A working woman must be trying to have a beautiful appearance in daily activity. Administration officers atUniversitas PGRI Banyuwangi are serve students. These officers appearance has important rule in administration servicing.The appearance connected to service quality that effect the working performance. This training activity is followed by 12women who work in administration department. Make up training is conducted due to give knowledge and basic skill toworking woman which can improve their daily performance. This activity is done with lecture, discussion, and practicemethods. The result of the training shows that the participants are very enthusiastic. The make up knowledge and skill can beused to working and social activity

The application of appropriate technology in the form of electric stirrer and storefront of donut product storagehas been implemented appropriately and targeted to the business partner of Roti Sari and Dian Jaya Bakery Businesslocated in Kupang city. Until now the process of stirring, pengulenan or pengenyalan on household industry partners arestill done manually with simple equipment. In order to increase the added value and selling value of donut cake products,baking cookies, Bolu cake, it is necessary to synergy between universities with partners in the form of application ofappropriate technology for the development of science and technology. The method of this program is the provision ofmaterials, design and manufacture of tools, demonstration tools and equipment by the team, simulation tools, specialcounseling at the location of partners and suggestions as a follow-up in the endurance of production and assistanceactivities. This community service offering provides added value of production in terms of time and speed in massproduction, hygiene and clean. Increase the product value in quality or quality and quantity quantity is estimated from 3kg - 5 kg of raw material to 10 kg - 15 kg per cycle of production. Product demand increased after this activity. productionper day from 10 kg to 20 kg of wheat raw material after baking dough, processed, fried, sliced, and packed into 400 - 600donuts and fried bread Rp. 800 - 2,000.00 per seed. Interview results in partners explain this product in a day generaterevenue Rp. 600,000.00. Electrical stirrer and storefront of donut product storage help to overcome problems to partners

Community service activities of science and technology program for Plastic Waste Processing Society isimplemented as a form of concern for environmental sustainability. Given the plastic waste is waste that takes time todecompose 50-100 years. On the other hand the potential of plastic waste in Pedurungan Sub-district of Semarang is verylarge. If plastic waste can be processed and managed optimally it will greatly reduce the amount of plastic waste in thearea, besides also can increase people's income. This activity was held in Muktiharjo Kidul Village, PedurunganSubdistrict, Semarang. Participants of 30 people who are members of KSM Mandiri Santoso Jaya and KSM Tri AsihJaya. Implementation in the form of (1) Socialization of Ibm's program of activity; (2) Manufacture of plastic garbagedisposal machines; (3) Training of the use of plastic counter machine; and (4) Assistance for consultation. The methodsused from socialization to mentoring are lectures, frequently asked questions, and practices. IbM activities are getting agood response marked by the antuasiasme of the participants in following every stage of the activity. The result of thisdedication activity is the reduction of plastic waste amount by recycle effort, increasing the family income throughincreasing the economic value of plastic waste, increasing the quality of activity in the garbage bank

The livelihoods the people of Sekarmojo village are mostly farmers and farm laborers. The average level ofeducation is primary school. This becomes an obstacle in technology adoption.  The village location is linked to a stonypath and not yet all paved. This condition causes the community of Sekarmojo Village not yet maximally in adoptinginformation especially information technology. Issues that exist within the partner community group, among others : (1)the lack of knowledge and technology in improving local resource-based welfare, (2) extensive yard has not been usedsustainably, (3) livestock and fishery activities have not been managed with sustainable technology, (4) housewife'sactivities yet leads to productive activities, (5) the supply of food (fish, meat and vegetables) that fresh can not be obtainedat any time. The purpose of this activity are: (1) Providing science and technology to the community in managing yardthat produces vegetables, meat and organic fish, (2) realizing sustainable food home area in Sekarmojo PurwosariPasuruan village, (3) increasing of human resource quality in production activity agriculture, (4) creating new businessopportunities within the community, (5) opening and expanding networks of cooperation with private and governmentagencies. The benefits of this activity are (1) the fulfillment of family food needs (2) the community has productiveactivities, (3) the formation of new business. Methods of implementation include community counseling, training, directdemonstration / practice, mentoring and evaluation to see the effectiveness of the program so that the program will besocialized efficiently. The results have been achieved, among others: (1) Partners have been able to create naturalnutrients that are useful for planting vegetables, fish farming and chicken farming. (2) Partners have an understandingand an increasing insight in the management of the yard. (3) Partners have new businesses that can supplementhousehold income, namely vegetable seeding business and organic vegetable sales. (4) Partners have started to make thedesign / business plan of breeding business

