Abstract

Kota Tarakan adalah salah satu kota yang berkembang di provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Dalam upaya mempromosikan pengembangan dan pengembangan ekonomi kota Tarakan, Bandara Juwata ada di bandara yang perlu ditingkatkan kapasitasnya. Penelitian tentang aliran air di drainase Bandara Juwata diharapkan untuk menentukan kapasitas saluran drainase pada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perhitungan data curah hujan seri parsial dan distribusi log normal dan perhitungan debit yang dianalisis dimana perhitungan laju aliran menggunakan rumus manning dan kemudian perhitungan input pada HEC-RAS 4.1.0. Berdasarkan perhitungan, diperoleh desain debit 0,367 m3 / s dengan dimensi lebar bawah rencana saluran (B) = 0,64 m: tinggi saluran (H) = 1,08 m dengan air tinggi = 0,56 m sedangkan lebar bawah saluran yang ada ( B) = 1,04 m;

Abstract

Floating port is a barge made of rectangular steel or concrete that can float to adjust the water lavel. Barge is a cargo ship type do not have a propulsion system. So, design of floating port preferably aqual to ship design. There are 3 types of barge construction system, that are longitudinal system, transversal system and mixed construction. To get the optimal design of floating port, comparison of design based on the construction system is needed. Case study in this research ia a Tideng Pale-KTT floating port. Deformation and stress analysis using FEA method on 2 models of construction system, that are transversal and longitudinal. Based on results, both of construction system produce a good strength value. However, there are some construction component which does not match the placement of the construction system. Results of construction costs have 5,51% deviation, longitudinal sytem is more expensive. So, produce the hypotheses to do a combination for both of construction systems.

Abstract

Wilayah Hargosari terletak di daerah karst Gunungsewu yang dikenal sebagai daerah subur dan kurang air terutama selama musim kemarau. Secara geologis, tersusun oleh batu gamping yang berpotensi menyebabkan sungai bawah tanah sebagai akibat dari proses pelarutan. Metode VLF-EM digunakan untuk mengetahui pola sungai bawah tanah terkait dengan kontras parameter fisik konduktif yang disebabkan oleh keberadaan air di lubang batugamping. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan jejak dan pola sungai bawah tanah Bribin serta pemodelannya menggunakan perangkat lunak lnv2DVLF. Interpretasi kualitatif dilakukan berdasarkan pada pengolahan data yang telah dikoreksi topografi menggunakan filter moving average dan filter Karous-Hjelt, sedangkan interpretasi kuantitatif menggunakan program lnv2DVLF dan divisualisasikan menggunakan Surfer 12. Berdasarkan interpretasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sungai bawah tanah Bribin mengalir dari arah timur ke barat melalui wilayah Hargosari, dan terdiri dari dua aliran sungai bawah tanah yang saling berhubungan. Lebar area konduktif adalah (25 ± 5) m pada kisaran kedalaman sekitar 148-184 m.

Abstract

Given the contours of the island of Borneo are numerous plateaus, allowing roads to be constructed in mountainous areas or hilly, it can be seen on the streets shaft North Kalimantan namely Tanjung Selor – Tana Tidung road on the path Tanjung Selor – Tana Tidung road there is a level of steepness high whitout made retaining wall can be causing landslides that could be dangerous for road users and surrounding residents. This can occur as a result of soil instability especially when coupled with high rainfall, It is necessary to retaining that handy to withstand the preassures in the soil so that the soil does not move and headed towards the bottom. With the development of science, the more ways you can use to avoid or rectify the land / area avalanche of one of them by making a retaining wall.

Abstract

Increasing transportation mode becomes the increase of vehicles on the roads, it will impact to the pollution. The phenomena that appear in the last few years in the study areas is the rumble strips one solution for management transportation to give shock effect for road users that aware, however, it will be impacted to nosing and vibration on the roads. The research will be researcher noise level and vibration the heavy vehicles impact with case study Bengkalis island. The result indicated that the higher the heavy vehicles speed the smaller the vibration, while the noise level is getting bigger.

