Abstract

Today's brand community is not only a marketing medium for companies, but also a long-term business strategy to maintain the existence of a brand. Brand community strategies tend to be found in products owned by consumers directly such as ownership of motorized vehicles, automotive, mobile phones, and electronic devices. However, there are also service companies that implement brand community strategies, one of which is PT. Indonesian Railroad (Persero). This study aims to analyze the influence of the brand community on word of mouth and loyalty to the Railfans community of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in the Central Java Region. This research is a type of quantitative research using a survey method using a questionnaire given to Railfans members in the Central Java region. Sampling was determined using the purposive sampling method, with a total of 130 Railfans members. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and using the AMOS Structural Equation Model (AMOS SEM). The results showed that to increase word of mouth and loyalty, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is expected to increase the participation of its community members first. As an effort to increase participation, two things need attention, namely increasing member satisfaction and community-brand member relations.

Abstract

In light of the fact that unproductive workplace behavior can have a significant negative effect on an organization, it is essential to do research on the factors that play a role in the emergence of unproductive workplace behavior in an organization. The work locus of control, organizational limits, and organizational equality have all been suggested as important factors in the development of counterproductive work behavior by a few previous studies and results based on observations made in the workplace. As a result, this line of research directs us to investigate the influence of those three characteristics on counterproductive behavior in the workplace. This goal will be accomplished by the use of multiple regression investigations, which will be used in the research. The results of a survey using a Likert scale have been analyzed here as part of this study. The key information was collected from 200 individuals who were representatives of the Directorate General of Taxation and came from a variety of work roles, locations, and organizational units. This was calculated by using a non probability sampling combined with the purposive technique. The findings of the hypotheses test have revealed that work locus of control, organizational limits, and organizational justice have a significant impact on counterproductive work behavior both partially and simultaneously. The measurement expressive also shows that the Directorate General of Taxes has a direct inner locus of control, lower organizational constraint discernment, and better organizational justice discernment. It is suggested that Directorate General of Taxes should further improve its internal control in order to complement the employees' self-discipline, maintain its organizational limitations, and ensure that organizational equality is maintained at an appropriate level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the impact of credit risk, liquidity risk and interest rate on the performance of banks through capital adequacy. Banking companies in five Southeast Asian countries were used as data source in this quantitative research. The total sample obtained was 175 from 2014 to 2020. This Predictive and exploratory inquiry used Partial Least Squares (PLS) Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with WarpPLS 7.0 application. The study found that credit risk significantly affected bank performance. The VAF calculation to see whether the capital adequacy as a mediator can be categorised as partial mediation or not also showed a similar finding. A mediation test was carried out using the VAF method where the conditions were 20% < VAF < 80%. From the results of data analysis, capital adequacy showed to be able to mediate the indirect impact of credit risk on bank performance. The result, therefore, validated the Commercial Loan hypothesis, which states that if a bank's productive assets, which consist of short-term loans, are distributed in normal business activities, bank liquidity will be ensured. This study indicated that credit risk in Southeast Asian Countries requires sufficient capital reserves to reduce the occurrence of credit risk which will have an impact on decreasing bank performance.
