Abstract

Tulisan ini menguraikan beberapa temuan berkaitan dengan hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh guru BK dalam melaksanakan Aplikasi Instrumentasi di sekolah ditinjau dari faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun luar diri Guru BK serta upaya mengentaskan hambatan-hambatan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa ada beberapa hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh Guru BK yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun dari luar diri dengan persentase sub aspek diatas rata-rata aspek. Serta upaya dalam yang dilakukan Guru BK dalam mengentaskan hambatan-hambatan tersebut sudah baik dengan angka rata-rata sub aspek diatas angka rata-rata aspek.

Abstract

The research was backgrounded by still low level of the learning motivation of students. The self-concept and parental support suspectted to affect the learning motivation of students. This research aims to describe : (1) the self-concepts, (2) parental support, (3) learning motivation of students, (4) the contribution of the self-concept toward the learning motivation of students, (5) the parental support contributions toward the learning motivation of students, and (6) the contribution of self-concept and parental support together against to the learning motivation of students. This study used a descriptive correlational quantitative method. The population of this research was students of SMA Negeri 8 Padang in class XI and XII which totaled 464 people. The number of samples are 215 people, selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale. Results validity and reliability of the instrument self-concept, parental support, and learning motivation of student stated that valid and reliable research instruments. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, simple regression, and multiple regression. The findings showed that: (1) the average description of self-concepts are in positive category, (2) an average description of parental support are in high category, (3) description of the learning motivation of students are in high category, (4) there is contribution of self-concept toward the learning motivation of students by 24.2%, (5) there is contribution of parental support toward the learning motivation of students by 18.8%, and (6) there are contributions of self-concept and parental support together toward the learning motivation of students amounted to 30.7%. Implications of the research results can be used as input to create a program of guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

Adolescent is one of the stages in human life that is very critical, because it is a stage of transition from childhood to adulthood. At this stage a lot of changes occur in adolescents, such as physical, emotional and social changes. This period of change is commonly referred to as the period of puberty. The puberty period is also considered an overlapping period because it covers the final years of the childhood period and the early years of the teenage period. Changes experienced by adolescents in the puberty period are often troubling because the various changes that occur are considered as a very disturbing clumsiness. As good puberty teenagers, they are expected to understand the physical, emotional and social changes they experience. School counselors have a large role in helping students deal with periods of puberty. This role is reflected in the counseling guidance service provided to help students deal with the period of puberty so that giving birth to a good assessment of the puberty teenager on the changes they experience and puberty teenagers will have a positive self-concept in their lives. Guidance and counseling services provided by school counselors in helping students deal with periods of puberty cannot be done alone. Requires cooperation in the collaborative paradigm in implementing it. The implementation of guidance and counseling services with the collaboration paradigm enables counselors to use other resources to support the implementation of services

Abstract

This Research is triggered by low  of students’ learning motivation. The purpose of This Research are to: 1) describe students’ learning motivation of female gender, 2) describe students’ learning motivation of male gender, and 3) Differences students’ learning motivation of female gender and male gender. This research used a descriptive differencial quantitative method. The population of this research were X, XI, and XII grade of SMK Swasta Bandung 1 & 2 which totally 240 students. The sample of this research were 150 students, that selected by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. In this research, the researcher used scale as the instrument. The result of validity and reliability of students’ learning motivation state that the instrument of this research was valid and reliable. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and t-test. The finding of this research are: 1) on avarage students’ learning motivation of female gender are in high category, 2) on avarage students’ learning motivation of male gender are in high category, 3) there were significant differences between students’ learning motivation of female gender and male gender. Keyword : Learning Motivation, Male, Female

Abstract

The learning system regularly undergoes changes that require instructors and learners to utilize electronic media and online networks to carry out the learning process, with the hope that learning can be more productive. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of learning that combine conventional methods and online methods, as well as see their effectiveness in laboratory-based courses. This study used 165 students as a sample and 15 students as participants for semi-structured interviews. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and interviews. The research findings show that students' perceptions of blended learning in the effective category and active blended learning contribute to students in learning. The findings of this study can be input in improving the quality of learning in higher education and improving graduate achievement

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari komunikasi sehari-hari. Ketika bertemu secara langsung di depan umum, manusia tidak bisa lepas dari kebutuhanannya terhadap komunikasi baik secara lisan, tertulis atau lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan kajian kepustakaan atau library reserch baik dalam bentuk hardfile maupun softfile. Melalui kajian kepustakaan yang dilakukan penulis dapat mengetahui bahwasanya public speaking telah berkembang menjadi keterampilan yang sangat penting, bukan hanya keterampilan komunikasi dalam kehidupan individu tapi juga sosial. Karena pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan mahasiswa juga perlu memperoleh keterampilan public speaking untuk meningkatkan integritas mahsiswa. Salah satu cara untuk meningkakan rasa pecaya diri pada kemampuan public speaking pada mahasiswa dapat dilakukan dengan konsultasi kelompok yang dapat memberikan Informasi tentang peningkatan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dalam kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa..

Abstract

Abstrak : Kepercayaan diri memiliki peran penting untuk menjadi pendorong dalam kesuksesan setiap orang. Percaya diri adalah sikap yang penuh dengan keyakinan atas kemampuan diri sendiri dan menerima diri sendiri dengan segala kelebihan dan kekurangan yang ada. Percaya diri dapat menimbulkan sikap-sikap positif dalam diri, maka rasa percaya diri perlu ditingkatkan pada diri remaja melalui perspektif Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri remaja di Panti Asuhan Puteri Aisyiyah Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Dalam mengumpulkan data, peneliti juga melakukannya melalui angket yang dikembangkan sendiri. Hasil dari penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konseling kelompok berdasarkan perspektif Islam dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pada remaja di Panti Asuhan Puteri Aisyiyah Medan. Penerapan konseling kelompok telah dilakukan melalui bentuk nilai-nilai Islam, sehingga para remaja dapat menunjukkan keberanian yang dimiliki dengan memperlihatkan kemampuan-kemampuannya dalam membaca al-Qur’an dan berpidato.
