Abstract

Culinary students faced difficulties in implementing proper table manner at hotel due to their lack of knowledge of how actual implementation of table manner should be. The purpose of this study was to develop Adobe Animate-based interactive learning media about table manner. This study employed Research and Development by Thiagarajan (1974). The data were collected through interview and questionnaire (need analysis and feasibility measurement). The subjects were students and lecturers of Culinary Study Program. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. Adobe Animate-based interactive learning media about table manner was needed by students and lecturers according to their needs. The developed media consists of front display (university logo, material topic, and four buttons linked to the next page), materials, videos, and quiz. The feasibility test result of the developed media according to the material experts, media expert and students was respectively 4.45 (very feasible), 4.4 (very feasible), and 4.44 (very high acceptability). The developed media namely Adobe Animate-based interactive learning media about table manner is very feasible to be used as a learning media.

Abstract

Mastery of technology is an obstacle for teachers in implementing learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in disadvantaged areas. Offline learning makes teachers easily bored and has difficulty designing creative, effective and efficient learning. Likewise with students, if the learning methods and media are monotonous, the process of understanding the material will be difficult and less than optimal. This study aims to determine the level of validity and practicality and to produce E-Learning media based on the LMS Google Sites Materials on Socio-Cultural Diversity in Indonesia Class V at Labschool UNESA 2 Elementary School. This research is Research and Development with a quantitative research type. Study carried out at Labschool UNESA 2 Elementary School with a sample of 33 students and 2 validators (media experts and material experts). Technical data collection using interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the level of validity of the E-Learning media based on Google Sites learning management system (LMS) from material experts and media experts respectively obtained a percentage of 93.75% "very valid" and 72.75% "valid". Meanwhile, from the practicality test by teachers, 92% "very practical" and 98% students "very practical". E-Learning media based on Google Sites LMS and as an alternative learning media on Socio-Cultural Diversity in Indonesia for grade V Elementary School can be declared feasible and practical. Abstract

This study is motivated by a lack of expertise in curving practice after learning theoretically. Of course, this makes learning conditions very difficult and ineffective with insufficient theoretical material to provide guidance to students in practice. Therefore, the research was conducted to develop a website-based learning media that can be accessed anytime and anywhere with the aim of improving curving skills in culinary arts courses. In this study, the Sugiyono development model has been simplified, the steps are:  (1) preliminary studies, (2) Product design, (3) Product Validation, (4) Product revision, (5) Product trial, (6) The final product. The sample in this study were students of the 3rd semester of the Catering Study Program. The sample in this study were students of the 3rd semester of the Catering Study Program. Data analysis techniques by analyzing the results of media and material expert validation questionnaires and analyzing the effectiveness of website media on students. It is known from the research results, website-based learning media in Culinary Arts courses are good and feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the educational policies issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and the decisions taken by Senior High School 1 Rupat (SMAN 1 Rupat) as an effort to continue education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data was collected by means of literature study, interviews, documents and observations. Data analysis was carried out by adopting an interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that flexibility is the goal of the issuance of policies and decisions taken by the government and schools with the aim of maintaining student safety from Covid-19 and minimizing the impact of learning loss. The challenge in the future is to find a model of resilience that can be maximized to restore Indonesian education.

Abstract

This study is to find out the quality of BPJS health services to the community during the covid-19 pandemic in the Pondok Benda village is quite satisfied and the income of the people is decreasing due to the covid-19 pandemic, and to find out the ability to pay BPJS health contributions in the Pondok Benda village is quite high. The Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) for health is a very complex health service institution. BPJS Kesehatan cooperates with professional and capital-intensive hospitals.In this study, the author uses a survey research method with a discussion of research results using descriptive analysis. Descriptive analytical research, namely research that is intended to investigate circumstances, conditions, situations, events, activities and others, the results of which are presented in the form of a research report.the quality of service (procedures, requirements, clarity of officers, discipline of officers, responsibility of officers, ability of officers, speed of service, fairness, courtesy and friendliness of officers, environmental comfort and certainty of service costs) regarding BPJS health in Pondok Benda Pamulang Village, South Tangerang is sufficient good.Community income with indicators (high income, medium income and low/small income) on BPJS health inPondok Benda Pamulang, South Tangerang is quite good.

Abstract

Banten Province is a province adjacent to the Capital of Indonesia, Jakarta. Many workers in Jakarta live in Banten Province. The high mobility of Banten workers working in Jakarta caused the outbreak of the Covid virus which is quite high in Banten. The focus of this research area is on one of the areas in Banten province, namely Tangerang and South Tangerang, which is the border area between Jakarta and Banten. For almost two years Covid, Tangerang and south Tangerang faced an increase in poverty rates and decreased quality of school-age human resources The increase in poverty affects students' ability to understand reading due to low purchasing power of children's reading books. The impact of reading comprehension skills in 5th graders is the focus of research. Inability to understand reading in children can affect regional and state development. This research aims to identify the competence of reading comprehension skills in elementary school children in Banten province. This study uses descriptive quantitative research using random sampling in 5th graders spread across two cities in Banten province. Data collection was done using tests in 5th graders as many as 110 participants. Data processing is carried out using average or mean on 3 cognitive reading comprehension abilities which are then displayed in graphic form. The results showed that there was a decrease in reading comprehension ability in 8 reading comprehension competencies. The average result of the value of the ability to understand reading in Banten province is 62. This research report provides input to local and central governments to address the decline in students' reading comprehension skills. The decline in household income in Banten has an influence on the decline in reading comprehension ability.
