Abstract

Saturation of learning is something that must be felt by students. Students often experience the name saturation in learning. This problem needs to be overcome so that students are not lazy in achieving what they have aspired to. This type of research uses a type of qualitative research which This study aims: (1) To find out whether by conducting group counseling can overcome student problems in dealing with learning boredom. (2) To find out how effective the results are after students conduct group counseling. The subjects of this study were students where the researcher collected eight students as samples to carry out the group counseling process about boredom in learning. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The results and discussion are how to prevent students from getting bored in doing learning by using group counseling services as a solution. Group counseling activities are able to provide the right choices and results to anticipate and prevent learning saturation for these students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether group counseling services improved the attitudes of MAN 1 MEDAN students toward discipline. This study uses a survey method. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. In qualitative research, researchers use data to answer questions or leave it up to interpretation. Careful observation, detailed contextual descriptions, extensive interview transcripts, and analysis of documents and records all contributed to data collection. The reconnaissance was directed at MAN 1 MEDAN located at Jalan William Iskandar No.7 B, Sidoarjo, Medan Tembun District, Medan City. The meeting will take place from Thursday to Saturday, October 20- 22, 2022 in the Orientation and Counseling Room (BK). At Madrasah Ariya Negri 1 Medan, I spoke with his counseling teacher and learned about his group counseling. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the MAN 1 MEDAN student group counseling service. MAN 1 MEDAN uses group counseling techniques to solve problems.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find out and describe the level of self-efficacy in compiling a thesis for Guidance and Counseling students of the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA Class of 2018. Research methods are quantitative methods with a quantitative descriptive type of research. The study population was 169 people. The sample was 157 people. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. The validity test yielded 45 items out of 50 items using the person product moment. Reliability calculation using Alpha Cronbach using IBM SPSS 2.5 with research results of rac 0.949 > 0.6 is reliable. The results of the research conducted on the level of self-efficacy in Guidance and Counseling students of the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA class of 2018 obtained a score of 22136 which was at a high categorization level. The results of the study from respondents, as many as 58 students had a very high self-efficacy rate of 37%, 86 students had a high self-efficacy rate of 55%, 10 students had a moderate self-efficacy rate of 6%, 3 students had a low self-efficacy rate of 2%

Abstract

As technology develops, it has various kinds of impact on social media. Instagram social media is very much in demand by the whole community, especially teenagers. Teenagers start to feel confident because of the instagram filter that makes the face look more beautiful and handsome so that teenagers can upload photos and videos from the filter results. Esharaghi et.al say, self-confidence is a combination of one’s attitudes and beliefs in dealing with tasks or work that are internal, very relative and dynamic and largely determined by their ability to initiate, carry out, and complete a job. Self-confidence will affect ideas, intentions, initiatives, creativity, courage, perseverance, enthusiasm to work and enthusuasm to work. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the role of instagram filters in shaping adolescent self confidence. The method used in the study is a qualitative method using interview techniques and field observations. Subjects in this study amounted to 19 people. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers that the role of instagram filters in shaping the selfconfidence of adolescents at UIN North Sumatra. The conclusion given in this study is that a filter can form and increase self-confidence in society, especially in adolescents. The advice that can be given is self-confidence in teenagers, not only because of the instagram filter but also because of publik speaking.

Abstract

This study discusses how students' learning attitudes develop in a positive direction through role-playing technique group guidance services. The aim of the study was to see whether or not the role playing technique group guidance service was significant to changes in student learning attitudes from the aspect of students' views of teachers (teacher approval/ta). The research method used is the experimental method, namely research that aims to see changes in students' learning attitudes in terms of the aspects of students' views of the teacher (teacher approval/ta ) with group guidance services using role playing techniques. The type of design used in this research is a Quasi-Experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The topics discussed in the role-playing technique group guidance service are viewed from the perspective of students' views of teachers. The results of the study indicate that there are significant changes in students' learning attitudes towards a better direction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how Guidance and Counseling teachers build awareness of religious moderation in the school environment. In this study using interpersonal communication, qualitative descriptive with a case study approach, and data collection techniques, namely by interview techniques. The results of the study found that counseling communication strategies in internalizing religious moderation in schools can be applied by socializing to each locale, providing information services with interpersonal communication, providing Group Guidance Services to students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore, identify and relate the consumptive behavior experienced by students with their living cost (monthly allowance), lifestyle and conformity behavior. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Where to find out the presentation of consumptive behavior of students who are still actively studying at their chosen university in continuing their studies. The steps taken in this research are collecting, classifying and analyzing or processing data, making conclusions and reports with the main aim of making an objective description of a situation in a description. The population used in this study, namely students who are still actively studying from various universities. The sample used was 100 students using the Probability Sampling technique. The measurement scale in this study uses a Likert scale. From the results of the study, there are several obstacles in its implementation but can be resolved properly. Students are expected to be smarter and more selective in spending money in purchasing an item, if the item is only of aesthetic value, it is better to think about it before buying it so that it can be used for other things in their daily needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the effectiveness of the counseling teacher in terms of the educational background of the counseling teacher. This is done because many counseling teachers have non-counseling education backgrounds. The type of research conducted is qualitive research, where the results of the research are stated in oral from. Data collection was carried out using literature studies. The results of this study are that counseling teachers who have a non-S1 counseling background are also able to provide effective counseling services for their counselees if the counseling teacher is willing to learn about the abilities that a counselor must have.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the validity and reliability of the academic stress instrument developed by Sun, Dunne, & Hou (2011). This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses the probability sampling method, namely cluster random sampling. The population in this study were students at the elementary, junior high school, senior high school,vocational school, and students with an age range of 12-19 years. The academic stress instrument has 16 favorable statement items. This scale uses a Likert scale model which has 5 alternative answers. The five alternative answers are Strongly Disagree (STS), Disagree (TS), Enough, Agree (S), Strongly Agree (SS). The results showed that 16 items were declared valid with an r count > 0.195 and an alpha reliability of 0.036.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significance of the relationship between workload and work fatigue and the significance of the relationship between working hours and work fatigue of employees of CV. Jaya Manunggal Garmen. This type of research is correlational in order to determine the relationship between workload variables and work hours variables with work fatigue variables. The population in this study were 45 employees of CV. Jaya Manunggal Garmen. The sample was taken using total sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a scale and the data were analyzed using Kendall's tau_b technique. The research results obtained that there is a significant relationship between workload and employee fatigue with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value which shows the number 0.612. Furthermore, it was also found that there was a significant relationship between working hours and employee fatigue, as evidenced by a significance result of 0.000 <0.05 with a correlation coefficient value which shows the number 0.602
