Abstract

This study aims to analyze and prove the effect of compensation, work discipline and work environment on work motivation, both partially and jointly, and the effect of compensation, work discipline, work environment and work motivation on organizational commitment, both partially and collectively. The research method used in this research is descriptive survey method and explanatory survey with a population of 1,339 employees and a sample size of 224 respondents, and the data analysis method used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Based on the results of the study, then obtained the findings of structure I, compensation and work environment is partially significant effect on work motivation, while labor discipline no significant effect, but together all exogenous positive and significant effect on work motivation with the value of the contribution (R2) by 50%. Partially, the compensation variable has the most dominant influence on work motivation. In the second structure, compensation, work discipline, work environment and work motivation partially and jointly positive and significant impact on faculty commitment to the value of the contribution (R2)equal to 76%. Partially, the compensation variable has the most dominant influence on lecturer commitment. The work motivation plays a role as partial mediating, where the increase in lecturer commitment is influenced by compensation and the work environment is mediated by work motivation. Meanwhile, work discipline can have a direct effect on lecturer commitment even though they are not motivated.

Abstract

One of the informal sector Micro and Small Business actors who feel the significant impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is street vendors (PKL). This study aims to explain the business strategy of street vendors in order to be able to maintain their survival in the businesses that will be carried out (PKL) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is included in qualitative research. From the results of the research, the marketing strategy used by street vendors in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is by using social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, telegram, and joining other online businesses such as shopee, go-food, and grap- food. By using social media, buyers and traders can easily make transactions without having to touch. it can be explained that the survival strategy can work as expected by paying attention to the purchasing power of consumers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of nurses and service quality at the Anmarsu Hospice Care Mental Hospital. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, by collecting primary data sources through interviews with the Managing Director of RSJ Anmarsu Hospice Care, the Chairperson of the Anmarsu Hospice Care Hospital, the Finance Department, and two secondary nurses obtained from reviewing employee quality improvement documents. The analysis used is the content analysis technique using the Balanced Scorecard measuring instrument. The results of this study consisted of three parts, namely the first part with an approach to overall measurement obtained 23 points x 2 = 46 points, the second part with a specific type of measurement approach to the organization obtained 140 points, and the third part with a reporting approach and data analysis obtained 48 points x 2 = 96 points. Based on the results of the overall score calculation, a total score of 282 points is obtained, which means that the Anamrsu Hospice Care Mental Hospital has a very good approach in measuring organizational performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation, fiscal services and tax sanctions through financial conditions on individual taxpayer compliance, either partially or simultaneously. The research design used in the preparation of this research is quantitative associative causal with descriptive explanation. The method of analysis used is path analysis with a total sample size of 100 respondents and the sampling technique used is the random sampling technique. The results of hypothesis testing prove that work motivation has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance by 0.139. Fiskus services have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance by 0.178. Tax sanctions have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance with a coefficient value of 0.553. The results of the simultaneous analysis prove that motivation, tax authorities, tax sanctions and financial conditions have a significant effect with a determination coefficient of 0.950 or 95%, the rest is explained by other variables outside of this study. Meanwhile, the results of moderation analysis (through) prove that motivation, tax authorities and tax sanctions through financial conditions have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the influence between job satisfaction and motivation of achievement on managerial performance with affective commitment as an intervening variable in Kejaksaan Tinggi Kalimantan Timur area. This research is classified as quantitative research that is expected to measure the influence between variables. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires with sampling techniques are saturated samples, as many as 60 respondents. Data processing is done using SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). The results of this study showed that job satisfaction, performance motivation and affective commitment each had a significant positive effect on managerial performance. The results of the analysis also showed that affective commitment mediates the indirect influence between job satisfaction and the motivation of achievement on managerial performance and the nature of partial mediation. The meaning of this research is that the better employee job satisfaction and the higher the motivation of employee achievement, the higher the affective commitment that will further improve employee performance.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 outbreak in May 2020 there has been a shift in work patterns and systems in various agencies and companies, including the government. This is done as a form of adaptation to the situation, especially in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. But on the other hand the organization must continue to run, therefore there is a work from home work model. This concept exists because of circumstances, so that various shortcomings arise, one of which is work activities do not run effectively and have an impact on decreasing employee performance. In fact, this research was conducted to find out this phenomenon, and what factors have linearity on employee performance. The research method used in answering the research hypothesis is quantitative with statistical regression (forecasting). The research sample was BPPT employees totaling 80 people, with a simple random sampling technique. The results of the study recommend that the model that best improves performance during the pandemic is the simultaneous model. This means that factors directly related to employee performance have a major impact on improving performance, including high morale, proportional workload, and career openness. In other words, institutions must be sensitive to the determinants of performance, both under normal circumstances or in a pandemic.
