Abstract

The Department of Worship and Care (DEPDATSU) is a sub-section of the extracurricular activities of the Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Islamic Boarding School (OSPI) in Indralaya. Depdatsu has an important role to instill the discipline of students in participating in orderly worship activities. In the midst of the many activities held at the pesantren, there are still a number of students who are not disciplined in attending the prayer activities in the mosque. The purpose of this study is to uncover the effect of the effectiveness of the Depdatsu work program on increasing the discipline of prayer in the congregation of students at the Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya. This type of research is quantitative descriptive field research (field research). The population was 209 XI MA Al-Ittifaqiah students and 68 students were sampled. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The research data were analyzed using a statistical test with the Product Moment Correlation formula. The results showed that the effectiveness of the Depdatsu work program at Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School was included in the moderate category of 48 people (70%) or could be said to be quite effective. While the discipline of prayer in congregation of students at Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School is included in the high category of 30 people (44%) or can be said to be very good. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the product moment formula, it can be seen that at the 5% significance level or the accuracy level of the study of 95%, the value of t_ (count) 6.015> t_table 1.998 means the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the effectiveness of the Depdatsu work program on improving the discipline of the santri congregational prayer at Al-Ittfaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya

Abstract

This study discusses the Community that was founded in the city of Palembang, which cares about the lives of street children condition, especially in the city of Palembang. Street children who do not get an education either at school or at home. There are 117 children in the city ofPalembang unable to attend school. The data was obtained from the Palembang ministry of social services. Education is an important thing for street children to meet the future, with the education process can help children achieve what they dream ofThe research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach and data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation obtained through primary data, namely administrators and volunteer who teach as resource person. For the analysis of the data themselves the authors use data reduction, data presentation and data verification.The results obtained through the field, interview with management of the South Sumatera Children Voulenteer the role of the community of South Sumatera children’s volunteers in forming the self confidance character education of street children in Palembang has Supporting and inhibiting factors, these supporting factors include: (1) Support from the goverment Palembang city in the from of financial aid and learning. (2) Teachers or educators. (3) Facilities for learning and teaching and learning equipment. The inhibiting factors include: (1) Students. and (2) Schedule.

Abstract

Character education and moral education are values education that both emphasize the importance of a process. Therefore, both prioritize and prioritize lengthy practice and habituation. In a long and continuous training process, a child is given freedom and opportunity to be able to understand, feel and predict good actions. As with the policy carried out by the MTs Negeri 1 Palembang school in creating student morals through habituation, which is shown from several school activities. One of the character education leaders in Indonesia, Ratna Megawangi, also offers a method for character formation, namely the concept of 4 M (knowing, loving, desiring, acting) the good continuously. So, how exactly is the reliance between the concepts introduced by Ratna Megwangi and the process of creating the morals of students at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang.The type of research used is the type of case study research. The research approach is using a qualitative approach. Furthermore, the method of data collection is done by observing methods, interviews, documentation, library research. Data analysis techniques by data reduction, data presentation and data verification.The results obtained are the concept of 4 M (Knowing, Loving, Desiring, Acting) character education Ratna Megawangi has a relevance in creating student morals at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. As a statement from one of the informants said that the concept or method introduced by Ratna Megawangi is quite relevant in the process of creating student morals, because character or character cannot be shaped if it is through a theoretical learning process, but must involve other aspects such as emotions, cognitive, affective, psychomotor. Student character education is a process for carving morals through the process of knowing goodness, loving kindness, wanting goodness and doing good. It shows an educational process that involves cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, so that noble character can be engraved into a habit of mind, heart and hands.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are a series of additional activities carried out outside of class hours with the aim of enriching and expanding the potential aspects of the interests, talents and abilities of students held by the school in accordance with the school regulations. Discussion is a discussion of a topic with a view to formulating a common interest and the purpose of this activity is to find a solution to the problem discussed. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the relationship between extracurricular activities and student activity in discussions at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang.This type of research used in this research is quantitative (non-experimental) research using simple statistical analysis techniques using the percentage formula and product moment technique. The sample used in this study was class VIII totaling 177 students taken by random sampling technique, the sample amounted to 36 students. To obtain data the author uses the method of observation, questionnaires, and documentation.Based on the results of the analysis of research data, the correlation value calculation shows the number rxy = 0.95, this means that there is a positive relationship (unidirectional) between extracurricular activities with student activity in discussion. Viewed from the level of 1% = 0.4238 and the level of 5% = 0.3291 means that the table> r then the consequence is (Ha) is accepted (Ho) is rejected. And it can be concluded that the correlation value of 0.95 obtained is not negative, because it is in the range of the relationship between 0.40-0.70 on the interpretation of the value of 'r' product moment, it can be known that the variable X and Y are very strong, from the analysis these data, thus the proposed hypothesis is accepted, and there is a significant or very strong relationship between the two variables X and Y variables.

