Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine how far the principal’s leadership, school committee’s activity, and school’s climate influence teachers’ performance of Public Junior High School in North Magelang Subdistrict Magelang City, simultaneously and partially. Furthermore, this research also analyzes the moderating role of Department of Education on the influence of these three variables on the teachers’ performance. The population of this research was 260 teachers. Sample size determined using Isaac and Michael’s method amounting to 149 teachers.  The sample was determined by Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Research data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression statistical formulas and partial correlation. To determine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable was done by using the F-test at a significance level of 5%. The statistical analysis showed that the variables of principal’s leadership, the school committee’s activity, and school’s climate have a positive influence on the teachers’ performance with effective contribution 62,5%. This figure shows that 62.5% of teachers’ performance is determined by the three variables, while the remaining 37.5% is determined by other variables outside of the model. Partially the principal’s leadership variables contribute effectively (SE) of 14.92%, the school committee’s activity is 14.42%, and the school’s climate is 33.16% in determining the teachers’ performance. Furthermore, based on the Chow-Test results, it is concluded that the role of the Education Department of Magelang moderates the influence of these three factors on the teachers’ performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui indikator dan bentuk pengukuran nilai tanggung jawab pada pembelajaran IPA SMP. Yang kedua untuk membuat model Instrumen pengukuran tanggungjawab pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian pengembangan instrumen. Uji Validasi yang dilakukan meliputi: Analisis Validitas Butir, Validitas Isi berdasarkan expert judgement, FGD dan teknik analisis Delphi, Validitas Konkuren, Validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor. Uji kelasyakan dilakukan pada 32 peserta didik. Setelah dilakukan penyususnan instrumen dan uji kelayakan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sebgai berikut. (1) Telah dapat disusun Instrumen penilaian sikap tanggung jawab peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA SMP dengan jumlah butir valensi 28 butir dan jumlah butir faktual 30 butir. (2) Berdasarkan analisis reabilitas instrumen, nilai tanggung jawab Valensi diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,907. Nilai tanggung jawab faktual diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,877. (3)  Berdasarkan analisis validitas konkuren dengan menganalisis hubungan data valensi dengan data faktual menunjukan koefisien korelasi untuk nilai  tanggungjawab adalah rxy = 0.647. (4) Uji validitas konstruk menggunakan analisis faktor  ini menunjukan bahwa dari 19 butir instrumen nilai tanggung jawab valensi, terdapat 16 butir saja yang valid dan hanya terletak pada komponen I, 1 butir, Komponen II 1 Butir, di komponen III 1 butir, dan satu butir di komponen 5. Sedangkan untuk butir faktual, analisis faktor ini menunjukan bahwa dari 30 butir instrumen nilai tanggung jawab faktual, terdapat 16 butir yang valid dan letaknya pada semua komponen. Komponen I terdapat 11 butir valid, komponen II terdapat 1 butir valid, Komponen III ada 1 butir Valid, Komponen 4 satu butir sementara komponen 5 kosong. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the indicators and forms of measurement values of responsibility in science teaching junior high. The second purpose is to create a model of measurement instruments responsibilities in science subjects. This research is to development of research instruments. Validation test performed was done: Validity Analysis of Items, Validity The content is based on expert judgment, FGD, Concurrent validity, construct validity using factor analysis. The feasibility test is consist of 32 students. After arranging the instruments and the feasibility test, it can be concluded as followed. (1) It has the attitude assessment instruments can be arranged responsibility of students in junior high school science subjects with the number of valence items 28 items and 30 items of items factual. (2) Based on the analysis of the reliability of the instrument, the value of responsibility Valensi instrument reliability coefficient of 0.907. The value of responsibility factual instrument reliability coefficient of 0.877. (3) Based on the analysis of concurrent validity by analyzing the data relationship valence with factual data showing the correlation coefficient for the value of responsibility is r xy = 0647. (4) Test of construct validity using factor analysis shows that of the 19 items-value instruments valence responsibilities, there are 16 items are valid and only lies in the components I, 1 item, Component II 1 Item, in component III 1 item, and one item in component 5. As for the factual point, factor analysis shows that of the 30 items instrument factual value of responsibility, there are 16 items that valid and located on all components. Component I there is 11 valid item, component II are 1 point is valid, the third component there is 1 point Valid, Component 4 of the items while the component 5 is empty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian implementasi Bimbingan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (BTIK) di SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta berdasarkan 11 (sebelas) uraian tugas guru TIK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi program, dengan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product) khusus pada evaluasi proses. Analisis data menggunakan analisis dekriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: (1) Perancangan BTIK bagi siswa sesuai pedoman, bagi guru cukup sesuai, bagi karyawan kurang sesuai; (2) Pelaksanaan BTIK bagi siswa sesuai pedoman; (3) Penyusunan alat ukur BTIK sesuai pedoman; (4) Pelaksanaan evaluasi sesuai pedoman. (5) Pelaksanaan analisis hasil sesuai pedoman; (6) Perancangan rencana tindak lanjut sesuai dengan pedoman; (7) Keterlibatan guru TIK sebagai pengawasan sesuai pedoman; (8) Pengembangan SIM berbasis TIK sesuai dengan pedoman; (9) Pembimbingan ekstrakurikuler sesuai pedoman; (10) Pelaksanaan pengembangan diri sesuai pedoman; dan (11) Publikasi ilmiah/karya inovatif kurang sesuai pedoman. Evaluation of implementation of information and communication technology guidance (BTIK) at curriculum 2013 in SMAAbstractThis research is used to know the conformity of the implementation of Information and Communication Technology Guidance (BTIK) in SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta based on 11 (eleven) job description of ICT teachers. This research is a program evaluation study, with CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product ) specific to process evaluation. Data analysis used qualitative decriptive analysis. Result of research: (1) The design of BTIK for students is in accordance to the guideline, for the teacher is appropriate, for the employees is less appropriate; (2) Implementation of BTIK for students is in accordance with the guidelines; (3) Preparation of BTIK measuring instruments is in accordance with the guidelines; (4) Implementation of evaluation is in accordance with the guidance. (5) Implementation of results analysis is in accordance with the guidelines; (6) The design of follow-up plans is in accordance with the guidelines; (7) The involvement of ICT teachers as guidance-based supervision; (8) Development of ICT-based SIM in accordance with the guidelines; (9) Extracurricular guidance as directed; (10) Implementation of self-development is in accordance with guidance; and (11) Scientific publications/innovative works lack guidelines.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menyusun instrumen pengukuran kemandirian, (2) untuk mengetahui nilai indikator independensi, (3) untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen independensi, dan (4) untuk mengetahui kemandirian siswa SMP Negeri 40 Purworejo. Prosedur pengembangan: (1) validasi ahli, (2) revisi I, (3) uji keterbacaan, (4) revisi II, (5) uji coba agak luas, (6) revisi III, (7)) implementasi instrumen. Analisis dilakukan: (1) validitas butir, (2) reliabilitas instrumen, dan (3) validitas konstruk. Hasil penelitian adalah Instrumen Pengukuran Kemandirian Siswa SMP yang telah memenuhi validitas isi, butir dan konstruk. Hasil penelitian: (1) instrumen akhir terdiri dari 10 indikator yang terdiri dari 29 item yang valid, (2) koefisien reliabilitas instrumen akhir sebesar 0,902, (3) analisis deskriptif hasil penerapan instrumen menunjukkan bahwa independensi pada siswa SMP Negeri 40 Purworejo termasuk kategori tinggi. Developing the measurenment instrument of independence of junior high school students Abstract The objectives of this research are: (1) to compile the instrument of measuring of independence, (2) to know the value indicators of independence, (3) to know the validity and reliability of the instrument of independence, and (4) to know the independence of the students of SMP Negeri 40 Purworejo. Procedure of development: (1) expert validation, (2) revision I, (3) test legibility, (4) revision II, (5) trial rather broad, (6) revision III, (7) ) instrument implementation. Analysis performed: (1) grain validity, (2) instrument reliability, and (3) construct validity. The result of the research is a Measurement Instrument of independence for Junior High School Students who have fulfilled the validity of content, grain and construct. The result of research: (1) final instrument consists of 10 indicators consisting of 29 valid items, (2) the final instrument reliability coefficient of 0.902, (3) descriptive analysis of the result of instrument implementation showed that the independence among students of SMP Negeri 40 Purworejo included the high category.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the effect of the teacher’s care and emotional cleverness in a group or partially to biology learning achievement of students at SMA N 2 Bantul. This research was correlation research. The subjects of the research were the students of class XII in exact sciences, SMA N 2 Bantul with the sample that consist of 127 students. To take the sample in this research used sampling random proportional technique. The sample sum was decided by using sample decision table from Issac and Michael by the result of 95 students. The technique of data collection used the questionnaire that was included the teacher’s care, learning motivation and emotional cleverness. The measurement of the biology learning achievement test that referring to passing competence standard. The instrument was tested to 32 students as the respondent. The instrument validity analysis that was questionnaire used the correlation of product moment and reliability with Cronbach Alpha. Before hypothesis test analysis, there was pretest such as normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. To test hypothesis used double regression test and bivariate analysis. The effective and relative role of each variable were also counted. The result of this research shows (1)  that  there are positive that significant effect between teacher’s care, learning motivation and emotional cleverness to biology learning achievement, if teacher’s care, learning motivation, and emotional cleverness are hight so biology learning achievement is hight (2) partially the teacher’s care shows the positive that   significant effect to biology learning achievement, if teacher’s care hight so bilology learning achievement is hight.