Abstract

Abstract; This study focuses on the influence of the incentives given to Elementary school teachers on their performance and the education quality. The sample is 186 teachers taken from 935 schools comprising 12394 teachers. By applying structural equation modelling analysis, the findings are: 1) the amount of teacher’s pay and the subsidies from the central and regional governments and the school committee influence the teacher performance and the education quality; 2) the honorarium has impact on the teacher performance; 3) the teacher performance influences the education quality indicated by the quality of values and quantity of study.

Abstract

Education  of  Social Studies  is  one  subject which shall be program the students of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP. As one of the subject areas of study, Education of social studies  aims to further students understanding and skills in applying learning strategies social studies in Primary Schools. This  development   objective  is  to  develop  courses   Textbook  Education  of  Social Studies at  the Department  of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP and learning tools in the   form outlined by Course Plan (GBRP) following Lectures Events Unit (SAP)  for one semester.    Development  of the textbook   is   specified  with include:  describing  the  feasibility  of   the substantive, level of difficulty, the level of legibility, and effectiveness of the IPS Education Textbook Advanced Class  at the Departmentof S1 PGSD FIP Unesa.  Shape   product   development   Textbook   Education  of  Social Studies course consists of lectures and educational material outlined plans Lectures, Lectures  and  Events Unit. This research includes development research with model 4D (four-D) which according to Thiagarajan (1974) more detailed and systematic.   The research was conducted on students S1 PGSD FIP Unesa, Force 2008. Collecting data using instruments questionnaires, observation sheets and test results of learning. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Deskripstif analysis is used to present data from user questionnaire results textbook, study and documentation of test results collected student work portfolios of learning social studies education. The result of  the  development    Textbook Education  of  Social Studies showed quite effective  role  in improving the quality of lectures on elementary social studies education courses  Advanced Class.   Similarly,   student   responses  to learning device Textbook quite positive.  While  the  response lecturers subjects developed textbook assume  could  be  one of   reference for elementary social studies education courses Advanced Class. About the constraints   faced  in understanding the  Education  of  Social Studies Elementary Textbook Advanced Class, students  generally  expressed  no  problems were significant. As a suggestion which could be put forward in the development of this learning tool, students who take courses Education  of  Social Studies Information should read this textbook as a reference.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Teachers have importance position and roles to increase the quality of teaching and learning process, so that the performance of the teachers must also be improved. Empowering the teachers’ performance is visible to increase the quality of education in the elementary schools in Surabaya city, East Java, Indonesia. This study is intended to explore on how to implement the empowerment for teachers (education qualification, training, and briefings) related to education quality. The study was conducted to the sample of 174 small clusters by using stratified cluster sampling technique. Applying structural equation modeling analysis, the research-intensive as the findings followed. This research finding showed that education qualification of teachers influenced the teachers’ performance and also the education quality at elementary schools. Besides that, it influenced education in service training to teachers’ performance and education quality. Moreover, teachers’ professional training also influenced the performance and the education quality. The research conclusion stated that empowerment of teachers has influenced the increase of performance with indicators of knowledge, attitude, and skills to increase the education quality. Abstract

Penilaian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan meningkatkan kesadaran sosial siswa melalui penggunaan pendekatan lingkungan yang berorientasi pada Ilmu Pengetahuan Teknologi Masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan pada kelas V SDN Balas Klumprik I / 434 Surabaya. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus, masing-masing siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 76,2%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82,6%, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 85,9%. Begitu juga dengan hasil analisis data kesadaran sosial siswa pada siklus I yang mencapai 79%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%, dan pada siklus ketiga meningkat menjadi 88%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pemanfaatan teknologi lingkungan pendekatan Community Community Technology untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sosial dalam pelestarian lingkungan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kesadaran sosial siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic experience, self-control and income of high school students on the behavior of high school economics in Pasir Belengkong District Paser district. The population of this study are students of class X and XI High School year 2016/2017. Data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaire, the method of proportional random sampling. The result of the analysis shows that partially the students income does not have significant effect on the economic performance while the economic experience and self-control have a significant and positive influence on the students’ economic behavior. While simultaneous economic experience, self-control and student income have a significant effect on student economic behavior. Positive influence is indicated by the provision of continuous economic experience through habituation and strong self-control of each individual determines the rational economic behavior of each student. Daily habits related to economic experience need to be improved and in subsequent research the control of information needs to be added

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisa pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi kelas X,XI, dan XII IPS SMA Negeri 14 Surabaya. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan quantitative appoarch. Populasi terdiri dari seluruh siswa IPS SMA Negeri 14 Surabaya dengan total 350 siswa dan jumlah sampel sejumlah 177 siswa. Data dihimpun melalui kuesioner untuk mendapat informasi mengenai kemandirian belajar siswa serta dokumentasi guna mendapatkan data jumlah siswa dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Data diolah memakai analisis regresi linier sederhana melalui SPSS 23. Hasil pengolahan data memperlihatkan kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi. Kemandirian belajar berkontribusi terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 57,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of e-learning readiness factors, including self-competency, perceived usefulness, self-directed learning, motivation, and financial on the economic learning performance of high school students. This study used a quantitative approach. A total of 177 students were involved in this study. The data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. Regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that four factors of e-learning readiness, namely self-competency, perceived usefulness, self-directed learning, and financial partially had a significant effect on students' economic learning performance (exam scores). Self-directed learning emerged as the strongest factor for driving students' economic learning performance (exam scores), and sequentially followed by self-competency, financial, and perceived usefulness factors. Another factor, namely motivation partially has no effect on students' economic learning performance (assign-ment and exam scores). Meanwhile, simultaneously all e-learning readiness factors have an effect on students' economic learning performance (assignment and exam scores).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in learning outcomes and to analyze the  effectiveness of the use of evaluation tools  on learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student in science class XI. The experiment research and nonequivalent control group design is used, with a population of 170 students with majors in Science. In selecting the sample, researcher uses purposive sampling technique with Science class XI 3 as the experimental class and Science class XI 4 as the control class, But the only difference in the experimental class is given as additional evaluation tools. This study uses hypothetical test of pre-test value and post-test with One Way Anova. Based on these results,  in the use of evaluation tools there was no significant difference in student learning outcomes in State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student ins science class XI and the use of evaluation tools had effectiveness as a support for improving learning outcomes with State Expenditure Revenue Budget and Regional Expenditure Budget materials toward student ins science class XI.DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v14i22021p116
