Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses transfer pengetahuan yang ada di Perpustakaan Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Pendekatan studi kasus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kejadian sebenarnya dari aktivitas pustakawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses sosialisasi di Perpustakaan Kemenkumham terjadi melalui diskusi pustakawan dan pimpinan. Proses eksternalisasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan pustakawan yang dituangkan ke dalam bentuk baru. Proses kombinasi dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan, mentransfer atau menyebarkan, dan mengolah informasi maupun pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari tahap eksternalisasi ke dalam laporan tahunan. Proses internalisasi di Perpustakaan Kemenkumham belum optimal dilakukan dikarenakan pustakawan masih berfokus pada kegiatan pengolahan perpustakaan. Namun dalam hal ini, dokumen laporan tersebut dapat menjadi pengetahuan baru bagi pustakawan maupun organisasi. Hambatan yang ada di Perpustakaan Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia yaitu pada sumber daya manusia dan anggaran untuk kegiatan perpustakaan seperti workshop maupun pelatihan yang dapat menjadi media promosi perpustakaan. Transfer pengetahuan di Perpustakaan Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, eksternalisasi, kombinasi, dan internalisasi.ABSTRACTThis paper aims to know how the knowledge transfer process runs in the Library of Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The method used in this paper is qualitative research were taken through interviews, observation and documentation studies. A case study approach is used on this paper by seeing reality from librarian activites. The results of this paper indicate that socialization in the Kemenkumham Library occurs through discussion of librarians and the leaders. Externalization is carried out through librarian activities which are poured into new forms. Combination is done by collecting, transferring or disseminating, and processing information and knowledge obtained from the externalization stage into the annual report. Internalization has not yet been optimized because librarians are still focusing on library processing activities. Moreover, the report documents can become new knowledges for librarians and organizations. The existing obstacles in knowledge transfer process in Kemenkumham Library are in human resources and the budget for library activities such as holding workshops and training activities that can be a media for library promotion. Knowledge Transfer  in the Library of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights are carried out through a process of socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology applied to libraries in the Z generation era. The research method used study of literature by collecting several reference as sources that are relevant to the study material and and interviews with several generation Z informants. The results of the study found that the implementation of Augmented Reality technology can be used to create and read the Interactive Opac Brochure with AR; Utilization of Library Collection Display; Utilization for Searching Library Collections in Shelves through AR; Utilization for Interactive Learning Media for Users. While the implementation of Virtual Reality technology can be used for tours or library tours; Library Services; Information Literacy and Online Catalog.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the quality of library services STIE Ekuitas Bandung. Service quality is seen based on the comparison between the services received by users and their expectations of library services. The scope of the research is on aspects of the attitude of officers (librarians) in serving (Affect of Service), access to information (Information Control), and the library as a place. The method used is a survey with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and literature studies. The population of this research is the library members totaling 1594 students. By using non-probability sampling techniques and Yamane sample calculation formula obtained a number of 99 respondents. Data analysis uses the LibQual™ Model by measuring the gaps of services received and services expected by users. Based on the results of the study note that the average service quality is at the tolerance limit. This means that the STIE Ekuitas Bandung Library service received by users is considered quite good by users, which is above the minimum expected number. Another finding is that the library is still not maximal in providing superior services, namely services that are in accordance with the maximum expectations desired by the user.

