The social inquiry is a learning method of social groups, a subgroup of community concepts. The stages of the social inquiry learning process can be carried out by following the steps, namely the stage of the observation, the stage of problem formulation, the stage of hypothesis formulation, the stage of data collection, the hypothesis testing stage, the stage of formulating conclusions. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of social inquiry methods in PPKn learning and describe the improvement in learning outcomes using the method of social inquiry of fourth-grade students at SDN Kamulan II. This research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) with a descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the results of observations on class IV students a number of 25 people in Kamulan II Elementary School obtained data that students do learning conventionally. Regular group discussion students. When the discussion was seen only 5 students were active working according to the teacher's instructions. The process of learning in the classroom is done only by listening to the teacher's explanation, working on the questions in the textbook or LKS then matching the answers closed with the teacher recapping the students' grades. Not yet seen students doing active learning, actively asking questions, directly involved in classroom learning. The teacher uses the lecture method and students are required to concentrate on what the teacher explains. However, only students who sat in the front row were able to concentrate listening to the teacher's explanation, while students who sat on the third bench to the back seemed to pretend to listen to the teacher's explanation. The results of the first cycle of classical class scores obtained by students on the skill of composing questions are 77. The average value of the success of the activities of the second cycle is 78. The average score of interviewing skills in the meeting of cycle III is 82, the value has reached the standard completeness planned by the researcher.

Abstract

This research is motivated by observations and experiences of researchers in taking the jump results without prefix carried out by male students of grade 3 in Islamic elementary schools. Based on the results of the jump, the value is far from the average jump ability of male students in grade 3 because the learning method is not maximal. The problem in this study is Is there an influence of gobak sodor and crank play on the explosive power of leg muscles? Are there differences in the results of leg muscle explosive power using the game Gobaksodor and Crank? This research is quantitative research because the results of the research are in the form of numbers. Research with Quasi Pre-Experiment Design using pretest and posttest design, the research instrument used observation on the Standing long jump test, and the subject of third-grade male students of Islamic Primary School with 81 students held for 1 month. From the results of the study, it was found that the average yield of the gobak sodor game pretest was 125 cm and the crank game was 124 cm. After being given treatment, the posttest results of the game of gobak sodor were 142 cm and the game of cranks was 141 cm, from the results it was obtained the difference in results from the game gobak sodor and engklek of 17 cm. And tested using a simultaneous test (F test) obtained a significance value of 482,674> 2, 72 F table which shows the influence of gobaks odor and crank play on the explosive power of limb muscles of third grade students of Islamic Elementary School, from the partial test (t-test) presented the result is 11,692> 1,66515 which shows the gobak sodor and crank game has its own influence. To find out the difference in results, an independent sample test was carried out so that the results obtained for t count for the independent variable were 0, 342> 0, 05. It was concluded that there were no differences in results using the game gobak sodor and crank. From the test results, it can be concluded that there are effects of sodor and crankshaft play on leg muscle explosive power and there is no difference in the results of leg muscle explosive power using gobak sodor and crank games in third grade male students of Islamic Elementary School in Gurah District, Kediri District 2017/2018 Academic Year.

Abstract

Students of class VIII F of SMP 7 Kediri find it difficult with the many memorization and intentions of learning Indonesian. Students also do not pay too much attention to the explanation from the teacher when in class. Add to the Indonesian language lesson schedule at the end of the lesson. This makes the concentration of students declining and not the enthusiasm for learning. From the data obtained by the researchers, the average daily test scores of class VIII F students of Kediri Junior High School 7 only reached 74.4 or still below the determined KKM. The researcher chooses a learning method Survey, Question, Read, Recite and Review. The SQ3R method is an excellent reading method for intensive and rational reading purposes. The learning step for the SQ3R method is that the teacher asks students to observe or identify the entire text. Students are asked to arrange questions that are relevant to the text. The teacher guides students to find the main ideas and answers to the questions that have been made in the second step. Students mention, students review all questions and answers briefly. Teachers and students make conclusions together. The success of this study can be seen from the increase in student learning achievement up to 75% with a minimum KKM value of 78. The results of the increase can be seen from the data as follows: pre-cycle 53%; first cycle 69%; second cycle 81%. These results are said to be successful because they have exceeded the indicator of research success of 75%. The increase results can be seen from the average value of students as follows: pre-cycle 74.4; first cycle79,1; second cycle 82.2. These results are said to be successful because they have exceeded the indicator of success.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes articulate what students must know or can do after completing learning. A good test instrument can help teachers improve learning and provide accurate information to students who have not or have achieved competency based on goals. This study aims to see to what extent the implementation of self-development workshops can improve teacher competency in the preparation of items at SMAN 1 Montong Gading. This study is action research on the subject of all 24 subject teachers. The teacher is divided into groups with the same learning eyes. The self-development workshop was carried out in 2 cycles with each stage namely the planning stage, the implementation phase, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of the study showed an increase in each cycle if reviewed from before the implementation of the self-development workshop in all aspects. This point shows that the ability of teachers to compile items before the workshop is still in the less category in the aspect of conformity with learning objectives, only 16.7%, experiencing an increase in the first cycle to 33.3%, in the second cycle to 58.3%. In the aspect of conformity with aspects of behavior there is an increase from before the workshop was held with a percentage of 20.8% to 75% in the cycle, while in the aspect of use that also experienced an increase from before the workshop was held in the amount of 45.8% to 79.1% in the cycle II.

Abstract

This innovative work is the result of a modified learning media to reject bullets using bullets made of wax. From the results of the implementation of learning it can be concluded that the use of bullet wax learning media is safe for students, fun and easy to duplicate. From the results of these innovations, it is recommended for physical education teachers who have not carried out bulletproof learning activities because the field conditions are not possible, so they can use wax bullets as a substitute medium, and this has been proven in class VII-C SMP 3 Kediri first semester 2015/2016 in learning to shoot bullets using wax bullets can run safely, smoothly and not damage the environment.
