Abstract

Statistics is a science that deals with data. Starting from the data collection stage to drawing conclusions on the data studied in statistics. The concepts in statistics are widely applied in various fields and organizations to help analyze data and inform the public. Statistics as one of the sciences that has the ability to accurately estimate or estimate the condition of a data is a science that is difficult to separate in general technological developments. Development in the field of information technology cannot be separated from the role of statistics. On this occasion, he explained about the application of statistics in the development of information systems technology. Described in detail how closely the science of statistics and the application of various statistical concepts in the development of information systems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in activity and student learning outcomes as well as what efforts need to be made to increase student activity and learning outcomes on the subject of Statistics through learning the inquiry method. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class IX-D MTsN 3 Aceh Barat. This study consisted of 2 cycles. After being given action through the inquiry method and using LAS in cycle I, it was found that the active student average was 20%. From the second cycle, it was found that the active student average was 76.66%. Based on the criteria for learning activities, this learning has achieved the target of increasing learning activities. Before giving action, students are given a preliminary test, and at the end of each cycle, a learning outcome test is given. The number of students who achieved mastery learning from the initial test was 13.33% with a class average of 44.0. The results of data analysis in the first cycle after learning through the inquiry method, many students who achieved learning completeness were 66.67% with a class average of 68.67. These results have increased at the end of cycle II with the same learning strategy, many students who achieved learning completeness were 90%, and the class average was 72.67. Based on the criteria of classical learning completeness, this learning has achieved the target of classical learning completeness.

Abstract

Fenomena fisik rangkaian listrik menghasilkan model matematika dan solusi untuk penyelesaiannya. Rangkaian listrik orde dua adalah penggunaan persamaan differensial orde dua sebagai model persamaan matematika pada rangkaian listrik. Rangkaian tersebut diantaranya rangkaian LC seri dan RLC seri. Penelitian ini memaparkan analisis dan penyelesaian dari model matematika pada rangkaian listrik LC seri dan RLC seri menggunakan persamaan diferensial orde dua dengan solusi homogen maupun tak homogen.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) by using the Problem Based Learning model on the Sine and Cosine Rule learning material for class X high school students. The quality of the Student Worksheet refers to the validity of the Learning Implementation Plan and the Student Worksheet. Research and Development (RD) research type is used in this study. In this case, the development of the research refers to ADDIE development model, there are only 3 stages that are limited to the development stage only applied in the research development of Student Worksheet based on HOTS. The subjects in this study were high school student Worksheet Assessment sheet to measure validity. Based on validation that has been conducted, it was obtained that student worksheet based on HOTS developed with a Problem Based Learning model have valid criteria; Student worksheet based HOTS on the Sine and Cosine Rules learning material which was developed using Problem Based Learning model declared to have valid criteria with an average score 4,1 with a very predicate.

Abstract

Frequent complaints about the gap between the number, quality and ability of graduates with the criteria needed by the world of work appear in the field and the still low Index of Technology Development, Information and Communication in Indonesia are two national problems that must be addressed carefully. In this regard, the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) policy is a solution that has been established by the government to improve the quality of Indonesia's human resources. In order to support the efforts to manifest Indonesian people who are superior and have global competitiveness, the researchers want to analyze the implementation of KKNI-based learning in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 in the Mathematics Education Study Program of HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar University (UHKBP-NP). It is hoped that this research can become a reference material for the government in reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of the KKNI program so that different policies can be formulated according to the reality on the ground. This research problem will be revealed with a qualitative method approach because the things to be revealed are phenomenological. To collect all the required research data and information, the researcher will use three techniques, namely interviews; observation; and documentation. The data that has been collected will then be analyzed using focused observation techniques and interactive analysis techniques.

Abstract

Dalam hal pendistribusian barang, setiap kantor pos pasti memiliki wilayah distribusi tujuan. Begitu juga dengan Kantor Pos di Jl. Sutomo no. 2 Pematangsiantar, dimana mereka bertugas mendistribusikan barang di wilayah Kota Pematangsiantar yang merupakan puncak simalungun. Agar barang tersebut dapat didistribusikan dengan cepat maka diperlukan rute yang efisien dari segi jarak. Pendistribusian barang dimulai dan diakhiri di Kantor Pos kota Pematangsiantar. Masalah tersebut dapat dikategorikan sebagai Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) yaitu suatu masalah dimana seorang salesman harus mengunjungi semua daerah yang setiap daerahnya hanya dikunjungi satu kali, dan harus kembali kekampung halaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui waktu tersingkat dalam menyampaikan pesanan, membantu perusahaan dalam menekan biaya operasional, mendapatkan jalur terpendek menggunakan dua cara yaitu dengan cara perhitungan manual dan bahasa pemrograman sehingga menjadi bahan acuan bagi mahasiswa Universitas HKBP-N Pematangsiantar, Kantor Pos, serta perbandingan efisiensi menggunakan pascal.

