Abstract

The family is the smallest institution in society. A generation is forming from a family. That is why, the building of a family must strong to produce a formidable generation. Family toughness is determined by the foundation of the family builder. Resilience is often defined as endurance. Resilience is generally defined as the ability to overcome adversity, or to thrive despite challenges and difficulties in life. The concept of resilience is becoming increasingly popular in research on the ways people, families and communities recover from trauma, such as trauma from disasters, wars, or the loss of family members. A study of family resilience becomes important because the family is where people grow and develop. In addition, the family is the site of the main activity of the person so that the family become a quality determination of a person facing the future. To understand the process of family resilience, a multi system review is necessary in view of family conditions. The ecological perspective put forward by Urie Bronfenbrenner builds a model of interrelated relationships between families and between families and the social context.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of self-acceptance to students who have dropped out, the factors that influence and impact of drop out. Subjects in this study were students or students who have dropped out of college with a variety of problems. The number of respondents in this study were 13 students. The research data in the form of a verbatim transcript were analyzed and divided into the categories that have been there, then spelled out in detail for the conclusion of the research results. Results of this study illustrate, picture yourself admission of students who have dropped out with characteristics that have the confidence, ability, confident, responsible, and do not blame him. The results also showed that while the factors that affect the self-acceptance that there are two external factors, namely social environmental factors and internal factors are feelings, thoughts and views of the self, and the impact of self-acceptance is divided into two positive impacts and effects negative. The impact experienced after drop out of feeling embarrassed and disappointed. Society is expected to understand and know what is felt by students who have dropped out and know how to react

Abstract

Individu yang terlahir dengan keterbatasan fisik maupun mental disebut dengan penyandang disabilitas. Kondisi yang diderita oleh penyandang disabilitas fisik menyebabkan mereka sulit untuk beraktivitas. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan rasa kurang percaya diri pada penyandang disabilitas. Salah satu faktor yang berpotensi mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri seseorang adalah dukungan sosial. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Kepercayaan Diri pada Penyandang Disabilitas di SLB Kota Banda Aceh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 49 orang. Adapun karakteristik sampel penelitian ini adalah individu penyandang disabilitas berusia 13 sampai 23 tahun, tidak mengalami retardasi mental, dan sedang menempuh pendidikan sekolah lanjut tingkat pertama luar biasa dan sekolah menengah atas luar biasa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Skala Dukungan Sosial yang disusun peneliti berdasarkan teori dari Sarafino (1998) dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri yang disusun peneliti berdasarkan teori dari Fatimah (2006). Abstract

Moral and akhlaq are almost considered the same by some people. Even though they has different meanings. The difference between them becomes interesting to discuss for explain the difference between them, from both the paradigm and the application in the moral psychology. The morals are meaningful as good and bad behavior are based on human consent. In contrast to moral, Akhlaq derived from the word “khulq” is cognate with khalaqa (created). It has the meaning of the inherent nature of the soul (malakah) in a person according to the origin of its creation (ahsanu taqwim) sourced from the essence of the creator (Allah). Therefore it can be sure there are different moral meanings in western society (non-Muslim) with Muslim society. This distinction opens opportunities for discussion of moral psychology in Islamic perspective. This article seeks to review in detail one of the sub-themes of moral psychology namely judgment or moral reasioning, where in terms of Islamic psychology is known by akhlaq judgment (penaakulan akhlaq) from Asmawati Hamzah (2007).

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of communication training to enhance the knowledge of giving feedback on employees of the Government institution which is X. The current condition of the organization experienced a low ability to give feedback to a subordinate supervisor. The subject of this research as many as 13 people with characteristics of the subject are the employees who occupy positions as supervisor or leader of the condition have a subordinate in the subject work. Type of this research is the research design eksprimen one group pretest – posttest design using one group of participants who were given a treat or interventions with data analysis using t-test (t-test) paired simple test to see whether or not there is a difference between score gains pre-and post test-test on the subject of research. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the relationship between the patient and self-esteem with the aggressiveness of a football supporters because many phenomena that occur as a result of the aggressive behavior of soccer supporters that are often negative and harming others. The subjects in this research there were as many as 102 football supporters with snow ball sampling technique. This study used three scales, the scale of patience, self-esteem scale and scale of agressiveness. Form of the scale used is Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is done by using multiple regression of analysis. The results showed that the analysis results sig 0.000 < 0.05, or higher score of patience and higher score of self-esteem in a football supporter, can be a predictor of low score of aggressiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between social support and academic stress among first year students at Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH). Data was collected through questionnaires. The respondents were first year students at UNSYIAH (n = 364) with ranging age from 16 to 21. Respondents completed the Multi Dimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and Student Life Stress Inventory (SLSI). Pearson Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the relationship between social support and academic stress among first year students. The results revealed that the sample reported moderate levels of social support and academic stress. Students with high level of social support, reported low level of academic stress.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan romantic relationship dan subjectif wellbeing ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek pasangan suami istri yang telah menikah berjumlah 66 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang terdiri dari pembagian kuisioner romantic relationship dan subjectif wellbeing dengan menggunakan skala likert. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan independent sampel t-test yang digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan romantic relationship dan subjectif wellbeing ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik Independent sample t-test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p) = 0,023 (p0,05), Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis kedua ditolak, artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan SWB pada pasangan yang ditinjau dari jenis kelamin

Abstract

This study aims to measure the improvement of the teacher’s social competence in teaching junior high school in "X" before being given training (pretest) and two weeks after training (posttest). The hypothesis in this study is authoritative teacher training can improve the teacher‘s social competence in teaching junior high school "X". Teachers are given the Authoritative Teacher Training will increase the teacher’s social competence in teaching. This study is a quasi-experimental design using one group pretest, posttest and follow-up. This study used the scale of the teacher’s social competence in teaching, observation scale, and opened scale. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Abstract

Penampilan adalah hal yang sangat penting bagi seorang perempuan. Oleh sebab itu, seorang perempuan akan memperhatikan dan melakukan apa saja untuk membuat penampilannya menarik di depan orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra tubuh dan perilaku makan terhadap penerimaan diri pada wanita. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 orang mahasiswi yang usianya berkisar antara 17-43 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear ganda dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa citra tubuh sebagai variabel bebas berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat yaitu penerimaan diri dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05 dan nilai R Square 0,217 yang artinya citra tubuh mempengaruhi penerimaan diri sebesar 21,7 %, sedangkan sisanya 78,3 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Tetapi lain halnya dengan perilaku makan, nilai sigfinikansi 0,303 > 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa perilaku makan tidak berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan diri. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya variabel lain yang berperan dalam hubungan antara perilaku makan dan penerimaan diri, sehingga memperlemah hubungan diantara keduanya.