Abstract

This study discusses the Management of Internal Inactive Records in the Banyuasin District Library and Archives Service. This study aims to determine how the management of internal inactive records in the Banyuasin District Library and Archives Service, as well as any obstacles encountered in managing the internal inactive records and their coping efforts at the Banyuasin District Library and Archives Service. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The data collection methods in this research are in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation. Information in this research is, one Head of Archive Management Division, one Head of Dynamic Records Management Section and one Manager of Household Infrastructure and Services. The results of this study indicate that the process of managing internal inactive records in the Banyuasin District Library and Archives Service has implemented a life cycle or record life cycle manually. In addition, it has also implemented semi-automation, namely by applying the transfer of archive media. The constraints faced in managing the internal inactive records are Human Resources / Archivists who are lacking, have not carried out annihilation, and have not re-used the automation system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of the spread of sex education information with the behavior of parents in explaining about sex in adolescents. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables, namely the dissemination of information which includes aspects of communicators, messages and media and the dependent variable, namely the behavior of parents in explaining sex education. The location of the study was conducted in Banjurpassar Village which is one of the village areas in the coastal area of Kebumen Regency. The approach used in this study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. The population in this study are parents who participated in counseling about sex education provided by the District Health Office, Kebumen. As for the technique of sampling, it uses simple random sampling technique. The data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires, interviews, observations and through library studies. As for the analysis of data using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing it is known that for minor hypotheses it is known that all aspects tested, namely the communicator, message and media aspects have a significant relationship with the behavior of parents in providing sex education to adolescents, so in general based on Maior hypothesis testing it can be said that the dissemination activities information about sex education has a significant relationship with the ability of parents to explain about sex in their teenage children. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the dissemination of information about sex education through counseling activities to parents is very effective in explaining about sex in young children.

Abstract

The Center for Library and Distribution of Agricultural Technology is one of the special libraries that manages rare library materials, namely antiquariat library materials. Antiquariat library material is a rare library from the Dutch colonial era which contains information about agriculture. Antiquariat library materials require special handling to preserve existing information, this conservation process is called the Preservation process. Preservation is a way to preserve library materials which is not only physical preservation but also includes preservation of information contained therein. Preservation is an effort so that the information contained therein can still be accessed and prevented from extinction. This study uses a qualitative approach, with more emphasis on the way of description in expressing the phenomena experienced by research subjects. As for the subjects of the study are the Library and Agricultural Technology Dissemination of Bogor City. The object under study is the preservation process carried out by the Central Library and Distribution of Agricultural Technology in preserving antiquariat library materials. The results of this study indicate that the preservation process carried out by the Central Library and Distribution of Agricultural Technology has been going well. The process of observation carried out by the Central Library and Distribution of Agricultural Technology is to carry out the process of media transfer by digitizing using two methods, namely scanning and capturing. The results of the digitization are presented in the form of e-books and CD-Roon that can be accessed by users only at the Agricultural Library and Technology Center.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tanah Ombak Reading Park, Purus III Village, Padang City, West Sumatra. This study aims to illustrate that Tanah Ombak reading park has a considerable influence in changing the stigma and views of the community around Purus Beach which is very far from the reading material and has bad behavior. This is where the role played by the Tanah Ombak Reading Park to make the children of the Purus Beach community have good character and good literacy too. This research uses descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. The purpose of descriptive research is to provide a description based on accurate facts obtained in the field. The subjects in this study were children who lived around Tanah Ombak Reading Park, while the object of the study was Tanah Ombak Reading Park, Padang, West Sumatra. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and literature. The informants in this study amounted to one person, Mr. Yusrizal. The results of this study are (1) children's reading literacy and society will develop well if the elements that play a role in the scope understand their respective roles (2) many activities held by Tanah Ombak Reading Park to improve reading literacy(3) Tanah Ombak Reading Park has various awards from other renowned institutions and artists. (4) the obstacle felt by Tanah Ombak Reading Park is the lack volunteers so the activities are not well structured. So it can be concluded that Tanah Ombak reading Park has a positive impact in providing education and teaching to children such as learning to count, draw, tell stories, play, and most importantly teach norms in society. However, all activities are constrained due to the limited volunteers so that the activities are only carried out by children independently, such as reading books by themselves without being accompanied by volunteers. Suggestion for the future that Tanah Ombak Reading Park informs the public about the needs of volunteers so that the activities in Tanah Ombak Reading Park can take place in a structured manner.

