Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using Picture and Picture methods in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects. The subjects of this study were in the 7.3 class with 43 people. In SMP Negeri 8 Kota Bekasi, for 6 months, from January to June 2017. The design of this study uses the method of Stephen Kemmis and Robin M Taggart which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle includes 3 meetings, and each cycle includes 4 steps namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Indicators of success are seen from increasing understanding of concepts, activeness, and learning outcomes of students. The instruments used in this study were test questions, and classroom observations. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes after Classroom Action Research. In the first cycle, it was seen from 43 students in the 7.3 class who achieved KKM of 76 as many as 33 students with 76% completeness. And we see the improvement in learning outcomes in cycle 2, out of 43 students in the 7.3 class who achieved KKM of 76 as many as 39 students with 91% completeness.

Abstract

. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Generative learning models on students' mathematical critical thinking skills in quadratic connection material. The research method used is the experimental method, with a sample of 30 students, using simple random sampling techniques, and techniques for retrieving data sourced from library documents and giving essay tests and data analysis techniques using the t-test. In the normality test using the Liliefors test and homogeneity test using the Fisher test, it was concluded that the data were nomal and homogeneous. In the homogeneity test obtained Fcount (1,072) <Ftable (1.86). In testing the hypothesis by using the t-test obtained tcount (5.96)> t table (2.00), so it can be said that there is a significant effect of the Generative learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. This shows that the Generative learning model influences students' critical thinking skills mathematically.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activities and learning outcomes of chemistry of students by using concept maps through STAD type cooperative learning at SMK Negeri 1 Karawang. The method used was action research or class action. The sample used in this study is class X TP 1 with 32 students. Data collection techniques used were observation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the average activity desired (On Task) students in the first cycle amounted to 52.92, the second cycle was 65.83 and in the third cycle was 73.75. The average activity that is not desired (Off Task) of students in the first cycle is 53.75, the second cycle is 38.33 and the third cycle is 26.67. This data shows that the use of concept maps through STAD type cooperative learning is able to increase the desired activities (On Task) of students (an increase of 20.8%). From the data the learning results obtained that the average test scores of students in the first cycle amounted to 73 , 99 (with learning completeness 67.44), cycle II was 75.95 (with mastery learning 72.45, cycle III was 77.16 (learning completeness was 76.35) .This data shows that the use of concept maps through cooperative learning STAD type is able to improve learning outcomes of students' chemistry subjects. In the third cycle data obtained increases the activity of participants the average learning outcomes of students have achieved the success indicators that have been set before the study was conducted. Thus the next cycle does not need to be done.

Abstract

: This study aims to determine the effect of Wankat and Oreovocz problem solving strategies on cognitive abilities in Newton's legal concepts and their application. This research was conducted at the State High School 08 in Bogor City. In this study, the experimental class was class X MIA 2, while the control class was class X MIA 1. Determination of the sample in this study was based on purposive sampling technique. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The study took place in the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of a subjective test. Based on test data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence of Wankat and Oreovocz's problem solving strategies on cognitive abilities in Newton's legal concepts and their application. This is based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test for N = 31 for the posttest data. Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.001, while the significance value is 0.05 or Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05

Abstract

This study aims to improve the logarithmic competence of class X IPA students with active learning strategies in Narada Jakarta High School students. The research method used is classroom action research through 2 cycles and in each cycle includes activities of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed an increase in mastery of this competency starting from the first cycle of students can increase by 28% from the initial conditions of the conditions in the first cycle after the action in the second cycle increased by 30%. From the results of this class action research the researcher recommends policy making or implementing learning in this case, namely the instructor to teach learning material in small groups and with techniques to activate students

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of discipline and commitment to the task of understanding students' mathematical concepts. In this study, survey research methods were used. Multiple regression analysis was performed with ANOVA statistics (variance analysis). The results of the study concluded: (1) There is no significant direct influence in the discipline of understanding Mathematical concepts with t-count = 1 082 <1,980. (2) There is a significant direct effect of commitment to the task of understanding mathematical concepts with t-count = 2,248> 1,980. (3) There is a significant direct effect of discipline on commitment to the task is t-count = 3.936> 1.980. (4) There is an insignificant indirect influence in the discipline of understanding mathematical concepts through commitment to the task is t-count = 0.936 <1.980. Efforts to improve understanding of mathematical concepts in students are carried out with discipline and commitment to the tasks students have in the teaching and learning process.  Keywords: Discipline, Commitment to tasks, Understanding of Mathematical Concepts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the learning model of the Assisted Individualization Team (TAI) on the mathematics learning outcomes of students of class X in the SMK Wijaya Kususma. The research method used in this study. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling, each of 30 students for two classes namely the experimental class and the control class, so that the total sample was 60 students. Data analysis using t-count test, and first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements. To test norms using the reliability test, for the homogeneity test using the Fisher test and validation test. The results of the study showed that there was the application of the Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model to the mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an influence of students' critical thinking skills using the Spontaneous Group Discussion learning strategy. The research method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a total sample of 30 groups, taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Test requirements for data analysis used are normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test.. From the hypothesis test the t test shows that at a significant level of 5%, it means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because of tcount> t table. Which means that students 'mathematical critical thinking skills taught with Spontaneous Group Discussion learning strategies are not the same as students' critical thinking skills taught by using the Group Investigation learning strategy

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to Influence Attitudes and Ways of Learning Together Against the Learning Achievement of History of State High Schools in Cibinong Sub district, Bogor Regency. The research method is a survey with correlation and regression analysis techniques to determine the effect of each variable. The sample used as the object of research is collected students and then analyzed the descriptive statistics and test requirements for data analysis before testing the hypothesis. While secondary data obtained from school documentation is the value of Middle Semester Test (UTS). From the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, conclusions are obtained that: (1) There is a significant effect of attitudes and ways of learning together on the historical learning achievement of high school students in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. (2) Against a significant influence on attitudes towards learning achievement History of the National High School students in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. (3) There is a significant effect of learning methods on the learning achievement of History of State High School students in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the effect of the aptitude treatment interaction (ATI) method on the learning outcomes of Islamic Education on the fifth grade students of Cipondoh Makmur State Elementary School Tangerang. The research method used is the experimental method with analysis of normality testing using the Chi Square Test technique that is testing data in the form of group data. The benefits of this study are to add to the repertoire of education, especially for Islamic Education subjects in an effort to improve and grow the quality of national education. The results showed that there was a significant effect between the aptitude treatment interaction (ATI) method on the learning outcomes of Islamic Education and it was proven from the results of the t test to show t-count> t-table, which is 24.55> 1.67.
