Abstract

The history of human civilization shows that language is a form of human behavior that has its own characteristics. Another definition, language is a means of thought, a system of expression that mediates the transmission of thoughts from one person to another. Meaning is a symptom in speech. Contextual meaning is a meaning of a lexeme or word that is in one context. Motto is a word or exclamation that describes the motivation, spirit, and goals of an organization. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded about the Analysis of Contextual Meaning in the Thesis Motto of Indonesian Language and Literature Students Class of 2015 as follows: contextual meaning of setting, contextual meaning of activities, and contextual meaning of relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Indonesian spelling errors in writing social media posts. The sample was taken from Instagram social media. On each account that uploads photos containing writing. This research is a descriptive research that focuses on extracting qualitative data by looking at a detailed description of the research subject. From the results of this study, in general it can be said that Indonesian language errors in social media uploads on Instagram are still common and are not in accordance with good and correct Indonesian language rules. The forms contained in writing errors include spelling, spacing, and the writing that is conveyed is not in accordance with the rules for using good and correct Indonesian. Writing errors in Instagram uploads are caused by the influence of the use of everyday language based on written and spoken language in their environment, limited knowledge of Indonesian language rules, and the tendency to imitate. In addition, they often ignore how to use good written language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of interrogatives used in TK Aisyiyah 56, South Tangerang City. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research are 5-year-old children from TK Aisyiyah 56, South Tangerang City. The data collected in this research are speech acts in the form of questions from 5-year-old children. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation and literature review. The researcher is the instrument in this research, analyzing the data obtained from direct observation and interaction with the research subjects. The results of this research show that the types of interrogatives used by 5-year-old children in TK Aisyiyah 56, South Tangerang City consist of the interrogative words 'apa' (what), 'siapa' (who), 'kapan' (when), 'di mana' (where), 'gimana' (how), and 'kenapa' (why). The interrogative sentences with the interrogative word 'apa' were found in 9 data, 'siapa' in 8 data, 'gimana' in 2 data, 'kenapa' in 3 data, 'kapan' in 4 data, and 'di mana' in 4 data. From the data, the most dominant interrogative speech acts used were those using the interrogative words 'apa' and 'siapa'
