Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a video tutorial media design that will be used as a learning medium and test the feasibility of the resulting product. This research is a development research with development procedures according to Borg and Gall stages such as 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Product Testing, 7) Product Revision, 8) Trial Use, and 9) Product Revisions. The research subjects were students of Information Technology Education at Muhammadiyah Sukabumi of University. The object of this research is the development of instructional media for video tutorials on shooting techniques and camera movement. Data collection to determine the assessment of material experts, media experts and students of this tutorial video learning media using a Likert type questionnaire with a score range of 1 to 5. Based on the evaluation of material experts by 91%, media experts by 95% and students by 88% who included in the very feasible category, this video tutorial learning media is suitable for use as a learning medium in videography courses at the Information Technology Education, Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. Keywords: learning media, videography, video tutorialsDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpvti.v2.i2.202002

Abstract

AbstractPAMSIMAS in Hilir Ciasem Village has customers that include residents of Hilir Ciasem Village. In managing customer data, the calculation of bills and payment of water bills are now still done manually. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based information system with PHP programming language and MySQL database as data storage. The design method in this study uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model. A clean water service information system is produced that can store data, manage customer data, and make payments easily. Testing is done using the Blackbox and UAT methods given to 3 respondents. The test results showed that the application is running as expected with a 100% success rate for Blackbox testing and 82% for the average UAT testing value. It showed that this application can overcome existing problems related to clean water services in PAMSIMAS Hilir Ciasem Village, Subang district. Keywords: Information Systems, Services, Websites, PAMSIMADOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpvti.v2.i2.202005

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the need to design learning media that can make students can interact with learning media, can be used easily, and can be used at any time in biology learning. The purpose of this research is to create biology learning media in the form of interactive multimedia based on hypertext that is feasible for use in learning. The research method used in this research is Lee Owens development model which consists of 4 steps namely analysis, design, implemnetation and development, and evaluation. The resulting development product is interactive multimedia. Based on the description of the results and discussions, it can be concluded that hypertext-based interactive multimedia is categorized as very feasible with an average validity percentage of media experts of 83.3%, material experts of 88.19%, and students of 95.83%. These results show that hypertext-based interactive multimedia developed is very feasible to be used in biology learning, believed to facilitate the achievement of learning objectives, increase interest, motivation, mastery of concepts, and student learning outcomes. Keywords: Biology, Hypertext, Interactive MultimediaDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpvti.v2.i2.202004

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of online discussion on student learning outcomes on Impulse and Momentum material. The population in this study were all XI classes of SMA Negeri 15 Bandarlampung who were taking the even semester in the 2017/2018 school year. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with the research design of The Nonequivalent Control Group Design, in which one group of subjects is given a certain treatment (experiment), while another group is used as a control class group. The data from the results of this study are quantitative, consisting of the pretest and posttest scores carried out at the beginning and end of the learning process carried out. Based on the research results, there is an effect of providing online discussions on student learning outcomes on Impulse and Momentum material. This is indicated by the N-gain average value of learning outcomes in the experimental class of 0.67, while the average N-gain of learning outcomes in the control class is 0.43. The difference in the average learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class can be seen from the learning process in each class. In the experimental class, the teacher provides Impulse and Momentum material learning by using an online assignment system outside face-to-face hours at school. Discussions conducted by students before face-to-face learning will make students have a better picture of what material will be studied at the next meeting. This makes students more ready to receive learning material and can understand concepts faster. This is because students have discussed with their friends the problems related to the material during online discussions. On the other hand, not all students in the control class learn the material that the teacher will deliver at the next meeting, so students do not have sufficient initial knowledge. Students who are given online discussion assignments after learning also benefit, they will be reminded again about the material that has been taught in class so that the concepts that have been obtained are increasingly embedded in students. Keywords: Online Discussion, Learning Outcomes, Impulse and Momentum, WhatsAppDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpvti.v2.i2.202003

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop and know the feasibility of interactive learning media in computer subjects and basic networks in class X TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukabumi.. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development using Borg and Gall models until the field trial stage. Data collection method used in this study is questionnaire or questionnaire method, using data collection instrument in the form of validation sheet validation sheet of material expert, media expert, and user response questionnaire. The user is a class X student of TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukabumi with a total of 4 people in a small class trial and 15 people in a large class trial.  The product feasibility criteria developed in this study were determined with a minimum value of 3.3 out of a scale of 5 with a decent category. Media expert validation results get a score of 4.5 (very feasible), validation of material experts with a score of 4 (feasible), a small class trial assessment by 4 learners namely 4 (feasible) and a large class trial assessment by 15 learners is 4.3 (very feasible). That way, interactive learning media on Computer and Basic Network lessons are very feasible in the learning process. Keywords: interactive learning media, basic computers and networks, RDDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpvti.v2.i2.202001
