Abstract

Composites are one of material be used in engineering field. This is due the composites has light weight and relatively strong properties. The synthesis fiber-based composites reduces to obtain environmental friendly properties. This research use hybrid fiber which consist of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) powder and bagasse fiber. Matrix used is resin polyester. Variation of volume fraction between bagasse and calcium carbonate powder are 10:20, 15:15 and 20:10 respectively. Volume fraction of hybrid fiber and polyester is 30:70. This study aims to determine mechanical properties of hybrid composites for each variation of volume fraction. Test results showed. Bending strength of bagasse-based hybrid composites and powder of calcium carbonate with a variation of volume fraction of 10%: 20%, 15%: 15% and 20%: 10% are 53.77 MPa, 54.90 MPa and 59.76 MPa. Hybrid composites with volume fraction 20% bagasse and 10% calcium carbonate powder has highest of bending strength. Green composite based bagasse and calcium carbonate powder can use on application of vehicle body.Komposit merupakan salah satu material yang banyak digunakan pada bidang keteknikan. Ini dikarenakan komposit memiliki sifat ringan dan relatif kuat. Untuk mendapakatkan sifat yang ramah lingkungan, penggunaan komposit yang berbasis serat sintesis dikurangi penggunaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan serat hibrid yaitu penggabungan antara serbuk kalsium karbonat (CaCO3) dan serat ampas tebu (bagasse). Matrix yang digunakan adalah resin polyester.Variasi fraksi volume antara bagasse dan serbuk kalsium karbonat masing-masing adalah 10:20, 15:15 dan 20:10. Fraksi volume antara serat hibrid dan resin polyester adalah 30:70. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat mekanik dari komposit hibrid berbasis bagasse dan serbuk kalsium karbonat untuk masing-masing variasi fraksi volume. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwakekuatan bending tertinggi komposit hibrid berbasis bagasse dan serbuk kalsium karbonat adalah fraksi volumeserat 20% bagasse dan 10% serbuk kalsium karbonat yang mempunyai kekuatan bending sebesar 59.76 MPa. Kekuatan bending dari komposit hibrid berbasis bagasse dan serbuk kalsium karbonatdengan variasi fraksi volume 10% : 20%, 15% : 15% dan 20% : 10% adalah 53.77 MPa, 54.90 MPa dan 59.76 MPa.Komposit ramah lingkungan berbasis serat ampas tebu dan serbuk kaslium karbonat dapat diaplikasikan pada bodi kendaraan

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to isolate and identify yeast producing Indole-3-acetic acid from rhizosphere of terrestrial orchid Pecteilis susannae (L.) Rafin. This research commenced with the isolation of yeasts from rhizosphere of orchid P. susannae using Yeast Malt Agar (YMA) medium. Yeast isolates were selected based on growth experiment on Glucose Peptone Broth (GPB) supplemented with 200 µg/mL L-tryptophan. The IAA concentration was determined colorimetrically on spectrophotometer (OD530 nm) with Salkowsky’s reagent added to supernatant of yeast culture. Biomass (OD600 nm) and IAA production (OD530 nm) measured every 24 hours for 4 days. Identification of selected isolates carried out through macroscopic, microscopic, and biochemical properties. The results revealed that 29 isolates of yeast had been successfully isolated from rhizosphere of terrestrial orchid P. susannae (L.) Rafin, and only four isolates (K2, U5, A3 and A1) showed their capability to grow and produce high concentration of IAA on GPB. The fourth selected yeast isolates were identified as strain Saccharomyces sp.1 (K2), Saccharomyces sp.2 (U5), Cryptococcus sp.1 (A3), and Candida sp.1 (A1). Further evaluation of the selected rhizosphere yeast isolated producing IAA is necessary to be carried out to explore their potency as a source of hormone to promote plant growth.

