Abstract

Abstract-ThesuccessfulimplementationofPLKisdeterminedby manyfactors,one ofthemistheteachingabilityofPLKstudents.Thisresearchwasconductedtofind outtheperceptionofsupervisorteachersonteachingability ofPLKstudentsat SMKN 1 TilatangKamang and SMKN 5 Padang. The population of this descriptiveresearchwas all 34engineering teacherswhoactedassupervisor at both schools inacademicyear2016/2017.The researchsample was taken by usingtotalsamplingtechnique.Datawerecollectedby usingLikertscale questionnaires. The researchresultshowedthatthe perceptionofsupervisorteacherson teachingability ofPLKstudents was in fair category;for pedagogiccompetency was 74.93%orin faircategory; forpersonality competencywas74.87% orin faircategory;for social competencywas73.66% or infair category; andforprofessionalcompetencywas76.54% or also in faircategory.                                                                                                      Key Word: perception, supervisor teacher, teaching ability

Abstract

Abstract—This research started from many students have difficulty in completing thesis course.The purpose of this study describesfactors causing low intrinsic motivation of students in completing thesis in civil engineering department FT UNP. This research is a descriptive research population of students Prodi PTB force 2010, 2011 and 2012 in who are still active and have taken thesis subject in the semester of January-June 2017 as many as 69 respondents. The sample of research is determined by proportional random sampling formula as many as 59 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires with Likert Scale consisting of 5 answers, consisting of positive and negative statements. Number of revelations on the questionnaire as many as 30 points.The results of this study indicate that the factors causing the low intrinsic motivation of students in completing the thesis are in the high category of 52.54%, with details of indicators as follows: 1) physical condition indicators are in the high category of 59.32%, 2) the psychological indicators are in the high category of 61.02% and 3) indicator of ideals are in very high category of 61.02%.Keywords:intrinsic factor, completing of thesis

Abstract

Abstract—The backgroud of this research is many accident occured during practicing stone and concrete subject. Based on accident occured this research answered the perception of student of SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman grade X Konstrusi Batu dan Beton against to the application during practicing. This is descriptive research. With number of sample is 22 students using technique of  Total Sampling, that sampling with equal amount with population. The data collected using questionnaires with Likert scale consist of 5 answers and 34 items of statement. Technique data analysis used by interpreting achievement scores of respondents from each indicator.The result of the research shows that there are perceptions of Grade X students of Konstruksi Batu dan Beton on the application of occupational health and safety of the four indicators that has the largest percentage in the indicator material safety and the medium category is 50%.Keywords:Perception, Health and safety

Abstract

Abstract— This research begins from the reality that there are many students who lack guidance from pamong teachers  while PPLK . Even let students teach in the classroom without being mentored first. This is due to many factors such as lack of communication between PPLK student and pamong teacher, and the appointment of pamong teachers who do not appropriate procedures. This rsearch is to reveal the student perceptions of S-1 PTB on the guidance of pamong teachers in PPLK activities among semester July to December 2016. This type of research is descriptive-quantitative research with population of all students PPLK semester July-December 2016 Prodi S-1 PTB UNP which are 72 people. The sample is 72 students using total sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is using formula percentage F / N x 100%, then result of processed data percentage seen in category percentage of achievement. The results of this study is shows the perception between of PPLK students of S-1 PTB UNP to the guidance of teachers pamong is enough. In accordance with the percentage of achievement obtained is 78%. The percentage between teaching and non teaching activity achievement was also 78%. And then, most of the PPLK students of S-1 program of PTB UNP semester of July-December 2016 has more positve perception about pamong teachers. Keywords: Student Perception, PPLK, Guidance, Pamong Teacher