Abstract

The three-dimensional linear log model is an equation in the form of a model in statistics that is used to describe whether there is a relationship between two or more variables and the pattern of their relationship at the same time to find out which cells cause dependencies. The number of variables discussed in this study was three variables. After the variables are investigated, the formation of a log-linear model becomes important because not all the model factor interactions that exist in the complete model are significant in the resulting model. This study aims to perform linear log modelling to obtain a suitable final model, using the Forward method for case examples of qualitative data. From the examples of cases that have been worked on, it is known that the Forward method is the best model building method because this method is used more as a process of adding one by one the interaction between factors in the model to evaluate the fit of a model. This will provide an alternative choice in determining the best model after going through the fittest for each model that is formed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in Productive Catering learning and to encourage and train Productive Catering teachers at SMK Negeri 10 Medan. Through the demonstration method, it is hoped that it can solve the problems faced by teachers in the classroom related to student learning outcomes by using a systematic way of thinking. To achieve this goal, the researchers collaborated with Productive Catering teachers by conducting classroom action research. This research was conducted in class X-2, Catering Department at SMK Negeri 10 Medan. The classroom action research steps begin with initial dialogue, planning learning actions, implementing actions, observing, reflecting and evaluating. The research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes which means in learning Productive Catering. At the beginning of the research, the students who completed the study were 25% after the research in the first cycle, the students' learning completeness was 31.25% and 50%. In Cycle II, the students' learning completeness was 56.25% and 62.5%, and in the third cycle, the percentage of student learning completeness had met the criteria of 81.25% and 84.375%.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di kelas X-1 Jurusan Tata Busana SMKN 10 Medan tahun pelajaran 2018-2019 didasarkan atas pengamatan rendahnya hasil belajar produktif tata busana (dasar pola) siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dalam setiap siklusnya. Tindakan yang dilakukan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa, instrumen penilaian rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan instrumen pengamatan aktivitas guru, serta nilai hasil evaluasi setiap selesai pertemuan. Nilai data yang diperoleh menjadi bahan refleksi untuk dilakukan di siklus berikutnya. Ketika dilakukan refleksi awal hasil belajar siswa sekitar 57,75 (sangat kurang). Pada siklus Irata-rata hasil belajar siswa 74,3 (cukup), pada siklus II  80,0 (cukup), dan pada siklus III menjadi 83,1 (tinggi) sehingga disimpulkan bahwa penerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar produktif tata busana (dasar pola) di kelas X-1 jurusan Tata Busana SMKN 10 Medan

Abstract

The population growth rate of an area is influenced by several factors including fertility, mortality and migration. Meanwhile, population counts are usually carried out through a population census which is carried out every 10 years. As a metropolitan area, every year North Sumatra experiences a very rapid population growth rate. The population growth rate can be modelled with a stochastic model. In stochastic modelling refers to the percentage calculations for fertility, mortality and migration in predicting for the next census year period. Meanwhile, to calculate the population, you can use numerical methods, namely, forward newton Gregory polynomial and reverse newton Gregory polynomial. The method used in this study is a literature study where the data source used is secondary data and in this case, the researcher analyzes between three census periods, namely the period 1980 to 2010 and then predicts the period of the next census year. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the three models in predicting the population of North Sumatra in the census period. For stochastic modelling, the prediction results obtained for the year 2010 are the percentage of total birth rate or fertility reaching ± 17.67%, the mortality reaches ± 39.61% and the migration reaches ± 42.72%. For 2020, the probability that the percentage of total birth or fertility is ± 16.83%, the mortality is ± 33.85% and the migration is ± 49.36% and for 2030 the probability of the percentage of total birth or fertility is ± 16.98%. the mortality reached ± 34.28% and the migration reached ± 48.74%. And for the forward newton Gregory polynomial method and the reverse Gregory newton polynomial, the total relative error is obtained respectively while for the reverse newton Gregory polynomial method the total error value is. Referring to the error value, the advanced Newton Gregory polynomial method has better accuracy.