The increasing waste due to increasing population and consumption in rural area led municipal wastemanagement in rural area essential. However, most of rural area did not have well developed municipal wastemanagement for some reasons. This community service intended to provide a contribution to society to manage municipalwaste in rural area. Action research is implemented in this community service. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) wasapplied to identify what are the main problems and decided what actions will be conducted during community service.From the first FGD, we concluded that the activities should be prepared were providing information related to negativeimpact of disposing municipal waste illegally, understanding on the type of municipal waste and how to separate them aswell as training to manage municipal waste in simple way through Takakura method. Those activities, then, conductedthrough a workshop on municipal waste management in household level

Perumahan Villa Kertosari Kelurahan Kertosari is a new housing that was established to become a residentialarea for the community. Surely like other new housing is a problem is a public facility such as place and playground forchildren, because the housing is already inhabited by several family members. Playing infrastructure for children is veryimportant to improve the motoric (movement) of children at an early age so that the sons and daughters of familymembers housing residents do not play in the alleys of residential roads. With the help of Iptek bagi Masyarakat (IbM)program that is counseling about the development of motoric (motion) of children for the parents through workshops andprocurement of children's game equipment then the problem of motor development (movement) and activities of childrenin housing can be resolved. From the start of the playground which was originally on a residential street alley and theabsence of a play area for children in Villa Kertosari housing. Outcome targets achieved generate an understanding ofmotor development for parents and children's play areas. Given the understanding of children's motor development andchildren's play tools, parents can focus on monitoring children in one place ie in the children's play area. Until nowbeside the children housing the Villa Kertosari who play there are also children outside the scope of housing that comeinto play in the area

Seaweed is one of the main commodities fisheries revitalization program that is expected to play an importantrole in improving the welfare of society. This service activities aimed at delivering a new innovation in the development ofseaweed processing activities . In achieving that goal then do some activities such as outreach to mothers and younghouseholds by introducing the equipment used , materials and demonstrations of new recipes from some modificationstoeaweed products in general, people in this area is still lacking utilizing processed seaweed products as food is ready toeat. Methods of approach are offered to support science and technology programs for the community is a participatorymethod in which partners are directly involved in the implementation of activities from preparation throughimplementation of these activities .The shape of the activityis met through discussion ( question and answer , lecture ),Deliberation , Focus Group Discussion ( FGD ) , workshops , demonstrations , publications and reinforcement. Types ofoutputs produced is in the form of modern products with specifications like lunkhead seaweed , cheese and crackers paperfish nuggets in the mix with seaweed can be a domestic industry products ( home industry ).  The results achieved in thisactivity is the formation of partners of seaweed processing group, namely sea and sunshine each consisting of 10 peopleeach group, the creation of employment where the mother-thousand households that used to be just as seaweed tieworkers become more creative and productive, Introducing processed products of modern seaweed creations fromcommunity service team that is cheese paper crackers and dodol seaweed

This activity aims to growth awareness and public concern over the use of household waste. One effective way is tomake the process of recycling of waste in order to be a new product that has economic value. Sayang village, Jatinangor inSumedang district became one of priority area for the organization of this event. Its geographical location which is relativelyclose to the area of education is one reason for choosing this village. The activities in the form of Program Pengabdian kepadaMasyarakat Dosen (PPMD) is carried out by means of lectures, demonstrations and practices / trainings. The high productionof household waste and negative behaviour regarding garbage is actually an issue that is closely related to cultural behaviour.Therefore, the solution is actually should be also related with the issue of people?s mindset about the garbage. Recycling wastebins in order to produce a product that has economic value to be an alternative way to change people's mindsets about thegarbage that have tended to be negative. This activity is considered successful because of the participation of the public,especially mothers of households is quite high and active in a series of events

BUMG merupakan institusi yang dikelola sepenuhnya oleh masyarakat desa, dan diharapkan menjadi kekuatan ekonomi utama masyarakat melalui penggalian potensi sumber daya yang dimiliki desa yang bersangkutan.Namun demikian, hasil analisis situasional menunjukkan bahwa kinerja BUMG masih dinilai rendah yang disebabkan lemahnya kompetensi strategik yang dimiliki pihak pengelola BUMG yang bersangkutan. Pengabdian masyarakat inibertujuan melakukan upgrading kompetensi strategik BUMG agar dapat mengoptimalkan peran serta keberadaannyadalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang berada dalam wilayahnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kegiatanpelatihan dengan model focus group discussion. Beberapa rekomendasi yang diperoleh bahwa BUMG difasilitasi olehpihak Kecamatan Langsa Lama dapat: (1) melaksanakan sejumlah program upgrading kompetensi strategik baik secaraindividu ataupun bersama dengan BUMG yang lain; (2) mengintensifkan program-program peningkatan kemampuanmanajerial melalui sinergi dengan praktisi, konsultan ataupun perguruan tinggi; (3) mengintensifkan upaya penyamaanpemahaman antara perangkat desa dan pengurus BUMG terkait visi-misi pengembangan BUMG; serta, (4) membentukForum Komunikasi BUMG sebagai wadah diskusi antara para pengurus BUMG, pendamping desa dan pihakkecamatan
