Abstract

Benih merupakan sarana produksi utama dalam budidaya tanaman. Peranan benih dalam usaha peningkatan produksi pertanian tidak dapat disangsikan lagi. Pengolahan hasil benih yang baik yang dilakukan oleh produsen dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah dari hasil pertanian yang diusahakan. Dengan kualitas benih yang baik, maka nilai suatu hasil pertanian akan lebih tinggi, dan keinginan konsumen menjadi terpenuhi. Mekanisme pendistribusian benih padi bersubsidi yang selama ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Purbalingga adalah : benih padi varietas unggul yang dilepas (breeder seed) yang dihasilkan oleh Puslitbang atau balai Komoditas, diteruskan oleh Direktorat Benih untuk disebarkan ke Balai Benih Induk, yang selanjutnya diperbanyak untuk menghasilkan foundation seed. Benih tersebut kemudian diperbanyak oleh produsen dan penyalur benih bersubsidi untuk kemudian menghasilkan benih padi dengan jenis stock seed atau extention seed, yang langsung disebarkan ke petani atau melalui penyalur/kios pertanian.

Abstract

The purpose of this experiment is to obtain clones of onion that can adapt well in Losar. Ten clones of hybrid onion that has been selected by two local varieties as compares were planted at low elevation of Losari Pabedilan in 16 m asl using Randomyzed Completely Block Design, from June - September 2007. The results showed that clone no. 10 is a clone of onion that can be adapted well and have the appearance of new growth and results in high-Losari Pabedilan Cirebon, are consistent with the expectations of the users who may ultimately be developed commercially. Abstract

Sub Terminal Agribisnis (STA) merupakan salah satu struktur kelembagaan untuk mendorong pemasaran komoditas pertanian yang dihasilkan di berbagai wilayah yang semakin beragam, dan memberikan jaminan kepastian harga produk yang dipasarkan oleh petani sebagai produsen sehingga harga yang diterima dapat menguntungkan para petani. Berbagai permasalahan muncul dalam penanganan STA antara lain lokasi yang cukup jauh dari sentra produksi dan ketergantungan permodalan usahatani pada pemberi modal yang sekaligus sebagai pedagang. Untuk itu perlu melakukan pemasaran produk pertanian dengan memfungsikan peran STA. Kata kunci : Sub Terminal Agribisnis (STA), kelembagaan, pemasaran, kepastian harga.

Abstract

A research with aims of obtaining which better between MS and Gamborg (B5) as the media in raja banana in vitro culture and knowing how much BAP needed in order to gain a most optimal growth of raja banana in in vitro culture. The research has been done in Plant Physiology Laboratory Biology Faculty General Soedirman University from April up to July 2010. Completely Randomized Design has been used with split plot design. As the main plot were media; i.e. MS media (M1) and Gamborg (B5) media (M2). As the sub plot were BAP concentration (K); consist of K0: 0 2M, K1: 5 2M, K2: 10 2M, K3: 15 2M, K4: 20 2M and K5: 25 2M. Each treatment repeated three times and each repeating treatments consist of three sub-samples. It could be concluded from the result that raja banana in vitro culture might be done in MS or Gamborg (B5) media. The best concentration of BAP in stimulating the forming and the growth of raja banana shoots in in vitro culture was 15 2M. Key words : BAP, Gamborg (B5) medium, MS medium, Raja banana shoot raja

Abstract

Progressively increase amount the resident claimed the existence improvement of vegetable result is inclusive of cucumber in amount and also its quality. Effort to increase production of cucumber by repair of energy kindness technique through branch clipping and use resistor paclobutrazol. The purpose of the research is to find the effect of time when cutting branches happen and the degree of inhibitor substance paclobutrazol on the result of cucumber. This research is a test on a wide field which is located in Banyumudal village at Moga subdistrict in Pemalang regency with position of height 650 meters over the sea surface on September to November 2009. This experiment used preparation of factorial trying with the Randomized Complex Block Design (RCBD) of three repeated factors. The first factor is when cutting branches (S) which consists of three standards; without cutting the branches (SO); age cutting of 21 days after planting (S1); age cutting of 28 days after planting (S2). The second factor, the concentration of inhibitor substance paclobutrazol (K) which consists of four standards, 0 ml (KO); 0,125 ml (Kl); 0,250 ml (K2); and 0,375 ml (K3). The adding of inhibitor substance paclobutrazol is held after cutting the braches, exactly at the age of 21 day after planting and 28 day after planting. For the plants which are not cut, they will be given at the age of 21 day after planting by spraying the substance over the plants. The analysis result proved that the the happening of cutting branches does not factually effect to the parameter of flowering phase and harvest time. At the parameter of flowering phase for each plants, the quantity of fruit, the weight of fruit for each plants, the length of fruit, and the diameter of fruit, all those show the existence of influence. The cutting branches at the age of 21 day after planting gave a maximum result. The giving of inhibitor substance paclobutrazol effected to every parameter which are experimented, concentration of paclobutrazol 0,375 ml/liter of water that can increase the result to be maximum. The combination of cutting branches happen at the age of 21 day after planting and the concentration of paclobutrazol 0,375 ml/liter of water could add the result of planting cucumber optimally. Abstract

This research aim to learn the influence of combination of concentration plant growth regulator 2,4-D and BAP to callus induction at eksplan of Koempheria galanga leaf, proliferasi callus at eksplan and also know the interaction influence between 2,4-D and BAP to obtaining culture of callus Koempheria galanga which its growth good. This research was conducted from April to September 2010, in Laboratory of Tissue Culture, FKIP, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The Trial was arranged in Complete Random Design (CRD). Perception variable cover the : time induce the callus, percentage explant growth, callus volume which grow from explants leaf , culture appearance visually and percentage contamination. Result of research indicate that the Combination of concentration of Plant growth regulator 2,4-D at concentration 0 - 2 mg / l of medium and BAP at] concentration 0 - 0,3 mg / l medium still not yet able to induce formed is callus at eksplan of leaf Koempheria galanga during research. Disability Explants form the callus because of fenol high rate enough in tissue explant and also not yet proportional it concentration 2,4 D and Benzil Aminopurin which can depress the sintesis fenol in and death at explant of koempheria galanga leaf.
