Theoretically, the media and politics can not be separated. Media and politics are like two sides of the same coin in which each one requires another. This is what happened in Aceh. Media and political links are highly visible in the practice of the press in Aceh. The presence of the media in Aceh seems very much to serve the political ambition through the news. The practice of the press industry looks like it is thick with the nuances of interest, which is interestingly studied with the approach of political economy. Political economy theorists see that there are certain groups that control economic institutions that then affect other social institutions, including the media and the press. In other words, the mastery of economic institutions will lead to the mastery of almost all aspects of life, ranging from small things such as how to eat to big things like communication devices. The mastery is meant to perpetuate their economic power. In the context of Aceh specially post-enactment of the Law on Aceh Goverment. The presence of local media is not only a part of the vortex of information, but also present as part of local political democratization. This is the challenge of the media or the local press itself. Does the media capable of maintaining its independence in managing information? or actually engaging in political practices in favor of certain political groups? This study aims to explain the role of Social Media "Facebook" and its impacts ahead of the elections of regional heads in 2017 in Aceh Jaya district. Data required in this study was obtained through literature and field research. The research literature is done by reading textbooks, legislation, and other reading materials related to this research. While the field research conducted by interviewing informants. The results showed that social media "Facebook" very effective way of delivering a variety of things including the introduction of a track record as well as the vision and mission of the future leaders of Aceh Jaya fore. Campaigns that use social networking "Facebook" more influential than campaigns that are only focused on the delivery of any information or content (in the sense of simply using billboard and his card only). In the use of social media "Facebook" there are various impacts. There are two impacts: the effect of positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of the using social media "Facebook" in the election of Aceh Jaya, namely (1) the establishment of kinship fellow Team (timses) of each candidate, (2) can foster public participation in politics (3) provides information on the dynamics of the election in Aceh Jaya (4) to introduce the candidates (5) to introduce the vision and mission of the candidates. As for the negative impact of (1) to attack each other between supporters and supporters Irfan TB Well yahGam (2) Dropping Party Opposition. This paper aim to examine on a comparison between press freedom in Indonesia and Malaysia in proclaiming their relationship. This study is expected to explain more about the difference that the author seems to differences over the rationality and public opinion. In this study, it was found that freedom of the press in the context of â€œneighboring countriesâ€ on the one side can be a fire in the hull that is tangible to the bilateral conflict so that each lost principle of balancing of the press. But on the other side, freedom of the press, however â€“ more realiable in rationality and acceptance of public opinion, the similarities and differences are quite acceptable.Keywords: Freedom of the Press. This article aims to show clearly how the actual relationship Aceh and South Sulawesi in the past and the present, so that the resulting discourse that Aceh and South Sulawesi have a thread that is not interrupted by distance and differences that have.This study uses library research method. the results of this study indicate that red thread of Aceh and South Sulawesi relantionship starts with the spice trade relations, then the marital relationship between Sultan Iskandar Muda and Putroe Suni who are descendants of Bugis, so that it ties to the history of the entry of the Islam religion to South Sulawesi. At present, the red thread is never interrupted Good relations are still maintained. The remnants of historical relics such as tombs of Kings of Aceh who are descendants of Bugis are still preserved right in front of the building of Aceh Museum. Beside the marriage between the two ethnics (Aceh and Bugis Makassar) which have occurred in the past, is still going on today. Marriage of two ethnic groups is growing. Thus, a red thread ties between Aceh and South Sulawesi is getting stronger.Â Keywords: Red Thread, Aceh, South Sulawesi.

Communication network analysis is one of method that can be used to identify the interaction of individuals in the group. This method not only focused on the individual and the social unit itself, but also the quality of the relationship between social units. This study aims to identify part of communication network concept such as interpersonal communication network. This article contains of a number of concepts related to interpersonal communication networks. Furthemore, this article try to give some descriptions about some researchs that concern about interpersonal comunication network. West Aceh Regency is an education center in the South West region of Aceh because it has seven universities, which consists of three state universities and four private universities. With the seven universities is expected to improve the quality of public education in West Aceh, one of them with the help of mass media such as local radio, Indonesian Republic Radio Meulaboh. This study focused on only two state universities, namely the University of Teuku Umar and the State Islamic Institute Meulaboh. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research method. The primary data source is the result of interview excerpts with informants, while the secondary data in the supporting documents. The data collection technique consists of the interviews, observation and documentation. IRR Meulaboh role in disseminating education can be seen from its programs 'Universitaria'. The program provides a space for University to be able to say hello to direct the public to provide the latest information through informants experts without the cost of socialization and education programs can reduce the information gap for people so that clarity and transparency in accessing information university met, especially for those who have the economic burden to continue education outside of the region to make the university in West Aceh as the main option. This study discusses the Strategy of FPI Dakwah Movement in Aceh. The problems studied in this research are formulated in a problem formulation: How is the understanding of the mission movement of FPI in Aceh ? How is the strategy of the mission movement of the FPI in Aceh ?, What are the opportunities and challenges of the mission movement of the FPI in Aceh? This research is field research with data collection technique through interview technique and documentation study. The research method used is descriptive research method qualitative analysis, which is trying to describe the systematic facts or characteristics of a particular population or specific field in actual and accurate. The results showed, among others: Understanding propaganda movement according to FPI in Aceh, namely amar makruf nahi munkar. FPI is an Islamic organization that Ahlussunnah Waljama'ah (Aswaja) faith who using Imam Syafi'i mazhab and aqidah Asy'ariyah Maturidiyah, and based on bilhikmah, mau'idatul hasanah and mujadalah. Strategy of mission of FPI in Aceh, in addition to seeking new followers, Rely on recruitment of members who come from pengajian participants, jama'ah mosque, or students in boarding schools run by FPI leaders. The mission of FPI by way of hisbah, the demonstration and sweeping of the eradication of immoral place, the dakwah of billisan, bilqalam and bilhal The opportunity of FPI preaching in Aceh has been well known by the community, especially the dayah ulama who give full support to FPI, even some heads of regions Preaching of FPI in Aceh. While the main challenge of FPI preaching in Aceh is the role of mainstream media that tends to exploit the negative side of the reporting of FPI Aceh's activities, the weakness of government and police efforts to enforce the law against the violation of Islamic Sharia in Aceh, as well as the violent FPI dakwah. This study aims to find out how the representation of Warong Kupi as a Public Sphere among the people of West Aceh District. Using a qualitative approach based on constructivist paradigm, this research would like to find out how the subjective meaning of representation warong kupi in aceh and its relation with social movement of society. The object of research studied in this research is coffee shop as public sphere facility itself and involving parties that have been determined by base method in writing this research. The results obtained from this research is Warong kupi ultimately became the arena of discourse various themes of conversation. The topics of Kupi warong talks became very diverse ranging from politics, social, economic, and so forth. However, the political theme dominates the discourse of warong kupi in Aceh Barat. This is due to the interest of the people of West Aceh on the political theme, although in contrast not all West Aceh people boast of their political literacy level. Communication is done not only by words but also by non verbal activity that has been dealt. The farmers of Kreueng Tinggai, Samatiga, Aceh Barat have been done non verbal communication after ritual “kanuri blang”. This study used qualitative method, where the source of data were taken from observation, deep interview, and focus group dissussion (FGD). Non verbal communication used is flag. When the white flag waves is means that it is sowing time, and when the green flag waves, it is planting time.
