Abstract

Abstract; This study focuses on the influence of the incentives given to Elementary school teachers on their performance and the education quality. The sample is 186 teachers taken from 935 schools comprising 12394 teachers. By applying structural equation modelling analysis, the findings are: 1) the amount of teacher’s pay and the subsidies from the central and regional governments and the school committee influence the teacher performance and the education quality; 2) the honorarium has impact on the teacher performance; 3) the teacher performance influences the education quality indicated by the quality of values and quantity of study.

Abstract

Education  of  Social Studies  is  one  subject which shall be program the students of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP. As one of the subject areas of study, Education of social studies  aims to further students understanding and skills in applying learning strategies social studies in Primary Schools. This  development   objective  is  to  develop  courses   Textbook  Education  of  Social Studies at  the Department  of S1 PGSD Unesa FIP and learning tools in the   form outlined by Course Plan (GBRP) following Lectures Events Unit (SAP)  for one semester.    Development  of the textbook   is   specified  with include:  describing  the  feasibility  of   the substantive, level of difficulty, the level of legibility, and effectiveness of the IPS Education Textbook Advanced Class  at the Departmentof S1 PGSD FIP Unesa.  Shape   product   development   Textbook   Education  of  Social Studies course consists of lectures and educational material outlined plans Lectures, Lectures  and  Events Unit. This research includes development research with model 4D (four-D) which according to Thiagarajan (1974) more detailed and systematic.   The research was conducted on students S1 PGSD FIP Unesa, Force 2008. Collecting data using instruments questionnaires, observation sheets and test results of learning. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Deskripstif analysis is used to present data from user questionnaire results textbook, study and documentation of test results collected student work portfolios of learning social studies education. The result of  the  development    Textbook Education  of  Social Studies showed quite effective  role  in improving the quality of lectures on elementary social studies education courses  Advanced Class.   Similarly,   student   responses  to learning device Textbook quite positive.  While  the  response lecturers subjects developed textbook assume  could  be  one of   reference for elementary social studies education courses Advanced Class. About the constraints   faced  in understanding the  Education  of  Social Studies Elementary Textbook Advanced Class, students  generally  expressed  no  problems were significant. As a suggestion which could be put forward in the development of this learning tool, students who take courses Education  of  Social Studies Information should read this textbook as a reference.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Teachers have importance position and roles to increase the quality of teaching and learning process, so that the performance of the teachers must also be improved. Empowering the teachers’ performance is visible to increase the quality of education in the elementary schools in Surabaya city, East Java, Indonesia. This study is intended to explore on how to implement the empowerment for teachers (education qualification, training, and briefings) related to education quality. The study was conducted to the sample of 174 small clusters by using stratified cluster sampling technique. Applying structural equation modeling analysis, the research-intensive as the findings followed. This research finding showed that education qualification of teachers influenced the teachers’ performance and also the education quality at elementary schools. Besides that, it influenced education in service training to teachers’ performance and education quality. Moreover, teachers’ professional training also influenced the performance and the education quality. The research conclusion stated that empowerment of teachers has influenced the increase of performance with indicators of knowledge, attitude, and skills to increase the education quality. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of economic experience, self-control and income of high school students on the behavior of high school economics in Pasir Belengkong District Paser district. The population of this study are students of class X and XI High School year 2016/2017. Data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaire, the method of proportional random sampling. The result of the analysis shows that partially the students income does not have significant effect on the economic performance while the economic experience and self-control have a significant and positive influence on the students’ economic behavior. While simultaneous economic experience, self-control and student income have a significant effect on student economic behavior. Positive influence is indicated by the provision of continuous economic experience through habituation and strong self-control of each individual determines the rational economic behavior of each student. Daily habits related to economic experience need to be improved and in subsequent research the control of information needs to be added

