Abstract

This research is grounded on the lack of people’s knowledge about traditional food,food serving equipment and food arrangement technique, and mean of food tradition. Thisresearch is purposed to: (1) describe types of Central Java’s traditional food, (2) describethe meaning of traditional food, (3) describe food’s serving equipment, and (4) describefood arrangement technique in traditional wedding ceremony of Central Java in SungaiJambu village. The type of research is qualitative research, and object of research istraditional food for wedding ceremony of Central Java. Data collected by snow ballsampling technique. Data analyzing include reduction, display, and verification ofconclusion.Results come from this research show that wedding ceremonies in SungaiJambu village had been contaminated by outside culture, such as performance stage, food,equipments, and arrangement technique, so the ceremonies is not as Central Java native’sceremony. Therefore, it is important to get elder and young generation to take a role inmaintaining the culture and preventing from the loss and outside culture’s influence. Abstract

The purpose of this study is: to reveal the effect of the use of coconut water mordantthe color / hue, bright dark color / value, and the flatness of color produced in cottondyeing using ginger root extract (Curcuma Roxb Xanthorriza). This type of research isexperimental research. Variable X is a root of ginger (Curcuma Roxb Xanthorriza) aredyed with cotton. Variable X1 is mordant dyeing without the use of coconut water, X2is Mordant dyeing using coconut water. As well as the Y variable dye differences inresults include: Y1 different color / hue dye yield, Y2 differences bright dark color /value, and Y3 is the flatness of the color difference. Types of data used are primarydata. Sources of data in this study is 15 respondents. Mechanical analysis of dataprocessed and compiled, then analyzed using a ratio of 2 independent variables (t test).Then processed using SPSS 15. From the analysis of data on the color (hue) colorsobtained without the use of gold for dyeing mordant and mordant yellow for dyeingusing coconut water.Kata kunci: pengaruh mordan air kelapa, pencelupan bahan katun, ekstrak umbi temulawak (Curcuma Xanthorriza Roxb)

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship of the discipline to the student learningoutcomes in subjects Indonesia Food Processing 1 in State 9 Padang Vocational High School.Covering aspects of punctuality, obedience and responsibility in teaching students both theoryand practice. This study is correlational. The population in this study were all students of class XFood Services State 9 Padang Vocational High School , the sample in this study amounted to 64people with a proportionate random sampling technicians. The data analysis technique used isthe correlation product moment correlation formula. Results showed that students who attendschool in State 9 Padang Vocational High School, generally belonging to the category of beingdisciplined, while students' largely belong to the category not pass / fail. Disciplines studying therelationships between variables (X) with the learning outcomes Indonesia Food Processing 1 (Y),has a positive and significant relationship with a correlation of 0.827, correlation coefficientsignificance test results tcount> T (11.577> 1.671).Keyword: Discipline is positively associated with student learning outcomes. table

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the practice of Student TeacherTeaching Competency Education D4 Makeup and Beauty inEducation Field Experience Program Implementation (PPLK) atvocational schools in West Sumatra. This research is descriptivequantitative. The population in this study were all teachers who haveled officials in conducting PPLK students at vocational schools inWest Sumatra, which totaled 19 people. The research instrumentused questionnaires using a Likert scale instrument validity andreliability have been analyzed and then the data is described usingpredefined categories of assessment to analyze the scores obtainedfrom each of the assessment indicators. Based on the results of dataanalysis obtained results are indicators of competency masterylearning materials students obtained the highest level of achievementrespondents unfavorable category with a score of 36.84%, anindicator of management competence learning program gained thehighest level of achievement in the category of respondents with ascore of 31.57 %, an indicator of competence using instructionalmedia respondents obtained the highest level of achievement in bothcategories with a score of 36.84%, an indicator of competencyAssessment of student learning outcomes obtained the highest levelof achievement respondents unfavorable category with a score of42.10%.Keyword: Persepsi Guru Pamong, Kompetensi Mahasiswa, Mahasiswa PPL

