Abstract

Abstract Increasing the resilience of one's family with an increase in economic resources for families. Kadubereum village has a lot of natural potential that can be processed by people to become processed products. UMKM problem in Kadubereum village has not been the amount of natural potential to be a product that has a selling value, and for those who already utilize the natural potential in the village is still constrained by the marketing of its products. To assist UMKM in providing solutions then the implementation methods used after the survey, then provide counseling on marketing strategies and product development training. Abstract

The implementation of “Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM)” in Pasanggrahan Village is based on the constraints faced by the local village community in realizing the entrepreneurial spirit. Some of these obstacles include the lack of knowledge about entrepreneurship and creativity in creating product innovation. The purpose of carrying out PKM activities is to provide alternative solutions by conducting entrepreneurship education and training for local village communities. This activity is carried out through three stages, namely: (1) the preparatory stage: conducting observations and interviews, completing documents, and designing activities; (2) core stage: the implementation of entrepreneurship education seminars and training in making entrepreneurial products. PKM implementers provide training in making mustopa bananas by using bananas as the main ingredient which is the potential of Pabuaran Village; (3) final stage: the focus of activities on the evaluation of activities and preparation of the final report. All three stages have been implemented at 100%. The results obtained in the implementation of PKM are the increasing level of understanding of seminar participants and training on entrepreneurship in producing creative and innovative products through exploiting the potential of the village.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini berasal dari keinginan untuk memberikan keterampilan yang dapat meningkatkan ekonomi di Desa Sukaratu Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten dengan memanfaatkan produk alami yang ada sehingga mereka lebih bernilai secara ekonomi. Manfaat sumber daya alam rambutan bukan hanya buahnya tetapi kulit yang hanya menjadi limbah. Berdasarkan fenomena ini, limbah kulit rambutan diekstraksi menjadi minuman yang layak dikonsumsi. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pemecahan masalah dengan pembelajaran singkat dengan melakukan metode yang dilakukan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Sedangkan hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah 1) adanya pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengolah limbah kulit rambutan menjadi minuman teh rambutan, 2) Produk ini dihasilkan dalam bentuk teh rambutan dari ekstraksi kulit rambutan. 3) Meningkatnya kesadaran lingkungan dan penciptaan lapangan kerja. Abstract

In Sukamenak village, the craftsmen manage their machetes and knives businesses independently, where they operate at home. The main problem to date has not been the formation of working groups or production houses that are professionally managed by certain institutions or offices to facilitate the efforts of these machete and knife craftsmen. In 1 day the craftsmen are able to make up to 15 machetes or ordinary knives, which will later be sold to the baros market and the attacking rau market, or sold to collectors with prices starting from Rp.30,000 depending on the size and shape of the machete. To increase the level of the community's economy by providing education and training. Entrepreneurship education activities carried out not only provide entrepreneurial skills, but also grow social capital to realize the formation of new entrepreneurs. Activities undertaken will be focused on forming one community group that will be empowered. The community will be given education and training through the management and marketing of machetes. The implementation method that will be carried out consists of five stages, namely: 1) counseling about the promotion and marketing of machetes as a business opportunity. 2) marketing training through digital marketing. 3) economic feasibility training through a good understanding of entrepreneurial management. 4) training marketing products online and offline markets. And 5) plans for the continuation of education and training activities.