Abstract

As the population growth in absorb area, there is a significant increase over the function of land water absorb for the needs of investment in a large scale to reduce the absorbing drought during the dry season which able the availability of water sources PDAM especially PDAM at Persemaian in Tarakan City. The analysis method and processing of data in this research was used analysis descriptive, where the data was separated from the number either primary data namely the collection of data from survey in the field and secondary data was the supporting data which was obtained from the relevant institution like BPS and PDAM of Tarakan City then those were separated based on the data characteristic. The data analysis consists of: 1). calculation project of clean water needs at PDAM persemaian in Tarakan City until 2026. 2). The analysis of pipeline distribution network PDAM at Persemaian in Tarakan City by using the program Epanet 2.0. From the calculation of the total population in 2026 was 127.183 soul, and ba sed on the calculation of the average water needs in 2026 was 191,9216 ltr/sec, the maximum needs was 220,7099 lte/sec, so it obtained the needs of clean water until 2026 at the top of 335,8629 ltr/sec. Based on the calculation using epanet 2.0 obtained th e highest pressure score was 9,39 atm (kg/cm 2 ) in junction 131 along 93,96 m and the lowest pressure was 1,10 atm (kg/cm 2 ) in junction 228 along 11,04 m, mean while the highest score of head was 110,83 m in junction 1 and the lowest score of head was 37,00 m in junction 225. Therefore, in 2026 based on the condition of existing pipelines distribution network now, they still can be used in the research location.

Abstract

Problems encountered in this research is the occurrence of foundation damage pier dock building PT. Reliance Refinery in Gujarat Province of India resulting in dock structure under sub standard condition, unsafe condition and at any time dock structure may experience colapse. The specific point of this problem is the dock building is supported by a 120 cm diameter pile foundation with a height of 14 meters above ground level and over 200 meters towards the Indian Ocean. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of how the specifications of materials, work equipment and methods of implementing the repair of damaged pier building foundations. Improvement using pile encapsulation method is by cleaning the damaged piling surface with water jeting and mechanical, installing FRP jacketing cover and grouting with underwater material specifications epoxy grout. The improvement results show the epoxy grout and FRP jacket bonding well to the existing piling surface. This repair method is proven to improve the damage of the piling and protect the piling against corrosion, abrasion, scouring and mechanical impact. These improvements have been replicated to address similar problems in Canada, Australia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Abstract

Jl. Yos Sudarso is one of the centers of movement in Tarakan or a business zone. Jl. Yos Sudarso has experienced an increase in road load and a decrease in the level of road services which will eventually cause traffic problems, namely the effectiveness of reduced traffic performance. To find out the analysis of traffic performance due to the arrangement of the vehicle movement system on Yos Sudarso Tarakan road, traffic surveys are carried out, such as traffic volume, traffic speed, road capacity, and degree of saturation. After the road performance analysis, the characteristics and conditions of the road were obtained, the average total volume was 1399.92 pcu / hour, the average degree of saturation on the Yos Sudarso road in the direction of Kusuma Bangsa was 0.53, while the direction of Mulawarman was 0,55. Thus the average performance along Yos Sudarso road includes the C service level. By looking at these conditions it is necessary to increase the clear traffic flow regulation system such as traffic signal so that it can reduce the congestion that occurs on these roads. The construction of the coastal road frontage line and the construction of the access road network will provide benefits in the form of a road network in the western part of Tarakan city, reducing traffic density points.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance on a single weave that occurred on Jl.Niaga I - Jl. Yos Sudarso, Tarakan City. The performance is capacity, degree of saturation, speed, and travel time. With these performance parameters serve as based of planning in transportation infrastructure. The results of this study are also expected to provide recommendations to users, planners and policy makers in an effort to solve traffic problems, especially to reduce the delay that occurs in a single wave that occurred on Jl Niaga I-Jl. Yos Sudarso Kota Tarakan.

Abstract

The rumble strips phenomena in Indonesia aims to decrease speed and vibration effect for vehicles. Actually, the use of rumble strips in the Bengkalis island is not optimal, as does not reduce the speed of vehicles and always ignore the effect of the trill inflicted in the rumble strips for reasons of getting high speed and the less effect shakes posed. The purpose of this research is to find the shockwave on the road by using Greenshields method. Base on the result of this research, shockwave value as big as -30,299 km/h indicated the increase of vehicles in the rumble strips