Abstract

Campus is a place to study educated people who are familiar with books. The existence of bookstores in the campus area is very common. On the other hand, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, as one of the well-known campuses close to the capital, is not surrounded by bookstores. As a source of student information, some students rarely buy printed books and rely more on the internet. This condition resulted in several bookstores around campus starting to close. Based on this background, this study seeks to answer how the existence of publishing products as a source of information for students, especially students of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This article also discusses the fate of publishing today and how the strategies used by publishers to maintain their existence amidst the onslaught of digitization. The research method used is a qualitative method through case studies. Researchers collected data using document review, focus group discussion and observation. The results of this study indicate a decline in sales of printed books on the market. Nevertheless, publishing as a company strives to produce strategic steps to increase public buying interest in printed books. This research also focuses on students' reading interest in the digital era. This study concludes six strategies that publishers must undertake to increase the sales circulation of publishing products, namely prioritizing visual design, collaborating with digital media, reaching out to writers with viral work on social media. increasing the scale of the readership by attracting clicks on a managed website involves interaction between the reader community and publishers and building cooperation with reputable reviewers. Keywords: publishing strategy; source of literacy; digital era; bookstore; college student ABSTRAKKampus merupakan tempat belajar para terdidik yang akrab dengan buku. Keberadaan toko buku di area kampus sangat lazim ditemukan. Di sisi lain, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta sebagai salah satu kampus ternama yang dekat dengan ibukota tidak banyak dikelilingi oleh toko buku. Sebagai sumber informasi mahasiswa, sebagian dari mahasiswa sangat jarang membeli buku cetak dan lebih banyak mengandalkan internet. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan beberapa toko buku di sekitar kampus mulai tutup. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka penelitian ini berupaya untuk menjawab bagaimana eksistensi produk penerbitan sebagai sumber informasi mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Artikel ini juga membahas tentang nasib penerbitan saat ini dan bagaimana strategi yang digunakan oleh penerbitan untuk tetap mempertahankan eksistensi di tengah gempuran digitalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif melalui studi kasus. Peneliti mengumpulkan data menggunakan telaah dokumen, focus grup discussion dan observasi.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan penjualan buku cetak di sejumlah toko buku. Kendati demikian,  penerbitan sebagai perusahaan berupaya untuk menghasilkan langkah-langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan minat beli masyarakat terhadap buku cetak. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti tentang minat baca mahasiswa di era digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan enam strategi yang harus dilakukan penerbit untuk meningkatkan oplah penjualan.  Strategi yang perlu dilakukan yaitu produk penerbitan perlu mengutamakan desain visual, berkolaborasi dengan media digital,  menjangkau penulis dengan karya viral di media sosial, meningkatkan skala besaran pembaca dengan menarik klik atas situs website yang dikelola, melibatkan interaksi antara komunitas pembaca dan penerbit, serta membangun kerja sama dengan reviewer bereputasi baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge management which includes aspects of knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge utilization on the performance of library staff either partially or simultaneously. The method used in this research uses a quantitative approach with this type of explanatory survey research. As for the so-called type of survey explanatory research is research that does not only describe or describe a phenomenon but also aims to provide an explanation of the phenomenon. Meanwhile, the population in this determination were employees of the Binus LKC Jakarta library. With the sampling technique using a simple random sample. Regarding the theory used in this study is the knowledge-based view theory from Grant, while for measuring knowledge management using the concept of knowledge management from Shujahat and performance measurement using the concept of performance from Mangkunegara. