Abstract

This research describes the development of learning tools with Mind Mapping Problem Posing for students with cognitive style of field dependent and fied independent. Learning tools made in the form of syllabus, RPP, and LKM. There are two types of LKM developed, LKM for students who have an independent field cognitive style and who have a cognitive field dependent style. Of course, before the learning takes place required a cognitive style test first for students. The cognitive style test to determine the type of cognitive style that each student has. This research is a development research with the development model used is Thiagarajan development model known as Four-D Models (Model 4D). After analyzed, the learning tools can be applied in the learning in the classroom. Keywords: problem posing, mind mapping, cognitive style, learning tool, calculus

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model as seen from the teacher's ability to manage learning, student activities, learning outcomes and student response results. This research design uses One-Shot Case Study. The sample used in this study was class VII C, amounting to 28 students. The data analysis technique was carried out using the method of obesity, test methods, and student questionnaire responses. Data analysis techniques that describe the results of the teacher's ability to manage learning, student activity data, learning outcome data and student response results data. Based on the results of research on the implementation of the Teams Games Tournamnet (TGT) type of cooperative learning model on social arithmetic material, 1) the ability of the teacher to manage the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) gets an overall score of 4.1 with a very good category, 2) student activities with the application of learning models using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) obtained an overall score of 55, 5 with a fairly active category, 3) overall student learning outcomes reached 78.57% complete student grade scores, 4) the results of student responses using the TGT learning model overall reached positive with a value of 83.21% Keywords: teams games tournament, aritmetika sosial

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know there is significant effect of using number head together (NHT) model on the mathematic students learning outcomes. The kind of the research is eksperimental research with quantitative approach. The subjects of the research are students of class VII C at SMP Plus Bustanul Ulum Mlokorejo. With the data collecting method that used in the research are documentation, interview and test. The data analysis method that used is t test. The value of t tes is 4,11 with dk is 30 and alpha 0,05 and t tabel is 2,042 we know that t value > t table ( 4,11 > 2,042 ). So it is mean that Ha is approver and Ho is rejected, than we can say that there is significant effect of using number head together (NHT) model on the mathematic students learning outcomes  Keywoard: number head together, mathematic student learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of Problem Posing learning facilitated by Mind Mapping toward mathematical connection and mathematical communication abillity based on students’ cognitive style.  Totally, there were 106 students involved in the study which comprised of 42 students from VIIE class of SMPN 7 Jember as experimental group (PPMM class),  42 students from VIIF class of SMPN 7 Jember as the first control group (PP1 class) and 32 students from VIID class of SMPN 1 Arjasa as the second control group (PP2 class). Experimental group was taugh using problem posing approaches facilitated by mind mapping tehnique (PPMM class) and control group was taugh only using problem possing approaches (PP class). Before giving the treatment, students was given test to know the kind of cognitive style that they have. There are two kind of student’s cognitive style in this paper i.e. field-dependent and field-independent cognitive style. The instrumens of the study were a Group Embeded Figure Test (GEFT) and Mathematical Connection and Mathematical Communication abillity Test. The study found that student’s mathematical connection and mathematical communication abillity of PPMM class are better than PP class. Moreover, mathematical connection and mathematical communication abillity of field independent students is better than field dependent students. Keywords: problem possing, mind mapping, cognitive style, and mathematical connection and mathematical communication abillity

Abstract

Learning is the main activity of the education process. The researcher observed in class VIII MTs. SA Nurul Qona'ah Mumbulsari and obtained data about 46.2% shows the value of students ? 70. This study aims to determine the Improvement of Learning Outcomes and Activities of Students in studying the function graph material by applying the Problem Based Intruction (PBI) learning model, the type of research that used is class action research (CAR). The procedure used is a cycle model. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle was 83.20% and the second cycle was 88%. While the daily test results of students in the first cycle obtained an average value of 73.1% while in the second cycle it was 85.03%. This proves that learning outcomes and student activities can increase with the implementation of the Problem Based Intrusion (PBI) learning model with geogebra applications. For certain subjects, this model is used to avoid saturation in learning activities. Keywords: problem based instruction, geogebra, learning outcomes, student activity