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the relationship of the use of libraries UNP with learning outcomes at the course hygiene and sanitation courses PKKFakulty Technical State University in Padang. The research method used isdescriptive quantitative type of ex-post facto correlational approach. Thesampling technique used in this study is random sampling with a sample of 70people. The results showed that Fhitung is 27.69, while the F table = 3.99.Fhitung> F table, it can be concluded that the relationship between thevariables X and Y is linear. The results of statistical tests show that there is apositive and significant correlation of 0538, the results of the significance testof correlation coefficient Sig (p) obtained was 0000. where 0.000 <0.05, thenHo is rejected. To the conclusion that there is a positive and significantrelationship between the use of the library to the value of subjects of hygieneand sanitation in the family welfare program student study culinaryconcentration PKK. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze relationship between food andhealth knowledge with food consumption frequency for elementary schoolstudents in SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This research was descriptivecorrelation. Population in this research was 75 students from IV, V, and VI classin SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Based on the result it was shows that thehighest percentage of student who has knowledge about food and health was infair category (44%). From the frequency of food consumption, the highestpercentage of student consumption is nugget (56%), while roasted meatball(55%), noodle sausage (54%), pempek (53%), and batagor (50%). The result alsoshows negative relationship between food and health knowledge withconsumption frequency of snack for elementary school students in SDPembangunan Laboratorium UNP. It is mean that the highest knowledge thatstudent have, the lesser frequency student to consume snack in SD PembangunanLaboratorium UNP.Keywords: knowledge, consumption frequency, food and health.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles to completing the final project students D3 programs in the Department of KK FTUNP. Focus in this study are the barriers in determining ideas / topicof the final project, obstacles in the title of the final projectsubmission procedures and obstacles in the process of counseling.This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collectiontechniques in this study using observation, interview anddocumentation. Mechanical extension of the validity of the data withobservations, increased persistence and triangulation. Resultsshowed students encounter in determining ideas / topics related tothe difficulty of the final project students get useful ideas, creativeand innovative. Barriers associated with the procedure to befollowed by students in proposing ideas / topics is the difficulty ingetting approval ideas / topics submitted from faculty advisors andacademic advisor often do not agree that the idea / topic raisedfrequently replaced. Barriers related to the counseling process withfaculty mentors, students collided with a lot of the problemsassociated with scheduling the guidance of faculty mentors, studentsdo not understand the advice and guidance given due to lack ofability to mentor students in grammar writing scientific papers, thelack of student interest in reading as well as hard to find literatureBarriers average student in the following competencies inmanufacturing women's clothing considered quite. Abstract

This research is descriptive quantitative research, the mainobjective of this study was to reveal about the readiness of studentsof SMK Negeri 3 Full River in implementing the Industrial Practiceindustrialized world. The population in this study amounted to 36people. Samples for the study were taken from the entire population(sampling saturated), all second grade students who are dressmakingindustry practices in the world industry. The data of this studyconsisted of primary data collected directly from respondents withinstruments such as questionnaires (measuring readiness Affectiveand Psychomotor) in the form of questions and tests (cognitivereadiness). From the research shows that the readiness of knowledge(cognitive) are at high category (79.9%), readiness attitudes(affective) that are in the category of very high (88.8%), andreadiness skills (psychomotor) are at high category (79 , 3%). Basedon the descriptive analysis and the results of data classification,grade II readiness fashion SMK 3 full river in implementing theindustrial world pratek industries classified as very high (85.5%)Kata kunci: Kesiapan Pengetahuan (Kognitif), Sikap (Afektif) danKeterampilan  (Psikmotor)

Abstract

This research to exspress about student learning habbit in Kria Tekstillearning with bordir technic at  vocational high school 8 of  padang State, includlearning habit, faithful learning, reading the book, and follow the axams. Thisresearch is kuantitative research to description and interprestation about  thestudent learning habbit. The sample is the student at X class, questioner with likertused to get data with percentase technic and the great level of responden. Theresult of the research indicate that learning habbit of student in  Kria tekstillearning use Bordir technic at vocasional high school  8 of Padang state at goodchategory. Abstract

The puprpose of this study is to see the relationship between parent’ seconomic and social statue to student’s study achievement at competition makingup of unwell face skin at SMKN 6 Padang. The form of this study is chorelationquantitative.  Population in this study is the 11th competent of keahlian tatakecantikan SMKN 6 Negeri Padang. Sampel of this study is the whole ofpopulation that consist of 30 student by using total sampling technique.  To knowof parent’s economic social statue, we use questioner which validity andrealibility is tested. Then to test the hypothesis is used chorelation test pearsonproduct moment.  Based on this study we can conclude that first, stage of thehighest respondent achievement  variable of parent’s economic and social statueare in lowest category (36,6%). Second, variable of student’s study achievementat competition making up of unwell face skin is not completed  as  much as 66,6%. Third, there are positive and significan relationship between parent’s economicand social statue to student’s study achievement.  Kata kunci : Status Sosial Ekonomi, Orang Tua, Hasil Belajar,