Abstract

Education has an important role in improving the quality of a nation, quality education will create a quality generation as well. This century requires students to have the skills to be ready to face existing challenges. Education is directed at preparing students who have skills, especially the ability to think critical thinking or critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing cooperative learning model lerning, greeting techniques and questions on critical thinking skills. This research uses quantitative research, with samples using saturated sampling techniques. The data obtained in this study were obtained from the results of a questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. Further analyzed with the collected data then recapitulated after the data was collected from various sources, then the data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis techniques.After analyzing the effect of the application of the cooperative learning model learning the technique of sending greetings and questions on the skills of students at the Pondok Pesentren Putri Azzahro Palembang using the product moment correlation formula, it can be stated that there is a significant effect between the two variables, namely the application of the cooperative learning model, the technique of sending greetings and questions and Skills. This is indicated by ttable = 2.23 and tcount = 2.36, then tcount> ttable. Then the coefficient of determination / destermination is 12%. This shows the effect of the application of the Cooperative Learning Technique Learning Model on the Skills of Students at Pondok Pesentren Putri Azzahro Palembang. While the remaining 88% critical thinking skills at Pondok Pesentren Putri Azzahro Palembang are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on cases in the field where students did not provide many statements and questions before the teacher asked questions, students saw problems from the same point of view as other friends, students were less than optimal in generating new ideas, and from existing ideas students had not optimally developed them. Therefore, the metaphorming learning model will be applied to increase the creativity of students' thinking. This research is an experimental research (true experimental design) with an approach quantitative. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were students of class XI MAN 2 Palembang with sample selection through probability sampling (cluster random sampling). The research instruments used were tests and observations. The test used is a test of description and observation. The method of analysis uses the normality test which aims to determine whether the data comes from normally distributed samples, the homogeneity test is to ensure that the data comes from a homogeneous population. If the data is normally distributed and homogeneous then it is continued by using the t-test. Data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing using the ttest at the 0.05 level of confidence obtained tcount = -1.303 and ttable = 1.671. Then the value of tcount < ttable. In the pretest Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected or there was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class because they had not been given treatment. The posttest hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 11,129 and ttable = 1,670. Then the value of tcount > ttable. It can be concluded that in the posttest Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

Jihad has a very broad scope of meaning, in this context what is meant by jihad is in the sense of educating and teaching knowledge to fight ignorance and moral decay. In order to fight ignorance and moral decay, a teacher must meet the standards of professional competence and have the spirit of jihad in him. This study aims to describe a case study of the implementation of the concept of the spirit of jihad in the teaching profession. The forms of the spirit of jihad in a teacher can be seen from the nature and personality of a teacher such as sincere, patient personality and unyielding nature as well as optimism in carrying out all orders and obligations. The research method used a qualitative approach and data collection was carried out using interview and observation techniques, while the data were analyzed using Milles and Huberman's data analysis theory and checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques.The spirit of jihad from the perspective of IDIA teachers is to mobilize all their potential to teach the knowledge they have by hoping for Allah's blessing without expecting material rewards. This is implemented in the form of sincerity in carrying out their duties, discipline in all things, patient in dealing with and responding to students, being serious in all things, praying for students and evaluating well and being able to take advantage of the results of student evaluations to develop lesson plans. which is even better according to the level of ability of students and the character of students.

Abstract

Al-Quran in the holy book as well as a guide for life in the world for muslims. There are so many exclamations in the verses of the koran that contain educational values, one of which is through the stories of previous people. This paper aims to review how to recognize the stories in the Koran, the kinds of stories, the storytelling techniques, and what educational value they contain. The method used in this paper is a research library with a philosophical approach that functions to conduct content analysis through conceptual and linguistic analysis. Literature study using books, articles and various relevant journals as data sources, then analyzed and set forth in a narrative form. The results of this study conclude that the stories in the Al-Quran are the history of those that tell about the events of the prophet and apostles, as well as the previous people. The story contains moral advice which can be used as a guide for the daily life of Muslims, which is written in an interesting manner. There are several educational values in the story of the Koran, including the value of religious education, the value of intellectual education and the value of moral education. In Addition, Al-Quran stories can be used as a learning method through interesting and media.
