Abstract

This thesis entitled Petroleum Development in South Sumatra in the year (1945-1950). This research is based on the writer's desire to know in depth and describe the development of petroleum in South Sumatra in 1945 to 1950. This study uses historical methods, namely those through the Heuristic stage, criticism of sources of interpretation, and historiography with approaches to geography, politics, economics, and sociology through literature studies to obtain the truth and present it in written form. As for the problems discussed in this research are how the development in the oil field at the beginning of the independence of the proclamation in 1945, how the former oil labor organization formed which had worked in oil refineries, and how the efforts of oil diplomacy during the revolution period from 1945 to 1950. The actual development process begins with people's efforts to take over energy resources, namely in the form of oil mines and elements of facilities from the hands of the invaders. supported by republican leaders in South Sumatra such as Dr. Ak Gani, Dr. M Isa and others. from the spirit of independence, then the formation of an association organization consisting of ex oil workers namely Lasykar, PPM, Movement of the owl and PEMIRI. which then united by using oil diplomacy efforts in stages so that the Republic of Indonesia could benefit the oil in South Sumatra. Abstract

This thesis entitled the influence of the Problem Solving method on student learning outcomes in history subjects in class X of SMA 1 Mendo Barat Bangka. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of the Problem Solving method on student learning outcomes in history subjects in SMA 1 Mendo Barat Bangka. This study uses an experimental method that is treatment and without treatment. The population in this study were all class X which amounted to 171 students, while the study sample was taken by Random Sampling technique so that it was obtained as a sample of 74 students namely the experimental class (class X IPA 1) amounting to 37 students and the control class (class X IPA 2) amounting to 37 students. Data collection was carried out through the implementation of both pree test and post test which numbered 25 multiple choice questions. The results of this study indicate that, in the experimental class, the average student learning outcomes of the final test were 79.43, while the control class average student learning outcomes obtained in the final test was 68.86. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the t test with a significant level of ? = 0.05 and dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 72 which is 1.66, obtained by testing the hypothesis t count of 4.76 because t count> t table (4.76> 1.66) then accept Ha and reject Ho, meaning learning history by applying the Problem Solving method gives an effect on student learning outcomes in class X SMA 1 Mendo Barat Bangka. Abstract

The following study is tittled “The Effect of Lesson Study Method on History Academic Performance on Student of Class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Palembang”. The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of lesson study method on history academic performance on student of class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. This study is carried out from October 06 to October 17, 2017. Samples of this study are students from class VIII.3 and class VIII.5. The selected classes was taken with purpose sampling technic. The data collecting method was done by carrying test. The statistic used to analyse data for hyphotesis testing was done using the T formula. Based on the end result proved by the statistical tests, it turns out T(hitung) > T(tabel) atau 7,09> 1,66. Therefore it is within reason to say that the resulting analysis is significant, which is “ there are effects of lesson study method on history academic performance on student of class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Palembang” Keywords: Lesson Study Method, Academic Performance

Abstract

The title of this research is Development of Transmigrants Economy in Belitang (1937-1943). The problem of this research were how the coming process and the development of transmigrants in Belitang in 1937-1943 in social and economy. The method used in this research is the historical method; a systematic framework to collect historical sources, by giving criticism and judgment in solving facts, to obtain the truth, and to present it in writing. In this research the writer was using sociology, economic, and geography approach. The result of data analysis showed that the development of the Dutch economy in implementation of transmigration is quite successful to solve of the lack of agricultural land and reducing poverty in Java by providing the land in Belitang, Sumatra Selatan, as residence and place of income. In the social interaction is occurred both Komering and Java people which is producing helped each other and cooperate.  Keywords : Transmigrants, Development,  Economy, Belitang.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "Shifting of Pelampitan Cluster Community Organizations in 1 Ilir Palembang Village in 1994-2000 (Contribution of Learning Materials to Cultural History Courses)". The problem that was raised was how the shifting of the juggling community social organization in the 1 Ilir village of Palembang. The purpose of the research is to explain the shift in the community organization of imprisonment in 1 Ilir Palembang Village from 1994 to 2000, and to explain the factors that caused the shifting of the civil society group organization in Kelurahan 1 Ilir Palembang 1994-2000. The method used is the historical method with Heuristic steps, Source Criticism, Interpretation, Historiography, and Approach. Based on the results of data collection in the field, there is now a shift in the clash in Palembang, especially in the area of seizure in 1 Ilir Sub-District. The shift includes people who are clever in processing or making lanterns that have been inherited downward but are slowly being abandoned due to various factors, one of which is the modernization factor, but until now in the I Ilir Sub-District still producing mats but the production is not as much as before again. .  Key words: Community Organizations (clustering), 1 Ilir Palembang village