Abstract

Abstract—. This research to reveal the relationship of students' perceptions about the learning process with the learning outcomes of Technical Drawing Course of students of Class X TGB SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The type of this research is a correlational descriptive research. The samples were 49 students taken by using total sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Analysis requirements test, consisting of normality test and linearity test, and 3) Test of Hypothesis. The result of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning process with the learning outcomes of Technical Drawing Courses of students of Class X TGB SMKN 2 Payakumbuh, with 95% confidence level. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient value of 0.552, means that the relationship lies in moderate category.Keywords: Student Perception, Learning Process, Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract—This research is motivated from the high percentage of unemployed vocational high school graduates and low interest of students to entrepreneurship in accordance with the field of expertise it has. This study aims to reveal the Contribution of Learning Outcomes of Entrepreneurship Training Course to Students Entrepreneurship Interest in Class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto.The type of this research is correlation research with population of all students of class XI Department of Building Image Engineering as many as 183 people. The sample of 126 students is taken using proportional random sampling technique. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to students, while secondary data is the result of learning in the form of semester grades of students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Test requirements analysis, consisting of normality test and linearity test to prove that the distribution of data derived from samples of normal and linear distributed, and 3) Hypothesis Testing.From the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded with the Contribution of Learning Outcomes of Entrepreneurship Training Course on Students Entrepreneurship Interest in Class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto of 28.62%, the remaining 71.38% is owned by other factors not examine.Keywords:Interest, Entrepreneurship, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract—The background of this research is the absence of subjects K3 in S1 Engineering Education Building program. Therefore, needed to know the extent to which the understanding of science K3 before students implement the Industrial Field Practice (PLI) and how the level of understanding of students’ knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (K3).The type of this research is descriptive study. The population of this research is 63 students of Undergraduate Engineering Education Program Entrance Year 2015 active in semester of July-December 2017. While the sample of research is 33 students of Undergraduate Engineering Education Program Entry in the year 2015 semester of July-December 2017. The primary data obtained through problem disseminated to respondent, while the secondary data obtained from the number of students of Engineering Engineering Education Undergraduate Year 2015. Research instrument is a test (questions) in the form of multiple choices. The problem was given to undergraduate students of EngineeringEducation Building Program in 2015 that had not implemented the PLI. The number of questions on the test is 42 questions. Before to conduct the research, the first step is in trial test, the aim is to know the level of difficulties and different power from the questions. The revie result in understanding of Occupational Safety and Health before the implementation of Industrial Field Practice (PLI) are: 1) based on the indicators of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) understanding on self and Civil Engineering Student Worker S1 PTB UNP academic year 2015 before the Implementation of PLI was low (59,89), 2) understanding of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on Civil Engineering Student Environment S1 PTB UNP academic year 2015 before PLI implementation was low (64,50). Keywords:Understanding, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial FieldPractice

Abstract

Abstract-This research is motivated by the condition of education in Indonesia deteriorating. The high cost of education generating the dropout rate, especially the higher the middle level. The PIP program is rolled out to overcoming the problem. The purpose of this research is to knowing the utilization of busary PIP used by students and the there is or there no of influence PIP program  to student outcomes learning SMK N1 Tilatang Kamang. Type of research used is research expost facto with descriptive research method. The population of  students of SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang received PIP is counted to 120 students. The sample of research is 55 students by using technique of Propotional Random Sampling. The research instrument used is a questionnaire with Likert scale. The research trial was conducted on 30 students recipient of PIP in SMKN 1 Tilatang Kamang. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the bursary received by students  used to buy school clothes and school supplies, transprotation fees and pocket money, as well as for the cost prakerin is exploited  goodness  by students. Student learning outcomes between before with after receiving  PIP there is an increase and there is also a decrease. A total of 31 students (56.36%) of the 55 students who received the  PIP improved learning outcomes, and as many as 24 students (43.64%) of 55 students experienced a decrease in learning outcomes.                                                                                                      Key Word: PIP bursary, utilization, study result

Abstract

Abstract-The number of unemployment is expected to be relatively high for SMK graduates because SMK graduates not fully prepared for work.. When traced, student’s interested in SMKN 2 Bengkulu majoring civil is still low to work. Based on that fact, this experiment purposes to analysis the correlation about students interested to work and their readiness for work on industrial global of class XI majoring civil in SMKN 2 Bengkulu. Population in this analysis are students of civil majoring in SMKN 2 Bengkulu with total of 48 people using total sampling method. The analysis technique that we use are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Requirement test analysis that consist of normality test and linearity test, and 3) Hypothesis test. Based on this analysis result, we could conclude there is a correlation between students interested to work and their readiness for work on industrial global of class XI majoring civil in SMKN 2 Bengkulu by 95% credibility. This can be seen from the coefficient value at 0.822, in the category of 0.80-1000 with a very strong relationship level.                                                                                                      Key Word: contribution, work interest, readiness of student work

Abstract

Abstract— This research was conducted because the percentage of students of Building Engineering Education Study Program that do not pass in Mechanical Engineering is quite high. The purpose is to reveal the relationship between metacognitive awareness with the learning result of Student Engineering Mechanics of PTB Program of Civil Engineering Department of FT UNP2015 and 2016. This research is correlational research with quantitative approach, with sample of 62 respondents. This Research using Instrument Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) adapted from Schraw and Dennison (1994). Measurement scale using guttman scale with 2 choices of answers, yes or no. The data were analyzed using SPSS 17.00 program and it was found that the metacgnitive awareness and learning achievement was strongly correlated with rhitung 0,502 and rtabel was 0,250. Level of correlation and the strength of the relationship between the two variables is strong enough meaning, the two variables have a reciprocal relationship, if students metacogntif awareness high, then student learning outcomes will be high. Conversely, if metacognitive awareness is low, then learning outcomes will be low as well. Keywords: Metacognitive Awareness, Learning Outcomes
