Abstract

This research examines the storybook Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku by Ulfah H.T Dan Reini related to the value of leadership for early childhood in the story. The example of the leader in the story is a friend of the Prophet and the second Caliph, Umar Bin Khattab. The purpose of this study was to analyze the value of leadership in early childhood in the storybook Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku Karya Ulfah H.T Dan Reini. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a textual analysis approach or library research in the form of a literature review. Source data from Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku storybook. Data collection is carried out by reading, understanding, recording, analyzing by collecting, conceptualizing, filtering and sorting out matching data. Data analysis is performed by reducing data, classifying data, and verifying data information. The results of the study found and identified that the value of leadership in the storybook Umar Bin Khattab Jagoanku by Ulfah H.T Dan Reini is shown through an attitude of protection, a brave attitude and an attitude of doing good

Abstract

When SD Laboratory UPI implemented Blended learning System at post period of covid pandemic, the students perform some learning problem symptoms.  In order to prevent this, become wide spread, it is necessary to formulate a program to help students cope the problem. This research focuses on collecting empirical data of students' psychological conditions.  It will be used as base in developing program. This study takes 30 respondents to implement the DCM and the ITP instrument. The data is processed by percentage techniques and statistical tests. The results exhibit the most problems experienced by students at social problems point and indicate the students at impulsive and protection level of development tasks with the lowest aspect at the "emotional maturity", "economic behavioral independence" and "awareness of responsibility". Thus the program is designed in the composition as following: basic services to develop emotional maturity, responsive services for students with low development and problem symptoms; individual planning services with a focus on further study career planning; as well as system support in the form of in-house training in the preparation of learning kits and guidance kits.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the motivations for involvement of members of the Parumasaan rural community in Serang District in visiting Posyandu. Such studies are useful in broadening the horizons of early childhood development in rural areas in addition to disseminating the benefits for community-based early childhood education through Posyandu. Qualitative research methods are the main instrument with observation, interviews and documentation. The interviews were mainly addressed to the visitors from women. The results of the activities show that there are many Posyandu activities and programs that have an impact on the knowledge of visitors in caring for early childhood, whether received directly from the organizers or discussions with fellow mothers. Such knowledge can change people's mindset about nutrition and child development from an early age

Abstract

The educational curriculum is very important for the implementation and process of education. Without the right curriculum, students will not get the appropriate learning targets. Along with the development of the curriculum era in the world of education, it also continues to experience changes where these changes are adapted to the needs of each student. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques on daily learning activities at school. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of 2013 curriculum-based learning at RA Tarbiyatul Islam Ngagel went well. 2) The factors supporting the implementation of learning are class decoration, there are extracurriculars.

Abstract

Ethnic diversity will exist in every country. Moreover, the country of Indonesia, which has many tribes, coupled with the inclusion of other ethnic groups, enriches diversity. Indonesia is experiencing a rift in harmony with respect to ethnicity. It is assumed that one ethnic group can dominate power in Indonesia. The broadcast of Upin Ipin's children teaches the next generation to respect other ethnic groups. The animated cartoons set an example for children to help each other and respect differences in friendship. Ethnic diversity is played by some of the cartoon characters. For example, the Indonesian ethnic group was represented by Susanti, the Indian nation was represented by Jarjit Singh, Rajoo, and Uncle Muthu, the Chinese were represented by the figures Meimei and Koh Ah Tong from the Chinese ethnic group, as well as the main character Upin Ipin and other figures representing the ethnic group. Malaysian nation. Described in the cartoon the characters help each other and respect each other even though they are of different ethnicities.

Abstract

This study aims to instill character education in early childhood through a classical learning model. This character education is very important considering that what children get from an early age can stick with them until they grow up. The method used in this research is field study or observation and literature study, by analyzing the findings from observations in the field and then linking them to theories related to this research study. The results of the study explain that the classical learning model is still very effective for children's learning, especially in habituation activities for instilling character in children. The process of implementing it at Kober Al-Fawwaz is through disciplinary habituation in children, forming religious character, forming active learning strategies for children, and building good role models for children. Besides that, the character values that are instilled in children are aspects of independence, discipline, environmental care, social care, responsibility, and creativity in children.

Abstract

In the social development of children, children's social development is very important in living in society with other people, therefore in socializing in their community children must have good social behavior without any unsocial behavior. The purpose of this study was to describe the important role of parents in preventing AUD social behavior problems. This research uses the method of library research (library research). The results of this study concluded that the role of parents is very important in stimulating the development of social behavior, children print parental behavior at home because children are reliable imitators, the importance of the role of parents in implementing parenting and habituation, religious norms and values ​​in an effort to prevent social behavior problems in children. As parents who want their children to have good social behavior, parents must be able to apply parenting/educational methods and use good habituation methods regarding norms and religion while at home.

Abstract

This study discusses the handling that can be done in overcoming speech delay in  early childhood. The purpose of this study is to find out various strategies or methods that can be used in stimulating  speech delay problems  in children from an early age through speech therapy. This study used a qualitative approach with library research  method  where the subjects of this study reviewed several relevant articles and intended for children aged 4-6 years.  The results of this study commonly used speech therapy is to train speaking with correct articulation and practice pronunciation of words slowly and repeatedly. This is very effective to do, because in this word repetition process the child will remember and lock every word that continues to be repeated. The authors recommend that future studies use a type of direct observational research into the field, so that previously found data can be accurately proven with facts in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out if there is a relationship between parenting and parents' cultural background. This study used quantitative methods with correlational analysis data processing. In this study, 30 parents who have children aged 5-6 years in Benda Village, Sukabumi District, West Java, became the research subjects. Data collection methods used survey techniques and documentation. The analysis test used was Person Product Moment correlation between variable X and variable Y. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parents' cultural background and parenting. This is based on the sign value. 0.000 > 0.05 is considered valid and the Pearson Correlation value of 0.757 indicates a strong interdependence between variables. Thus, there is a clear relationship between parents' cultural background and early childhood care.

Abstract

In an effort to form a quality generation, character education must be carried out from an early age. This article will describe the four magic words in the formation of children’s character in social life. This article was created to be a guide in everyday life and educated children to behave in social life in accordance with the values of correct behavior. This article uses research methods based on library research. Data collection techniques carried out ini research 1) reading, 2) taking notes, 3) processing research materials in achieving relevant results. Collection of primary data in this study from 17 articles and 1 book. The results of this study: First, the habit of using the word ”Sorry” is done through the guidance of parents or eduators. Second, the habit of saying the word ”thank you” is done by giving examples of activities for children to always say the word thank you. Third, the habituation of using the word ”please” is carried out through batuation activities by giving examples to children. Fourth, the habit of saying the word ”Excuse me” is done by giving understanding to children.
