Abstract

Choosing a good and quality forwarder is something that cannot be considered easy. Errors in choosing a forwarding service will hinder the operational processes of a company, especially if the company is an international scale such as PT. XYZ. This study aims to choose the best forwarder services for the company. Criteria set by PT. XYZ in choosing forwarder services, namely Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Responsiveness. In this research forwarders who offer themselves or take part in bidding to work with PT. XYZ has only 4, namely forwarder A, forwarder B, forwarder C, and forwarder D. In this study the author uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine which forwarder fits the company's criteria. The most important criteria for PT. XYZ is a Cost with the highest weight of 0.4841, Quality criteria with 0.2310, Delivery criteria with 0.1676 and Responsiveness criteria with 0.1171. then followed by forwarder A with the highest weight of 0.535, then forwarder B with 0.202, forwarder C with 0.145, and forwarder D with 0.119.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan kapasitas waktu produksi yang sesuai dengan menggunakan metode Capacity Requirement Planning pada Teaching Factory Manufacture Electronics (TFME) Politeknik Negeri Batam. Variable dalam penelitain ini adalah jadwal pesanan (Schedule Of Planned Order Release), pusat kerja (Work Centre), Routing Data (waktu yang digunakan), dan Work Order Status. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari data dokumen produksi di TFME Politeknik Negeri Batam. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pesanan dapat diselesaikan dengan kapasitas perhari yaitu 8 pcs/hari setara 1 unit PCB A4 dengan waktu operasi adalah waktu yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permintaan berdasarkan kemampuan kapasitas maximal. Sehingga perumusannya adalah permintaan (demand) dibagi dengan kapasitas produksi terpasang yaitu 165 pcs : 8 pcs/hari = 21 unit dimana 1 unit PCB A4dikerjakan dalam waktu 5,12 jam sehingga untuk menyelesaikan 21 unit menghabiskan waktu selama 107,52 jam = 14 hari, untuk itu berdasarkan kebutuhan penyesuaian kapasitas dalam produksi maka jumlah hari yang dibutuhkan untuk Operation Time (waktu operasi) adalah selama 14 hari. Kebutuhan waktu aktual adalah konversi dari waktu operasi kedalam satuan menit yaitu 5,12 jam/unit x 21 unit x 60 menit = 6451 menit = 107,52 jam.tingkat efisiensi dan utilisasi merupakan kondisi actual perfomance dari setiap work centres. Kapasitas yang tersedia dalam periode ini selama 4032 menit untuk menyelesaikan pesanan PCB G-Robo sebanyak 165 pcs, dan waktu aktual yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan pesanan tersebut hanya 6451 menit sehingga dengan menggunakan metode CRP ini dapat menyimpan operation cost selama 2419 menit = 40,32 jam = 6 hari kerja sehingga TFME Politeknik Negeri Batam dapat meminimalisir biaya yang diakibatkan dari proses produksi serta pesanan untuk PCB G-Robo juga dapat diselesaikan tepat pada waktunya.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influences of promotion mix to the purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa at PT Riau Indotama Abadi. This research used explanatory research method to 79 wholesalaers and repair shops to cooperate with PT Riau Indotama Abadi in Batam. From the results of multiple regression, showed there was partially effect of sales promotion variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.345, there was partially effect of public relation variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.357, there was partially effect of direct marketing variable on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa around 0.364. As for the variable advertising and personal selling not partially effect on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa. And there is a simultaneous effect of variable advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations and direct marketing on purchase decision of product Accu Yuasa.