(3) the learning motivation shows the positive that significant effect to biology learning achievement, if learning motivation hight so biology learning achievement is hight (4) the emotional cleverness shows the positive that significant effect to biology learning achievement, if emotional cleverness hight so biology learning achievement is hight.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning management including planning, implementation, and evaluation of open school teachers, to explain how learning management can improve the quality of education outcomes, and to describe the obstacles encountered in the implementation of learning management in improving the outcomes of education in Open Junior High School 4 Pandak Bantul Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research instruments used in this research were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and document checklists. The analysis of data was done by descriptive and qualitative analysis. The validity of the data was done by a triangulation technique. The research results showed that in general, the learning management can improve the quality of education of Open Junior High School 4 Pandak, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The  complete results were (1) the learning management in Open Junior High School 4 Pandak, Bantul, Yogyakarta has been implemented procedurally following the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up;  (2)  the implementation of learning management gave contribution in improving the quality of education; (3) some obstacles or barriers related to the implementation of learning management derived from the open school teachers, the principal, and the school staffs; (4) the solution to overcome the obstacles was giving motivation and conducting good coordination among the open school teachers, principal, and school staffs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas: (1) Perencanaan program pembelajaran (2) Pelaksanaan program pembelajaran, dan (3) Tingkat daya serap murid penutur asing dalam pelaksanaan program pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Wisma Bahasa-Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Centre. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi program bertempat di Wisma Bahasa-Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Centre. Evaluasi program menggunakan evaluasi Kirkpatrick yang meliputi reaksi (reaction), belajar (learning), dan hasil/dampak (result). Penelitian dilakukan dengan sampel 30 orang dari kelas pemula yang sedang melaksanakan program pembelajaran pada bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2016. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, angket, dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis dekriptif kualitatif dengan kriteria. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing di Wisma Bahasa-Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Centre adalah program pembelajaran yang dapat dikatakan efektif; (2) Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing memberikan efek yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa atau prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil yang diperoleh siswa. (3) Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing dapat memberikan hasil atau dampak yang positif terhadap siswa, hal ini dapat dilihat darimeningkatnya prosentase siswa yang mencapai skor dengan kategori baik dan sangat baik pada kompetensi dasar yang diajarkan. AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of (1) Learning program planning (2) Implementation of learning the program, and (3) The level of absorption of foreign students in the implementation of Indonesian language learning program at Wisma Bahasa-Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Center. This research is an evaluation research program held at Wisma Bahasa - Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Center. Program evaluation uses Kirkpatrick's evaluation which includes reaction, learning, and outcome. The study was conducted with a sample of 30 people from beginner classes who are implementing the learning program in February to April 2016. Data collection through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis with criteria. The results revealed that: (1) Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers at Wisma Bahasa-Yogyakarta Indonesian Language Center is a learning program that can be said to be effective; (2) Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers provides an effect that can improve student learning outcomes or student achievement. This can be seen from the results obtained by students. (3) Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers can give positive result or impact to the students, it can be seen from the increase of the percentage of students who reach the score with good category and very good at basic competence taught.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) to find out how much influence the management of the principal, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation on the work effectiveness of primary school teachers in Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 2) to find out how much influence the principal management, the work efficiency of a primary school teacher in Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 3) to find out how much influence the professionalism of teachers on the work effectiveness of primary school teachers in the Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 4) to find out how much influence the achievement motivation on the work efficiency of the primary school teachers in the Subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. This research use method a quantitative approach which conducted in the subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency, with a population of a number of 157 teachers in 14 primary schools in the subdistrict  Kledung, which is then taken a sample of a number