Abstract

Old guidelines to use the whiteboard stated that teachers were not allowed to write on the whiteboard while talking, because unethical if speak while back facing students. Findings about thinking process profile in information processing were presented with a whiteboard showed that the assimilation process is going to be supported, and audio-visual stimulants. This paper aims to describe the implementation of the latest strategies to use fixed-whiteboard based on students thinking process in learning physics with maximum the optimal thought processes and also maintain cultural ethics. This research was conducted through the use of guideline development assessment implementation fixed-slates based on the findings of the process of thinking and ethical culture in physics learning. The results showed that the latest strategy the use of fixed-whiteboard based on the thought process students and ethical culture in learning physics are (1) the assimilation process so that the display contents whiteboard is a material that is correct and does not cause cognitive conflict, (2) they are mutually reinforcing a combination of visual and audio so that the need to write while spelling, and (3) the thinking process to the stage of internalization that stage of the emergence of good information text / image / formula can be seen intact by all students by writing not cover impressions. The implementation results show the subject has been able to implement the latest strategies use fixed-whiteboard with both categories. The conclusions of this study that the use of the latest strategies fixed-whiteboard can be used for the presentation of information which is more than usual for students according to their thinking process and also maintain cultural ethics. The implication of this research is for Workforce Education Institutions need to equip student teachers with the skills to use the whiteboard based on the latest strategy. How to CiteKristiyanto, W. Abstract

This research purpose is to describe religious values in Wedhatama by and its relevance to todays life. The method used is descriptive inferential, by describing religious values in Wedhatama which is in form of Pangkur, Sinom, Pucung, andGambuh, and after that, summarizing it. The analysis results in conclusion that Wedhatama by Mangkunagara IV contains high religious values, which is manifested in a belief that human beings depend on God and God is a source of salvation, so human beings should be close to or surrender deeply to God. Religious person is imagined in Wedhatama as prime being, who loves solitude, tawadu, always be humble (he is not angry when someone calls him stupid), has less desire, puts his trust in God and sincere, knows the end, learns the essence of desolation, responses well to his wishes, sensitive, kind hearted, and loves to meditate until he finds some divine revelations, and imitates behaviors like in fiqh. This is education model a la Javanese culture, which is still relevance to be done by all people in this world. How to CiteIsmawati, E. (2016). Abstract

This study is part of a development of problem solving learning model with aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology (Model PS-TRILOGI) to improve critical thinking skills and student understanding of Thermochemistry concepts. These objectives can be achieved if the model PS-TRILOGI is valid, practical, and effective. The study design followed the Research and Development. The effectiveness of the model PS-TRILOGI assessed by observers and implemented through the instrument test critical thinking skills and understanding of Thermochemistry concepts at 33 students in Chemistry Education Studies of Tadulako University. The results obtained showed that the percentage of positive responses given by students is very high due sense of excitement, novelty, interest, and support learning media are respectively 94.95%; 90.91%; 90.91% and 96.97%. Indicators that measure critical thinking skills is the interpretation, analysis, inference, and self-regulation. N-gain value for the indicator interpretation, analysis, and self-regulation in middle category of 0.5; while indicators inference at the high category of 0.7. Understanding of the Thermochemistry concept 13 students has a value n-gain of 0.8 to a high category. Based on the results obtained show that the model PS-TRILOGI is effective.

Abstract

Senior High School (SMA) is a school that provides French language lessons to students majoring in natural sciences and social sciences. There are also high schools that open special French class for students and some schools put French as a lesson for extra-curricular activities. From the analysis of the textbooks used by high school teachers, it is concluded that the textbooks / instructional materials that they use are less up to date and some are using compilation (compilation of texts drawn from various sources). Language teaching materials in the European Union are already equipped with Portfolio Europen des Langues (PEL) and of the literature found, PEL provides many benefits to learning foreign language. The benefit of PEL is not only for teachers but also for students. The above mentioned have been the reason to conduct this study, developing French teaching materials in high schools that integrate Portfolio Europen des langues (PEL) for French language learners in Indonesia. To initiate this study, the analysis of textbooks used by several high schools in Jakarta and surrounding areas had been conducted. Furthermore, it is then continued with the analysis of the needs of the PEL. To obtain the necessary data, this study uses interview questionnaire. The next step is to arrange French language teaching materials prototype for high school that integrates PEL. The prototype is reviewed by two experts in their field and have been revised, and then limited trials for high schools are conducted. How to CiteEkowati, S. H., & Purbarini, A. (2016). Abstract

This research aims to 1) find the reasons so that the learning of contextual-based IPS is effective to increase the student's character, 2) describes the effectiveness of IPS-based contextual learning to improve students ' character, 3) compare the effectiveness of IPS-based contextual learning with learning conventional IPS in an attempt to improve the character of students. This research uses qualitative and quantitative paradigms (mixed methods). The population in this research is grade VIII SMP Negeri in Surakarta (solo) and Boyolali district in Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Wonogiri, Sragen, Klaten and.
