiga Eben Haezer. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes using learning model Think Pair Share technique Gallery Walk. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: action planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of this study showed an increase in the value of student learning outcomes with minimal completeness criteria (KKM) is ≥70. It can be seen from the students prior to action, of 25 fifth grade students there are only 11 students who achieve the KKM with a percentage of 44%. Then the action on the first cycle to 20 students who achieve the KKM with a percentage of 80%. In the second cycle of learning outcomes is increasing, reaching the KKM 25 students with a percentage of 100%. So it can be concluded that the use of the learning model Think Pair Share with Gallery Walk techniques to improve learning outcomes in social studies.

Abstract

In real conditions of PPkn learning in class VIII E SMPN 6 Salatiga, the teachers only use the lecture method in the delivery of teaching materials and students are passive, so based on the results of the evaluation, there were 19 students (67.85%) have not yet reached Minimum Completeness Criteria ≥76. Based on these problems, its were need to be repaired by Learning model examples of non examples to improve PPKn learning outcomes in class VIII E. Classroom action research is conducted in two cycles and each cycle is carried out through planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were 28 students of class VIII E as the research subject. Methods of data collection are documentation, observation, and test. Technique of data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis by comparing the percentage of completeness PPKn learning outcomes before and after the action in cycle 1 and cycle 2. Indicator of research success is learning outcomes corresponding completed PPKn Minimum Completeness Criteria ≥76 achieved to 85% of all students. Result of study shows that increasing outcome of PPKN learning after using examples of non examples learning model. Prior to the act of learning, there were only 9 students (32.15%), which reached Minimum Completeness Criteria ≥ 76, increased to 19 students (67.85%) in cycle 1 and 25 students (89.29%) in the second cycle after the act of learning. Based on the results of this study concluded that using of non examples examples learning model can improve outcomes of PPKn learning in class VIII E SMPN 6 Salatiga.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining significant differences between the Civics learning outcomes of the students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of concrete objects and students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of abstract objects. This study is a pre-experiment (pre-experimental design) with the design of the study was the Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was the students of grade V SDN 4 Ubung Denpasar, in the academic year 2014/2015, amounting to 60 people. The samples were taken by using random sampling techniques. The data in the form of the value of Civics learning outcomes were collected with the usual multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that there were differences between the Civics learning outcomes of students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of concrete objects and students who took a scientific approach based on learning through portfolio assessment in terms of abstract objects with t = 2.29, t table with 5% level of significance and db = 58, obtained t table at 2.00. This meant that tobserved > ttable (2.29> 2.00). Based on these results, it could be concluded that the scientific approach based on a portfolio assessment in terms of the object being observed on the theme of the history of civilization of Indonesia influenced the learning outcomes of Civics of the students grade V in SDN 4 Ubung Denpasar.
