Abstract

Problem dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pentingnya orang percaya memahami norma dasar spiritulitas Kristen bagi dirinya. Tujuan artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa orang Kristen membutuhkan karakter Yesus Kristus dalam Filipi 2:1-11 sebagai norma dasar bagi pembangunan spiritualitasnya. Tinjauan pembahasan artikel ini menggunakan tekstual-bibliografis. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa konsep kenosis Yesus Kristus dalam Filipi 2:1-11 merupakan prinsip utama bagi spiritualitas Kristen. Tuhan Yesus Kristus telah menghadirkan diri-Nya setara dengan umat-Nya untuk taat pada mandat Bapa demi menyelamatkan manusia dari hukuman dosa. Kerendahan hati dan ketaatan-Nya pada Bapa patut menjadi tolok ukur bagi warga gereja dalam mengekspresikan hidupnya di tengah dunia ini. Orang percaya dituntut untuk menjadi serupa dengan Kristus sebagai norma dasar dalam membangun spiritualitas Kristen bagi dirinya.

Abstract

Manusia tidak dapat terlepas dari komunikasi. Dalam tatanan sejarah Alkitab, Allah yang pertama kali berkomunikasi, baik kepada manusia maupun kepada alam. Namun setelah manusia jatuh ke dalam dosa, komunikasi Allah dengan manusia dan alam menjadi rusak. Allah berinisiatif memperbaiki dan puncak dari komunikasi Allah ialah Yesus Kristus. Yesus menjadi salah satu teladan komunikator yang baik. Gereja seyogiyanya meneladani cara Yesus berkomunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk meninjau kembali model komunikasi persuasif yang Yesus gunakan apakah telah memenuhi kaidah teknik-teknik dalam komunikasi persuasif. Kemudian tulisan ini juga bertujuan untuk memaparkan model komunikasi persuasif sebagai model komunikasi dalam pelayanan pastoral. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif non interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa komunikasi Yesus memenuhi kaidah komunikasi persuasif berdasarkan teknik asosiasi, integrasi, ganjaran, tataan maupun red-herring. Komunikasi persuasif dalam Yesus juga menjadi contoh bagi komunikasi dalam pelayanan pastoral gereja seperti pelayanan mimbar, pelayanan penginjilan, pelayanan konseling maupun pelayanan melalui media sosial.

Abstract

Communication is an important thing in a husband and wife relationship. Good communication will also increase the spiritual level of each family member. Therefore the author will examine how effective communication can build a husband and wife relationship that grows spiritually. The research method to answer the formulation of this problem uses a method with a qualitative approach. The results of the discussion show that married couples must understand the communication barriers and understand how to communicate effectively, to increase the spirituality of each partner.

Abstract

Worship in the tradition of the Israelite religion is an integral part of their lives. However, it should be realized that the worship conducted by the Israelites during that time was not yet perfect. Perfect worship goes beyond mere religious practices; it involves the application of virtuous values, especially justice and truth, which were being experienced by the impoverished society of that era. The statements of Amos give rise to two meanings regarding the establishment of justice for the poor or the justice upheld by the nation of Israel as a whole. Therefore, this research aims to delve deeper into the worship of the Israelite nation, highlight the deficiencies in its implementation, and find ways to align the values of justice and truth in that worship. This research adopts a literature study approach by examining the texts and historical contexts within the books of Amos in the Bible. The study reveals that the worship of the Israelite nation during that time tended to disregard the values of justice and truth being endured by the impoverished society. Ritualistic worship practices fail to reflect the application of virtuous values that should be an integral part of worship. Hence, efforts are needed to align the values of justice and truth in the practice of Israelite worship.

Abstract

The present day church tends to show a different existence and quality from what was shown by the example of the early church. The feeling of giving and sharing is no longer a priority, unity seems to disappear and ego begins to become a priority. So, the present day church needs to improve itself and have an awareness of the call as followers of Christ to live in unity of faith. Qualitative research based on descriptive analysis methods is carried out in this study. The research area is GKE Madara congregation. This research aims to show an example of early church life based on the reflection of Acts 2:42-47, where this example is applied in the GKE Madara congregation through work programs and daily life. The results of the study show that from an economic, social, human resource and spiritual perspective GKE Madara's unity can be affected by a model of the early church.

Abstract

Missio Dei is the revelation of God himself as the one who loves the world. In this mission of God, God is both the Sender and the Sent One. Mission is not centered on the Church, but on God. With the sub-hermeneutic qualitative method: Exegesis, this article finds a missio Dei study of the responsibilities of believers based on 2 Corinthians 5:18-20. First, believers must do His work. Second, believers must spread His work. Third, believers must invite the reconciliation of others with Him in order to realize the goal of missio Dei, which is to establish Shalom (peace, no division, no loss and completeness) through the reconciliation that has occurred for believers, so that the faith community or Church as an agency of missio Dei must continue to carry out these three responsibilities to all people to receive reconciliation with God.

Abstract

To Examining LGBTQ issues in Indonesia still requires serious time and attention. The church must be at the forefront of providing solutions for the congregation and the country. Before the situation got even worse. This article offers an equal and respectful approach to facing the problems of LGBTQ people. This is the first step that the church must think about so as to encourage the creation of new formulations that are more contextual but biblical. By using several narrations in the book of John, this research produces ways to deal with the problem of sexual deviation, especially from LGBTQ people. The church is encouraged to follow the pattern of the incarnation of Jesus by seeking, having dialogue and being open to all sinners. No longer closing himself and only highlighting his sinfulness. Especially for teenagers who are vulnerable to conditions in modern times and in the future.