Abstract

Dari beberapa hasil riset disebutkan bahwa kemampuan membaca atau literasi orang Indonesia masih rendah. Salah satunya menurut hasil penelitian Programme for International Student Assesment (PISA) dinyatakan bahwa Indonesia menduduki peringkat kedua terburuk dari 65 negara yang diteliti di dunia. Begitupun, di desa Curug Agung berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwa kemampuan membaca pada masyarakat juga masih rendah, maka kepala desa menghimbau kepada tim pengabdi untuk memberikan pengarahan, pelatihan, dan stimulus untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca masyarakat. Selain itu, agar kegiatan membaca dapat menjadi suatu kebiasaan atau budaya khususnya bagi generasi muda penerus bangsa. Untuk itu, pada kegiatan ini diberikan sebuah pelatihan dan pemaparan informasi konsep strategi dan pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca yaitu pendekatan extensive reading. Sebuah pendekatan yang dimulai dengan sesuatu yang menyenangkan. Maka, akan diharapkan akan menjadi suatu rangsangan agar anak-anak mau membaca. Kegiatan literasi dapat dikatakan 100% berjalan baik dan lancar. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari antusiasme peserta dalam berdiskusi, baik bertanya maupun berbagi pengalaman. Selain itu, dapat terlitat dari antusiame anak-anak atau siswa siswi sekolah dasar dalam membaca buku yang disediakan melalui perpustakaan keliling.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to convey knowledge and abilities in managing business for the BUMDES manager of Pandeglang Regency. This activity is carried out in order to help solve problems for BUMDES managers in carrying out business management. Before the community service activities take place, discussions were held with the Pandeglang District Community Empowerment and Village Administration (DPMPD) Office in relation to the problems faced by the BUMDES managers which would later be contained in the form of training materials organized by DPMPD Pandeglang Regency in collaboration with the College of Economics (STIE) ) Banten. The form of this community service activity is training on various materials related to problems in BUMDES, namely (1) BUMDES Success Road Map, (2) Entrepreneurship, (3) Leadership, (4) Marketing, (5) Cooperation, and (6) Governance BUMDES finances attended by 50 BUMDES managers selected by DPMPD Pandeglang Regency. In the implementation of training materials, the practices of how to lead, market, make cooperation and practice financial bookkeeping are inserted. Furthermore, to further strengthen the material in the final session, questions and answers and discussions were opened. Suggestions from this activity are the need for further assistance in the field and control of the implementation of BUMDES management activities.

Abstract

Waste and its management are still a common problem. It is estimated that 175,000 tonnes of waste are generated in a day and most of this waste comes from households. Various efforts have been held to address the problem, including the movement to sort waste from home. Community based waste management programs also have been launched including My Bogor Regency Green and Clean which aimed to create environmentaly friendly village (KRL). However, in Sampora Village, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, waste is still a serious problem. KRL was not operated optimally. Garbages were still dumped into the rivers and the road. People are lack of understanding on how to manage and utilize waste, equipment and waste bank. Therefore, knowledge, training, and assistance in waste management are necessity. In line with the program of sorting waste from home, the activities involve empowering of housewives as people who do most of their activities at home. The method used for this activities were sharing knowledge on how to sort household waste, managing waste with 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) and maximizing a waste bank. Further, a composter was also prepared to compost organic waste. The results are housewives felt more knowledgeable and willing to sort waste from home.

Abstract

Pada bulan April 2020, hampir semua daerah di Indonesia memberlakukan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) karena pandemi COVID-19. Meski ada pembatasan mobilitas, bukan berarti semua orang bisa mengabaikan protokol kesehatan begitu saja. Masker menjadi benda yang wajib dikenakan oleh siapa pun saat beraktivitas di luar rumah. Meski produksi masker meningkat, tak sedikit warga Indonesia yang masih kesulitan memperolehnya. Berangkat dari permasalahan ini, maka kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu edukasi penggunaan masker kain yang efektif dan mendonasikan 3.000 masker kain untuk membantu penyediaan masker bagi sebagian warga kabupaten Malang dan kabupaten Serang yang kurang mampu. Pada tahap pertama, Dosen Fakultas Teknologi Universitas Serang Raya bekerjasama dengan alumni SMKN 3 Malang jurusan tata busana membuat 3.000 masker kain untuk membantu penyediaan masker kain bagi masyarakat. Inisiatif kegiatan pegabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat akan pentingnya penggunaan masker kain yang efektif dalam menekan penyebaran virus COVID-19.