Abstract

AbstractX-ray interaction with matter can produce phenomenon of fluorescence that emits visible light. This phenomenon was exploited to design an x-ray detector based on phototransistor by attaching a screen ZnS(Ag) on the surface of the phototransistor which is arraponged in a Darlington circuit. Detection of active region of detector was done by collimating of x-rays beam from the x-ray generator tube Philips 2000 watts, 60 kV type PW 2215/20 NR 780 026 and measure the detector output voltage (Vout) at change in x-ray intensity . The experimental results showed that the Darlington circuit can be applied to design the detector of x-ray based on phototransistor. Sensitivity of detector used 0,037 mV and offset 130 mV.Keywords: Detector , Phototransistor , X-ray , Screen ZnS ( Ag ) AbstrakInteraksi sinar-x dengan materi dapat menghasilkan gejala fluoresensi yang mengemisikan cahaya tampak. Fenomena ini dimanfaatkan untuk merancang detektor sinar-x berbasis fototransitor dengan menempelkan layar pemendar ZnS(Ag) di permukaan fototransistor yang disusun dalam rangkaian Darlington. Pengukuran sensitivitas detektor dilakukan dengan langkah mengkolimasi berkas sinar-x dari tabung pembangkit sinar-x Philips 2000 watt, 60 kV tipe PW 2215/20 NR 780026 dan mengukur tegangan keluaran detektor (Vout) terhadap perubahan intensitas sinar-x. Berdasarkan hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa rangkaian Darlington dapat diterapkan untuk merancang detektor sinar-x berbasis fototransistor. Sensitivitas detektor didapatkan sebesar 0,037 mV dan gelinciran 130 mV.Kata kunci: Detektor, fototransistor, Sinar-X, Layar ZnS(Ag)

Abstract

Kebutuhan manusia akan data dan informasi tidak dapat dipungkiri. Begitu pentingnya peranan data dan informasi pada semua sektor kehidupan salah satunya di bidang pendidikan. Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam mengembangkan potensi sumber daya manusia secara optimal karena pendidikan merupakan sarana investasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan keahlian sebagai modal pembangunan. Jaringan syaraf tiruan dapat di gunakan dalam bidang pendidikan yaitu memprediksi nilai UN siswa di SMP Perti Padang. Jaringan syaraf tiruan yang berupa susunan sel-sel saraf tiruan (neuron) dibangun berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip organisasi otak manusia, selain itu jaringan saraf tiruan dapat untuk memprediksi jumlah pengangguran dengan cara pola data pengangguran periode masa lalu yang dimasukkan ke dalam sistem dilakukan proses pelatihan menggunakan jaringan saraf tiruan  dan algoritma pembelajaran backpropagation. Setiap pola-pola informasi input dan output yang diberikan ke dalam jaringan syaraf tiruan diproses dalam neorun. Neuron-neuron tersebut berkumpul didalam lapisan-lapisan yang disebut neuron layer.

Abstract

This study is based on interviews conducted with 3 breastfeeding mothers and the amount of milk her breast is little caused crying baby and mothers milk punting blisters. Meanwhile, two other women told her normal milk production. The mother said the lack of information that were made of treatments to improve the production of breast milk (ASI) and they do not know about  massage oxytocin to help increase milk production. This study aimed to observe the effect of oxytocin massage to increase milk production of breastfeeding mother in Plus Mandiangin Public Health Center Bukittinggi 2016. The study design using quasi experimental method, with the approach of one group pretest and posttest. Retrieving data using a questionnaire containing questions regarding milk production mother lactating. The research sample is 21 people who were in Plus Mandiangin Public Health Center Bukittinggi. In this study showed that there is a massage effect of oxytocin to increase milk production of breastfeeding mother in  Plus Mandiangin Public Health Center Bukittinggi 2016 with a p-value of 0.000. It was concluded that there is a massage effect of oxytocin to increase milk production of breastfeeding mother in Plus Mandiangin Public Health Center Bukittinggi 2016. It is expected that this study can be used as a therapy to increase milk production of breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pada pengamatan dan hasil pengolahan data secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan metakognitif memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran secara konvensional.