Abstract

Penilaian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan meningkatkan kesadaran sosial siswa melalui penggunaan pendekatan lingkungan yang berorientasi pada Ilmu Pengetahuan Teknologi Masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan pada kelas V SDN Balas Klumprik I / 434 Surabaya. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam 3 siklus, masing-masing siklus meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 76,2%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 82,6%, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 85,9%. Begitu juga dengan hasil analisis data kesadaran sosial siswa pada siklus I yang mencapai 79%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%, dan pada siklus ketiga meningkat menjadi 88%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pemanfaatan teknologi lingkungan pendekatan Community Community Technology untuk meningkatkan kesadaran sosial dalam pelestarian lingkungan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan kesadaran sosial siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe students' perception of entrepreneurial values, (2) analyze Pancasila values that need to be developed in entrepreneurial learning and (3) describe the construction of entrepreneurial learning to produce Pancasila entrepreneurs. The method in this study was qualitative research. The sample in this study was Universitas Negeri Surabaya students who had taken Entrepreneurship courses, as many as 48 students. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation in the form of questionnaires and photos of activities. Data analysis techniques using reduction, presentation and conclusion. The conclusions of this study are (1) the perception of students has a positive category on the benefits of entrepreneurship, mental attitude and their views on Pancasila entrepreneurs, (2) the Pancasila values developed are the values in sila 1 and value 2 which are directly related to the substance of entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, other precepts also need to be a supporter and perfect attitude as an Indonesian and (3) the construction of the entrepreneurship course offered aims to complete the Entrepreneurship course module formulated by the 2016 Entrepreneurship Team, which is through tasks that are given mental attitude processes, personal formation and implementation of the Pancasila values.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a development approach that aims to (1) describe the feasibility media 3D maps have been developed, (2) describe the effectiveness of media 3D map. This research was conducted in SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya, with research subjects are students of class IV A SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya as the control class and IV B SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya as an experimental class of the school year 2015/2016. Type of research is the development of the research design form 4-D. The data was obtained as follows: media 3D map developed declared eligible. This is shown by the assessment of media experts validator that shows the percentage of votes at 92.5% which is in excellent condition and the assessment of experts validator percentage material showed 90% were classified as very good. As for testing the hypothesis analyzed by t-test showed that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. This is indicated by tcount (4713)> ttable (1.664) with a mean value of the experimental class of 78.3750 higher than the learning outcomes of students in the control class is 67.6923. Thus, the use of a 3D map media influence on student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the media 3D map effectively improve student learning outcomes fourth grade of Elementary School. Keywords: Development, Media Map 3D, Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan dari pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media peta 3D yang telah dikembangkan, (2) mendeskripsikan efektivitas media peta 3D. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya sebagai kelas kontrol dan IV B SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya sebagai kelas eksperimen tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pengembangan dengan bentuk desain penelitian 4-D. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: media peta 3D yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penilaian dari validator ahli media yang menujukkan persentase hasil penilaian sebesar 92.5% yang tergolong sangat baik dan penilaian dari validator ahli materi yang menunjukkan persentase sebesar 90%yang tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan untuk pengujian hipotesis yang dianalisa dengan uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (4.713) > ttabel (1.664) dengan nilai mean pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78.3750 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol yaitu 67.6923. Jadi, penggunaan media peta 3D berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media peta 3D efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Media Peta 3D, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is purposed to gain information of the effect of contextual teaching and learning to the activities and the result of social study subject of the fourth grader students. This research was conducted at SDN Kesek 2 Labang elementary school of Bangkalan with the students of IV-A and IV-B 2015/2016 as the subject. The type of the research was experimental research by using pre-post test control group design. The instruments used are the items of the learning result. Each of the variable items was tested by validity checker using the corektion between product moment and reliability test using Alpha cronbach?s in valid and reliable result, kolmogorov smirnov was used to the normality test, while independent sample ?t? test was used for the homogenity test. The result was normal and homogen. The data which had been collected was analyzed with T test using SPSS Version 21.The hypotetical test result explains that f value obtained is 1,689 and significance valve is 0,05. Based on these results the hyipothesis is accepted it can be concluded that contextual teaching and learning can significantly improve the learning output ot the fourth grader students of SDN Kesek 2 Bangkalan.Keywords: Contextual teaching and learning, Activities, Students learning results, Social studies. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Kesek 2 Labang Bangkalan dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-A dan IV-B tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal-soal hasil belajar. Butir soal variabel hasil belajar telah diujicobakan melalui uji validitas menggunakan korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan  Alpha Cronbach?s dengan hasil yang valid dan reliabel. Uji normalitas data menggunakan Kolmogorov Smirnov, sedangkan uji homogenitas menggunakan rumus Independent Sample t test dengan hasil kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Data-data yang telah berhasil dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisa dengan Uji t dengan memanfaatkan komputer dengan sistem seri program statistic (SPSS version 21). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menjelaskan nilai f hitung yang didapat yaitu sebesar 1,689 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,05, hasil pengujian hipotesis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai f hitung yang didapat lebih besar dari nilai t dalam tabel (0,879 > 5,61111) sedangkan nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari nilai ? (0,000 < 0,05).  Berdasar hasil tersebut, maka hipotesisditerima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Kesek 2 Labang Bangkalan.Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching and Learning, Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar Siswa, IPS