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to Binus LKC employees, interviews with library managers, observations about library management activities at Binus LKC and through library studies. Based on the research results, it shows that knowledge management has a significant effect on the performance of librarians by 68%. Meanwhile, partially, the aspects of knowledge creation and aspects of knowledge sharing have a significant influence on the performance of library staff. However, the knowledge utilization aspect partially does not have a significant effect on the performance of library staff.Keyword: knowledge management; library staff; performance ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh knowledge management yang meliputi aspek knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, dan knowledge utilization terhadap kinerja tenaga perpustakaan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori survey. Adapun yang disebut dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori survey adalah penelitian yang tidak hanya sekedar menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan suatu fenomena namun juga bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang fenomena tersebut. Sedangkan yang menjadi populasi dalam penetian ini adalah para karyawan perpustakan Binus LKC Jakarta. Dengan Teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan jenis sampel acak sederhana. Mengenai teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori knowledge based-view dari Grant sedangkan untuk pengukuran knowledge management menggunakan konsep knowledge management dari Shujahat dan serta pengukuran kinerja menggunakan konsep kinerja dari Mangkunegara. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket yang disebarkan pada para karyawan Binus LKC, wawancara dengan pengelola perpustakaan, observasi mengenai kegiatan penyelenggaraan perpustakaan di Binus LKC serta melalui studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pengetahuan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada kinerja tenaga perpustakaan sebesar 68%. Sedangkan secara parsial aspek knowledge creation dan aspek knowledge sharing memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga perpustakaan. Namun untuk aspek knowledge utilization secara parsial tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga perpustakaan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a conceptual model of knowledge management for Kelompok Sadar Wisata (a tourism-aware group) Pokdarwis Wonderful Sangiran. Knowledge management system is needed to develop their skill, ability and maintain their adequate knowledge and information as a knowledge-based tourism guide. Conceptual Model is developed using the Soft System Methodology approach, consisting of 7 stages, starting from the situation considered as problematical, the Rich-picture development, the root definition, the conceptual model development, the comparison conceptual model with reality, and determining a change and proposal. The preparation of rich-picture is based on the primary data obtained from several informants, i.e member of Pokdarwis, researchers, academics and government officials selected using purposive sampling. This employs a qualitative method to develop a conceptual model that could bring out ideas for Pokdarwis activities in the future in relation to their knowledge management. Recommendations on developing a knowledge management system could be the media for knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing within the Pokdarwis itself, from Pokdarwis member to researchers, academics, government to Pokdarwis member, and from Pokdarwis to the younger generation. Knowledge management conception in the form of personalization and codification and knowledge creation could be referred to in developing the technology-based knowledge management system.Keyword: soft system methodology; conceptual model; knowledge creation; knowledge management system ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah Model Konseptual pengelolaan pengetahuan bagi Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Wonderful Sangiran. Sistem pengelolaan pengetahuan dibutuhkan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan keterampilan anggota Pokdarwis serta menjaga kecukupan informasi dan pengetahuan sebagai pemandu wisata berbasis pengetahuan. Model Konseptual dibangun menggunakan pendekatan Soft System Methodology (SSM). Pendekatan ini terdiri dari 7 tahapan, mulai dari tahap pengenalan masalah, tahap pengembangan Rich-picture, tahap pendefinisian akar masalah, tahap pengembangan model konseptual, tahap pembandingan model konseptual dengan realitas, tahap menetapkan perubahan hingga tahap menentukan usulan. Pengembangan Rich_picture didasarkan pada data primer yang diperoleh dari beberapa informan, antara lain: anggota Pokdarwis, peneliti, akademisi dan pegawai pemerintah, yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu (purposive sampling).  Penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan menghasilkan sebuah model konseptual sebagai usulan bagi aktivitas atau kegiatan Pokdarwis di masa mendatang, terkait dengan pengelolaan pengetahuan. Rekomendasi pengembangan sistem pengelolaan pengetahuan dapat menjadi media Knowledge Transfer dan knowledge sharing, baik bagi inter-anggota Pokdarwis, maupun dari peneliti, akademisi, pemerintah ke anggota Pokdarwis, serta dari anggota Pokdarwis ke generasi muda. Konsepsi pengelolaan pengetahuan berupa strategi personalisasi dan kodifikasi serta proses knowledge creation/conversion dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan sistem pengelolaan pengetahuan berbasis Teknologi Informasi.
