Abstract

The low interest of students in counseling and guidance services can be seen from the lack of students who come by themselves in the room for guidance and counseling. The problem examined in this study is how the active role of teacher guidance and counseling on the interest of guidance and counseling services in class VIII D of SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru. So the purpose of this study is to find out how much the active role of teachers is guidance and counseling on the interest of counseling and counseling services for class VIII D of SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru. This research method is to use Qualitative methods. The research subjects in this study amounted to ten students of class VIII D. Data collection methods in this study used, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that class VIII D students in SMP Negeri 3 Banjarbaru have a pretty good interest in counseling and guidance services carried out in their schools, but these students do not take advantage of existing services because of lack of motivation or self-desire to use the service. So that the active role of teacher guidance and counseling in handling this is to provide motivation to students so that the guidance given to students has an impact on good change. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of self-confidence of students before the Cogntive Behavior Therapy CBT approach at STATE 1 Lucky New Middle School. The design of this study uses quantitative research methods with the type of experimental research. Experimental research is defined as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The reason the researchers used this type of research, because it uses treatment (treatment) carried out by researchers. The experimental design used in this study is Pre-experimental designs, because there are still external variables that influence the formation of the dependent variable or self-confidence. The form of experimental design used by researchers was with one-group pretest-posttest. The results showed the level of self-confidence of students in STATE 1 Lucky New Middle School before treatment with the Cogntive Behavior Therapy CBT approach with a low pretest score. The level of confidence of students in STATE 1 Lucky Middle School after being treated with the Cogntive Behavior Therapy approach to CBT with an average result of a high posttest score. The Influence of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) on increasing self confidence in New Lucky 1 Middle School students. Based on the Wilcoxon Asymp test results. Sig 0.042 <0.05, the results of this study Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) have an effect on the increase in confidence in New Lucky 1 Middle School students. Abstract

This research was carried out based on the phenomenon that occurred in MAN 1 Banjarmasin lack of discipline in these students quite happened in school, students who were late coming to school, dressed not according to the rules, often did not go to school and this is often complained by subject teachers and teachers other teacher. In this case it is necessary to involve teachers in guidance and counseling in dealing with students who are less disciplined. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to improve student discipline and whether the teacher's guidance and counseling strategies will be used in improving student discipline. The objectives to be achieved in this study want to know the teacher's guidance and counseling strategies and what strategies will be used. This research was conducted by interviewing all the guidance and counseling teachers in MAN 1 Banjarmasin as informants. The method used was qualitative method. The conclusion was that the guidance and counseling teacher had a strategy in improving student discipline because the guidance and counseling teacher or commonly called counselor had responsibility full in improving student discipline. Guidance and counseling teachers choose individual counseling strategies because specifically personal counseling between a counselor and students. In this individual counseling it is expected that the counselee can change attitudes, self-decisions so that students can better adapt themselves and the surrounding community. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is based on preliminary observations at SMP Negeri 14 Banjarmasin, there are students in schools who do not apply the discipline attitude in the school environment. It was known from students who arrived late at school, dressed not according to the rules, did not go to school without information, went out during class hours, chatting with friends during class hours, neglecting schoolwork and this was often complained by other subject teachers. The formulation of the problem in this study is how much the level of discipline of students before or after being given services and whether group guidance services with role playing techniques are influential to reduce students who lack discipline. This study aims to find out how much the level of discipline of students before and after being given services and knowing group guidance services with role playing techniques can have an effect on improving student discipline. This research method uses quantitative pre-experiment. The population in this study was class VIIIA with a total of 33 students. The results of student discipline before the group guidance service with role playing techniques from the initial test (O1) and the final test (O2) are said to increase student discipline because the value of posttest is higher than the pretest. Thus the researchers concluded that group guidance services were effective in increasing the discipline of class VIIIA students in SMP Negeri 14 Banjarmasin. Abstract

The background of this study is that there are still problems with the aggressive behavior of students, especially class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Banjarmasin. For this reason, BK needs to be handled by competent teachers according to Law No. 111 of 2014 to be able to form students into the generation of hope of the nation according to Law No. 20 of 2003. The purpose of this study is to find out the services that are carried out and find out the obstacles experienced when running a program of guidance and counseling services in the formation of a personality that has a moral character to handle students' aggressive behavior. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. The research subject was the teacher of BK 32 SMP Negeri Banjarmasin. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the guidance and counseling service program at Banjarmasin State Middle School 32 has had an impact on the formation of the personality of students who have moral character. So that individual counseling services provided by counseling teachers to students who have aggressive behavioral problems are able to make better changes in these students. Suggestions from this study are as BK teachers need to understand the root causes of each student's problem, then need to understand correctly the meaning of personality (in Islam). And the school must pay attention to the guidance and counseling program in it so that it is implemented properly.   Keywords: Guidance and Counseling Services, Personality, Morals, and Aggressive Behavior

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling aims to help improve the quality of students, assuming to improve the quality of graduation, both in quality and quantity. Management in this study covers activities: planning (planing), organizing (organizing), preparation of personnel (stafing), direction and leadership (leading) and supervision (controling).The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. A qualitative approach is a research process and understanding that is based on methodologies that investigate social phenomena and human problems.The results of the study were Factual Guidance Management and Counseling Conditions Based on Interviews with Principals: Guidance Program Planning and Counseling Organizing Guidance and Counseling Programs, Preparation of Guidance and Counseling, Guidance and Leadership Guidance and Angkinang Counseling, Supervision and evaluation of Guidance and Counseling Evaluation in Public Middle Schools 1 Angkinang Factual Condition of Guidance and Counseling Management Based on Interviews with Guidance Guidance and Planning Counseling Guidance and Counseling Program Organizing Guidance and Counseling in Obstacles in organizing guidance and counseling, Guidance Preparation Guidance and Guidance and Guidance Counseling and Counseling Guidance Evaluation and Counseling Evaluation in Middle School Negeri 1 AngkinangConclusions in the study: Guidance and counseling planning was made at the beginning of the school year, involving all authorized staff, organizing Guidance and Counseling in its management effectively, arranging guidance and counseling personnel carried out alternately in accordance with the capabilities of the person. by the principal, where supervision is carried out by the principal and special supervisor of the education office with provisions that are adjusted to their needs, and assessment of guidance and counseling in accordance with the performance carried out by the supervising teacher, if the performance is good.
