Abstract

Hydroponics is the cultivation of plants without using soil. Hydroponic flowers, herbs and vegetables are grown in a moist growing medium and supplied with a solution rich in nutrients, oxygen and water. In the application of hydroponics, nutrition is a need that must always be met for plant development where each plant requires different nutrients. Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) is a technique that is often used in hydroponic cultivation. Because in this method the circulation of nutrients contained in the water will always flow through the plant at any time. So that plant growth is faster, because plants get oxygen and nutrients all the time. The NFT technique is said to be an energy-intensive technique, because the water pump will run continuously and still use human power. From these problems, a technological innovation is needed to help overcome the existing problems. Advances and developments in IoT technology can facilitate various kinds of work, including controlling hydroponic systems, so that plant care can be carried out remotely and at any time. Information system is a technology that can be used as remote plant monitoring. Information will be obtained through monitoring devices that will be sent to the information system. The method used in this research activity is linear regression method. This method can determine the nutritional valve opening the next day, so that nutrition can be monitored using the system.

Abstract

Since the spread of Covid-19, online learning is considered the main solution for universities so that the lecture process continues to run well, but in online learning there are many obstaclesfaced by students and lecturers, as for the obstacle, namely the location of the house is not covered by the internet network, student behavior is difficult to understand. monitored and absorption of material is very lacking and the obstacles faced by campus are the difficulty of knowing how big the level of student satisfaction in online learning is, on this problem, the author wants to evaluate the online learning system by first classifying the level of student satisfaction with online learning using the C4.5 algorithm. , based on the results of data processing that is deemed less convincing, data processing is also carried out using another classification method, namely the Naive Bayes method. Based on the results of the comparison of the two algorithms, the accuracy of the algorithmNaïve Bayes is better than C4.5 by a difference of 11.77%. That the accuracy rate of the algorithmC4.5 is 58.82% with the validity test using cross validation obtained the average value for the value of Class Precision Dissatisfied 0%, Class Precision Satisfied 66.67%, Class Precision Unsatisfied 0%, Precision Class Very Dissatisfied 0%. And the value of Class Recall Dissatisfied 0%, Class Recall Satisfied 90.91%, Class Recall Unsatisfied 0%, Class Recall Very Dissatisfied 0%. While the level of accuracy using the AlgorithmNaïve Bayes with the results of 70.59% with the validity test using cross validation obtained the average value for the value of Class Precision Dissatisfied 0%, Class Precision Satisfied 76.92%, Class Precision Unsatisfied 33.33%, Class Precision Very Dissatisfied 100% and Class values Recall Dissatisfied 0%, Class Recall Satisfied 90.91%, Class Recall Less Satisfied 25%, Class Recall Very Dissatisfied 100%.

Abstract

The Corona virus today has spread throughout Indonesia. In an effort to prevent it, almost every place does a body temperature check, sprays hand sanitizer or washes hands but is still manual in which it requires officers to measure body temperature and spraying hand sanitizer or hand washing activities in public places that are used together which can be a source of viral dissemination. To minimize direct contact with objects used in general and to displace the role of officers in checking body temperature and spraying hand sanitizer, it is necessary to make a tool or robot that can measure body temperature and spray hand sanitizer that works automatically. This robot uses ultrasonic sensors as an object detectors, the temperature sensors for body temperature detector and the Arduino Uno as controller. Output uses a Relay module that is connected to the servo motor that sprays hand sanitizer through a small hose. These tool are considered effective in detecting objects in the sensor area. With this tool, it can replace the role of officers in measuring body temperature and spraying hand sanitizers so as to minimize direct contact with objects that are used in general so as to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.

Abstract

One of the potential marine resources that can develop the economy is fisheries. Fishery potential in Indonesia is estimated at 7.3 million tons per year. However, the community has only utilized the empowerment of fish potential so far, only 80%. Therefore we need a processing business that can extend the shelf life while increasing the added value of fishery products. One of the processing processes that can preserve longevity is the canning process. Canning can be interpreted as processing using a sterilization temperature that aims to save the food material from the spoilage process. In a previous study, mini exhausting equipment was developed to produce fish in cans with a capacity of 200 115mL cans. A temperature monitoring system is needed during the exhausting process to ensure quality. Therefore, in this study, a desktop application-based monitoring system was created to display and store temperature data during the exhausting process.

Abstract

Archive management is very important for an institution. Archive management at Panca Marga University has not been done computerized. Manual management raises several problems, including slow search, need for extensive mail storage and rather slow distribution. These problems can be solved by building an information system for filing and distributing mail. System development use the waterfall method. In this study, a system can be built to be able to manage incoming letters, outgoing letters, decision letters, letter dispositions along with the distribution of the letters. Based on the results of black box testing, the system that was built was running according to its functionality.

Abstract

The recording, borrowing and returning of medical record documents at the Haji Hospital in Surabaya still uses a manual borrowing expedition book in the filing section. The medical record documents returned are not in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and SPM (Minimum Service Standard) of the hospital. The purpose of this study was to design and create a web-based information system for borrowing and returning medical records at the Haji Hospital in Surabaya. The method used in this research is waterfall. The stages of the waterfall method are requirements analysis, system design, system creation and system testing. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is a web-based information system for borrowing and returning medical records. Suggestions for the Haji Hospital of Surabaya are expected to be able to use a web-based information system for borrowing and returning medical records to facilitate the electronic recording process, speed up reporting and reduce the incidence of delays.

Abstract

The increasing maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia in the last two decades has become a serious concern for the government. Moreover, Jember Regency is one of the areas with the highest MMR in East Java. Where in 2018 the AKI of Jember Regency was ranked 10th with an AKI of 114/100,000 KH and was the 5th highest rank in 2019 with 133.4/100,000 KH. The process of recording pregnancy data that is still done manually can also affect the AKI process because it can slow down the decision-making process for pregnant women who are at risk. In this study, the focus is on creating a recording system for pregnant women according to cohort data and equipped with features to support pregnancy risk classification according to the KSPR standard. So that it is expected to provide an early decision on the risk of pregnancy to related parties. The results of the system trial show that the k-NN system developed is able to help the computational process faster by complementing the classification results with an accuracy rate of up to 80%.