of 114 teachers. Techniques a data collection conducted through the submission of a questionnaire which contains statements about the management of the principal, teacher professionalism, achievement motivation and the work effectiveness. The analysis technique used is a technique of descriptive statistics, of multiple regression techniques, the partial correlation coefficient analysis, and assess the goodness of fit by the F test, T-test, and the coefficient of determination. Analysis result showed the variable contribution of principals management, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation simultaneously influence positive which significant against the variable effectiveness of work teachers. From the analysis and the discussion of can pulled conclusion 1) the principal's management, teacher professionalism, and achievement motivation, simultaneously or partially the influential positive which significant against the effectiveness of the primary school teachers in the subdistrict Kledung, Temanggung Regency. 2) The Principal Management influential positive which significant against the effectiveness of the work, so management which done well will directly affect the work efficiency of the teacher. 3) The professionalism of teachers influential positive significant against the effectiveness of the work, so that teachers are which professionals in their duties will demonstrate the effectiveness of the better so as to provide better working results and quality. 4) Achievement motivation influential positive which significant on the effectiveness of the work, so that teachers who have high achievement motivation will affect the effectiveness of its work.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know the increased motivation fourth grade students in elementary N Jombor Lor in learning through cooperative learning STAD. (2) to increase student achievement at the fourth grade of elementary school N Jombor Lor through STAD cooperative learning.This research is a class act. A resource in this study are principals, teachers, and students. Methods of data collection using tests, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed: (1) Application of STAD cooperative learning can boost the motivation of learners in the learning of Mathematics in Elementary School fourth grade students Jombor Mlati Lor sub-district. This can be seen from the percentage of students’ motivation is increased. Before being given the action of using STAD cooperative learning motivation of learners only reach the percentage of 32% or as much as 8 students. After a given action motivation of learners increased to 48% or as many as 12 students in the first cycle and to 80% or 20 students in the second cycle. (2) Application of STAD cooperative learning can improve learning achievement of learners in the learning of Mathematics in Elementary School fourth grade students Jombor Mlati Lor sub-district. Improved student achievement can be seen from the increase in the average and also the percentage of students learning completeness. Before the given action in the form STAD cooperative learning students’ average only able to reach a value of 66.20 with a percentage of 44% completeness. Having given the average value of the actions of learners has increased to 72 with a percentage of 60% in the first cycle and increased to 85 with a percentage of 92% in the second cycle

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) how the assessment discipline of Physical and Health Education’s Lesson at State Junior High Shcool 2nd Gombong Kebumen Regency year 2014/2015 teachers do at this point, (2) how the shape of the instrument, (3) how the development of the instrument, (4) what are an indicator instrument, (5) the validity and reliability of the instrument, (6) the tendency of attitude measurement results of discipline, (7) the relationship between Physical and Health Education’s Lesson with value discipline, and (8) the difference between the student discipline men with female students. This type of research is the development of research. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen Gombong. The subjects were: A seventh-grade students of State Junior High Shcool 2nd Gombong Kebumen Regency which amounts to 32 students and teachers of State Junior High School 2nd Gombong Kebumen Regency Deal. The object of this study is discipline assessment instruments Physical and Health Education’s Lesson. Based on the results of the study concluded: (1) is now part of teacher disciplinary assessment Physical and Health Education’s Lesson at Junior High School 2 Gombong by observation alone without the use of assessment instruments, (2) The form of assessment instruments Physical and Health Education’s Lesson disciplinary subjects consisted of observation instruments the value of discipline, instruments self-assessment and peer assessment instruments, (3) development of assessment instruments disciplinary subjects between the stages Sport and Healt done, namely: literature study and field surveys, the development of assessment instruments of discipline, expert validation and revision of the product, product trials, data analysis, and the final product, (4) Indicators discipline assessment instruments, namely: (a) the right time on Physical and Health Education’s Lesson, (b) comply with the rules or school rules and regulations Physical and Health subjects, (c) do/collect duties in accordance with the time Physical and Health determined, and (d) follow the rules of good writing and speaking correctly, (5) the validity and reliability of the instrument all valid and reliable instruments, (6) the results of measurements of the attitude of discipline at State Junior High Shcool 2nd Gombong Kebumen Regency including good category, and (7) There is a difference between male students with discipline female students in class VII A State Junior High Shcool 2nd Gombong Kebumen Regency Deal.