Abstract

The research objective is to identify influence factors that influence student entrepreneurial intention or student intention to become entrepreneur particularly for polytechnic students. This is very interisting because at the beginning, the student who going study to polytechnic just only expect to get a job quickly after their graduated. The sampling method of this reseach used purposive sampling whereas 165 selected samples were taken from up to 4 semester student of all study program that were participated in entrepreneurship learning program at Batam Polytechnic . The methods used for analysis were descriptive analysis and multiple linier regression analysis and processed by SPSS Software Tools. The student entrepreneurial intention would represented as dependend variable meanwhile the independend variable come from factors that represent sosio-demographic and environment characteristic of the students. The result of this research indicates that the existence of some factors particularly the environmental factors such as student entrepereneurship program, facilities and mentoring support by campus, parent support and existence of entrepreneur association having significant correlation statistically to students entrepreneurial intention of Polytechnic Students. It means those factors tend to higher influence for student to become entrepreneur. Meanwhile, the sosio-demographic factors such as gender, study program background, level of education program, parent occupation, have no significant correlation. The finding of research also was affirming the role of campus, parent and entepreuner communities have very important to support the student to become prospective entrepreneur. The finding related the role of those parties implies campus structurally should develop an integrated relationship model between the parties that allow the parties give optimal contribution or support, so therefore it should be maximized the positive effect for student entrepreneurial intention in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usaha pengolahan ikan Kampung Patin., Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan kualitatif dengan pendekatan SWOT. Berdasarkan sejumlah faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal, maka terdapat delapan strategi pengembangan usaha pengolahan ikan Kampung Patin yang penting untuk diimplementasikan, diantaranya pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia, semakin meningkatkan kualitas produk olahan ikan, perluasan jangkauan pemasaran, peningkatan keterkaitan produksi antara Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dan Usaha Besar (UB), meningkatkan kompetensi sumber daya manusia, semakin meningkatkan kreatifitas dan keinovatifan pengusaha, mengupayakan pengemasan yang baik, menarik dan inovatif serta meningkatkan jalinan kerjasama antara Kampung Patin dengan Triple Helix sehingga terjadi modernisasi sarana dan teknologi pendukung untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing usaha

Abstract

PT Bandar Abadi Shipyard is a company engaged in manufacturing and the company is working to improve the quality and quantity of production in the ship building and ship repair. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture variables and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bandar Abadi Shipyard. The study population was 50 people and the samples used are saturated sampling technique. This study using multiple linear regression data analysis with the help of computer software SPSS version 20.00. Analysis of the data used to test the validity and reliability levels, classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. Results from this study indicate that the organizational culture (X1), and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y) and simultaneously the organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the process of marketing communication strategies such as: advertising, sales promotion, public relations and publicity, personal selling, and direct marketing conducted by PT. Indonesia Villajaya. The research data was obtained through direct observation, documentation, as well as in-depth interviews with five informants. This research method using descriptive qualitative method. Analysis of the data include: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that PT. Indonesia Villajaya conduct marketing communication strategy with reference to the integrated marketing communications strategy with process include: advertising, sales promotion, direct marketing, personal selling, and community relations & publicity. With the process of the strategy undertaken during this helps in increasing the public's brand awareness, enhance brand image and increase sales for the company

Faktor-faktor maupun sub-sub faktor yang membangun suatu jabatan tertentu didapatkan dari hasil analisis jabatan dengan menggunakan metode Point System, bobot kepentingan dari masing-masing faktor maupun sub faktor dapat ditentukan. Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of their online service (Wakjek) in Batam city. Primary data obtained by spreading the questionnaires to consumers using Random Sampling techniques with the total sample as many as 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Consumer satisfaction against the dimensions of quality is described in the diagram of the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). IPA charts indicate that service dimension items scattered on the four quadrants, namely 15 items on A quadrant which is a top priority, 7 items in quadrant B that should be preserved, the next 7 items in quadrant C which is a low priority, as well as 12 items in quadrant D is an item that is considered less important. Research results exposed that the satisfaction of services provided by taxi online Wakjek has shown the good results it can be seen from the level of conformity that is indicated by the variable Y i.e. satisfaction service. On the attributes of the performance of the average value of the variable Y indicates the number of attributes exists while 4.77 hopes the average value of the variable Y shows numbers 3.62. This means that service satisfaction felt by customers of their online Wakjek have been able to meet the expectations of their customers online Wakjek itself but there are still some items that must be repaired
