Abstract

Evaluation Analysis of Teaching and Learning Process forthe Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Program of West Sumatera Muhammadiyah Unversity in the Post Accreditation of B. This evaluation of TLP (Teaching and Learning Process) is done as a source to analyze the acquireeachievements after the enactment of the 2016 curriculum. The analitical results are expected as input to be able to further quality improvement ofeducation inthe Mechanical Engineeringprogramof West Sumatera Muhammadiyah University. The evaluation was done by giving questions to 17 students of 2017 class and 14 students of2018 class for 32 courses inthe semester of 1, 2, 3 and 4. Questions were made in the statementof 12 sentences, That are foursentences regarding to the material understanding, foursentences regarding to the learning process and foursentences regarding to the teaching process. Number 1 means not-agree, 2 means disagree, 3means quite agree, 4 means agree and 5means strongly agree. If this statement is truly agreed, it means that the TLP process has gone well as expected. Recapitulation of all answering results is obtained an average of 3.92, very close to the number 4 (agree)which may be interpreted thatthe educational process in the Mechanical Engineering programof West Sumatera Muhammadiyah Unversityis satisfiedappropriateto an accreditation obtainedof B. The answering variations of statements regardingmaterial understanding should probably become special attention to be reviewed. Abstract

This research was conducted to study the factors that influence the influence of brand image store atmosphere and consumer innovation on consumer repurchase intentions on Ahmad Yani McDonald's. The independent variables in this study are store atmosphere, brand image, and consumer innovation, while consumer repurchase intentions are used as the dependent variable. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling so that 170 respondents were obtained as research samples. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression, where the results obtained are store atmosphere, brand image and consumer innovation have a significant influence and positive value. Abstract

This research was conducted aimed to determine the effect of learning behavior from failure on subjective wellbeing through organization crisis preparedness as a mediating variable. The method used in this study is quantitative, data collection by questionnaire, sampling is done by convenience sampling with a sample of 216 people but 200 questionnaires were returned. Data analysis techniques using structural equation models (SEM). The results obtained from this study indicate a negative relationship between learning behavior from failure and subjective wellbeing but do not have a significant effect, and from mediation analysis found no mediating influence through organizational crisis preparedness on learning behavior from failure with subjective wellbeing. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, organizational culture on employee performance and work motivation as mediation for Rocky Hotel Padang contract employees. This study uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to Rocky Hotel Padang contract employees. Sampling was carried out using the census method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 questionnaires. In this study the authors used the PLS - SEM analysis technique.The results showed that compensation, organizational culture had a positive effect on the performance of Rocky Hotel Padang contract employees, both directly and indirectly. The performance of Rocky Hotel Padang contract employees was 88.6% influenced by compensation, organizational culture, and motivation of contract employees of Rocky Hotel Padang 64.8% were affected by compensation, organizational culture, and the rest were influenced by other variables not examined in the study this. Abstract

Perbanyakan secara generatif tanaman delima mempunyai kendala karena benih delima yang memiliki sifat dormansi, dimana kulit benih nya sangat keras.Struktur kulit benih yang keras diduga dapat menghalangi benih berkecambah.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan interaksi terbaik antara konsentrasi dan lama perendaman benih delima di dalam air kelapa muda, mendapatkan konsentrasi perendaman air kelapa muda yang tepat dan mendapatkan lama perendaman dalam air kelapa muda yang tepat untuk mematahkan dormansi benih delima. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap ( RAL ) Faktorial dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan, dengan faktor pertama konsentrasi perendaman yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu konsentrasi air kelapa muda 50 %, 75% dan 100% dan faktor kedua lama perendaman terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu selama 6 jam, 12 jam, 18 jam dan 24 jam. Data pengamatan dianalisis dengan uji F taraf nyata 5% dan F hitung perlakuan lebih besar dari pada F tabel dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi perendaman dan lama perendaman benih delima di dalam air kelapa muda.Konsentrasi perendaman tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pematahan dormansi benih delima. Lama perendaman benih tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pematahan dormansi benih delima. Kata kunci :Benih delima, dormansi, konsentrasi, perendaman

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to find out the analysis of transformational leadership style and organizational justice towards employee performance mediated by employee engagement, studies on Kawana Padang hotel employees. The independent variables in this study include transformational leadership style, organizational justice. while employee performance is used as the dependent variable, and employee engagement as a mediating variable. The sampling technique is done by sampling saturated which makes the entire population as a sample obtained by 50 employees. The data analysis technique used in this study is logistic regression, where the results obtained are transformational leadership style, organizational justice, and employee engagement significantly and positively influencing employee performance. Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to find out the factors that influence turnover intention by mediating employee engagement at Bank Nagari employees of Padang City Center in 2016-2019. Independent variables in this research are organizational justice and employer branding, turnover intention is used as dependent variable, and employee engagement is used as a mediating variable. The technique of determining the number of samples is the Isaac & Michael table with level of 10% so that 133 employees are obtained as samples in this research. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis using SPSS and validity and reliability testing using SmartPLS. Where the results obtained are organizational justice and employer branding has a significant and negative effect on turnover intention and there is an indirect effect of employee engagement. Abstract

In many countries, tax is one of the main foreign exchange earners in supporting national development so that it becomes a collection that has logical consequences in living as a society, nation and state as a reflection of justice and prosperity. Taxes are imposed on every citizen who has the obligation to pay taxes. In the teachings of Islam there are groups of people who are obliged to spend a small portion of their wealth as zakat, ie those who have been categorized as able to give alms. Zakat means to issue a certain amount of assets owned to be given to people who are entitled to receive it, materially zakat can create economic growth for people poor people. Called zakat because it contains hope to obtain blessings, cleanse the soul and cultivate it with various virtues, zakat can also foster cleanliness and blessing on possessions. During the time of Rasulullah and Khulafaurrosidin Zakat was imposed on residents who were Muslim, while taxes were imposed on non-Muslim residents, so that no population was affected by the dual obligation of zakat and tax. Basically, the purpose of tax and zakat is the same, namely as a source of funds to create a just and prosperous society that is equitable and sustainable between material and spiritual needs. Basically, taxes are used to finance activities in the development sector and sector, as well as the distribution of zakat to mustahik, especially the poor and the poor, is expected to support economic life so that it can help national economic development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the waste optimization strategy at PT XYZ during 2013 - 2018. Sources of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data sourced from interviews with company management, Annual Company Reports and data from related units at the company The research results show that during the research period waste optimization provides benefits both financially and non-financially. Financially, the benefits of waste optimization are still fluctuating. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the factors that influence the initial return on the initial public offering of non-financial companies for the period of 2016 to 2018. The variables in this research are return on assets, debt to equity ratio, earnings per share, company size, appointed underwriter, and auditor reputation, and initial returns. The sampling technique is purposive sampling and we get 86 companies. The data analysis technique is multiple regression, where the results obtained are return of assets and auditor’s reputation is insignificant and positive of initial returns, debt to equity ratio and company size is insignificant and negative. Earnings per share variable and the influence of underwriters have a significant and positive effect.
