Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the level of physical fitness and body mass index of the extracurricular futsal extracurricular participants at Raudhatul Qur'an Payaraman Islamic Boarding School. This research is descriptive quantitative, with a survey research method. The population is MTS level futsal extracurricular participants totaling 30 people. The total sampling technique is used for sampling so that the sample is 30 people, the research instrument uses the Physical Fitness Test and Body Mass Index measurement. The physical fitness level of one person in this study was classified as good (3.33%), 19 students (63.33%) sufficient classification, 10 students (33.33%) poor classification. Based on body mass index, 15 students (50%) were included in the thin category, 15 students (50%) were in the normal category. Based on this research, it was found that the general level of physical fitness was in the moderate category and the body mass index was in the normal category. To have the ability to play futsal properly, good physical condition and ideal body mass index are required. It is hoped that this research can be considered by futsal coaches to improve physical fitness and as a concern for maintaining student body mass index so as to prevent nutritional deficiencies or excess nutrition in students.

Abstract

This study aims to reintroduce the profile and history of the Teratai Putih Pencak Silat College located in Sukasada Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency to the wider community as well as the implementation of character education values at the Teratai Putih Pencak Silat College. This type of research is qualitative research using an ethnographic approach. The professors, trainers, and fighters of the Teratai Putih Pencak Silat College became the subjects of this research to obtain valid data. Data collection techniques were carried out by triangulation of data using 3 techniques, namely the participatory observational process, in-depth interviews, and document research. The research tool uses interview guidelines. The stages of data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and validation. The results showed that the Teratai Putih pencak silat College had existed since August 1971 and was chaired by professor Jero Nyoman Sudiadnyana along with 3 other people, namely Komang Pica, Made Duara and Gede Sujayasa, who in 1980 was officially registered at IPSI Buleleng. The application of the values of character education at the Teratai Putih Pencak Silat College has been realized since the beginning of the establishment of this college.

Abstract

Leg muscle explosive power is a real form of physical condition that contributes to the accuracy of shooting at a soccer goal. The purpose of this study is to try to relate the explosive power of the leg muscles to the accuracy of shooting soccer. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. 25 soccer players as research subjects. The research instrument used a vertical limb muscle explosive power test and a soccer shooting accuracy test. Data analysis using Pearson product-moment. The results showed that explosive power contributed significantly to the accuracy of shooting soccer. But shooting soccer also requires contributions from other factors such as basic physical conditions which are always needed in every sports skill and psychological factors.
