Abstract

The utilization of coconut fiber that has not been optimal is one of the opportunities so that the waste has added value, one of which is to process it into particle board.  Objective research is to best composition particle board making from coconut coir waste material and TKKS to produce qualified particle board. The method used was a complete randomized design (RAL) with 3 treatment, single factor treatment ie the composition of raw materials in the form of coconut husk and TKKS. Comparison of the particle-making composition of particle board P0: 100% coco fiber: 0% of oil palm empty bunch fibers, P1: 75% : 25%, P2: 50% : 50%, P3: 25% : 75%, P4: 0% : 100%. Best results the combination of raw material composition of particle board is in the treatment of P0 (100% coco fiber: 0% of oil palm empty bunch fiber) with a density value of 0.43 g / cm³, moisture content 7.0%, Modulus of Elasticity - MoE 2.037.45 kg / cm2 and the Modulus of Rupture - MoR 46.14 kg / cm².

Abstract

The food crop subsectors is one of the centers of attention in national development. Various efforts have been made to increase rice production, both through extensification of paddy fields and intensification of planting. South Sulawesi is one of the largest rice production centers in Indonesia in 2018 and deserves special attention in this regard. To be able to find out the right programs and efforts to increase rice production, information is needed regarding the potential and land use in the province of South Sulawesi. The study was conducted with mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative using data from the rice harvest area of South Sulawesi Province in 2018) which was simply analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the results of data processing from the Central Bureau of Statistics, followed by in-depth interviews with six people to capture phenomenon that occurs in South Sulawesi. The efficiency of harvested area in South Sulawesi is currently 176.50 that caused by there is still land that is only harvested once a year or three times in two years so efforts need to be made to increase the efficiency of harvesting area through intensification of cropping.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the revenue,the total cost,income and break even point  of make Rubber  Smoke Sheet farming . This research was conducted in  Oktober 2018 at village Simpang Tiga, Mataraman, Banjar regency province South Kalimantan . The Purposive sampling metode used was by observing 23 farmers in Simpang tiga mataraman who.make rubber smoke sheet. The Average result of the revenue is Rp. 5.328.260,87/ farmer, the average total cost is Rp. 2.361.588,27/farmer, and total profit is Rp 2.966.672,60/farmer.. BEP  Rp. 1.288.984,64dan BEP product Rubber  Smoke Sheet 51,56kg/farming. Based on the break even point,we can know the limit result which can give benefit or disvantage. From  this result of development of farming make Rubber  Smoke Sheet we believe that it has good prospect and revenue, of the break even point ,tecnicall and economically..

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the type of swamp forage and its combination in granule complete feed products for their nutrient content and digestibility. This study have been done on Juli until September, 2018 in Field Laboratory at Bentok Kampung-Tanah Laut District. Randomized Block Design was used in this research with 3 treatments and 4 replications.  Twenty goats aged 1.5-2 years with a weight ranging from 15-19 kg were used in this study. Data were analyzed by Analysis of varian and if there is significant difference then the Duncan Multi Range Test (DMRT)  is continued. The results of the study show that  swamp forage kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris), and purun tikus (Heleocharis dulcis Burm) significantly different to the crude protein content, crude fiber, crude fat, ADF and NDF fiber fraction. The complete granule feed on the basis of a combination of forage swamps and legumes affects the digestibility of organic matter and crude protein. The low content of tannin in swamp forages has not been able to optimally protect crude protein in complete granule feed.

Abstract

        This Research aim to know technically about effort management broiler Broiler Chicken-Poultry in Plasma PT. Ciomas Adisatwa to Breeder Revenue in Sarang Halang village Sub-district Pelaihari Tanah Laut Regency South Kalimantan Province and to know  about cost, acceptance, and revenue Chicken-Poultry in Plasma PT. Ciomas Adisatwa.  Pursuant to result of research to effort livestock chicken broiler, Totalize product of broiler chicken is 10.200 with mean old age conservancy 31-33 day and able total of wight body 18.856 at the price of selling from Rp. 17.870/kg - Rp. 18.220/kg.  Acceptance obtained Plasma of Poultry of Broiler PT. Ciomas Adisatwa equal to Rp. 338.422.335 with Total Variable Rp. 318.380.000. Earnings effort Plasma of Poultry of Broiler PT. Ciomas Adisatwa in Sarang Halang village Sub-district Pelaihari Tanah Laut Regency South Kalimantan Province equal to Rp. 20.042.335.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different composition of plant apu (Pistia stratiotes) for growing maggot (Hermetia illucens) as feed fish. Research conducted from April to June 2018, with experimental research methods using Complete Randomized Design. The results showed that treatment A with an average growth weight of maggot = 89.6 grams and 645 populations was higher than treatment B and C. Treatment A composition of 5 kg of dried apu, 5 kg of bran, 1,5 liters of wine, 1 liter of honey and 5 eggs. The results of ANOVA diversity analysis and BNT test for maggot growth population showed that the three treatments were significantly different. The novelty of this study is the use of P. stratiotes aquatic plants as a place to grow maggots and the fermentation process with wine.

Abstract

This study aims to know technically corn farming, know economically about the costs, revenues and profits of corn farming in Bangkal VillageThe number of farmers who tried corn farming for F1 Bisi-2 superior varieties was 60 people, then Simple Random Sampling was 35% (21 people) of the entire population.Corn farming activities in Bangkal Village with an cultivated land area of an average of 0.81 hectares / farmer. The total cost incurred for corn farming in one production process is 5,028,858.48 / farmer or Rp. 6,208,467.25 / ha. The production obtained is 54,827.05 kg / farmer or an average of 5,959.32 kg / ha (5.96 tons / ha), with prices prevailing at that time, namely Rp.4,000 / kg. Average revenue of Rp. 19.308,190.48 / farmer / planting season or an average of Rp. 23,837,272.19 / ha. Average profit of Rp. 14,279,332.00 / farmer or an average of Rp. 17,628,804.94 / ha

Abstract

The Purpose of this Study was to Determine the Extent to which the Process of Processing Soybeans into Processed Products,Namely Tofu that can Provide a level of Profit and added Value for Businesses in the Study Area. Data Collection was Done by Purposive Sampling method (Deliberately). The Results showed that the Tofu Processing Process was Carried out Using Simple Technology,Namely Using the Main Raw Material of Soybeans. Mashed with added Vinegar and Salt Acid with a Simple Tool.As for the Amount of Soybean Raw Material once the Production is an Average of 133,33 kg Per day With 226,61kg of Tofu. Workforce 6,90 HOK with Labor out of 0,052 HOK Per kg of Soybeans to Know in Return for Rp 5.460 Added Value of Rp 7.164,02 per kg with a Ratio of Added Value Obtained 42,89 % of the output Value means that Every Rp 100 output Values Will Get an Added Value of 42,89 Which is Include in the Category of High Added Value. Profits are Obtained in the Amount of Rp1 .704,02 with a Ratio of 23,79 % to Added Value. Keywords : Soybean,Tofu, Added Value

Abstract

Acceleration of innovation adoption can be done if the communication network patterns in farmer groups are known. The research was conducted at The Citrus Production Center in Sambas District, West Kalimantan. Farmer group samples were taken 15 groups randomly while farmer sampling was done with the Representative Sample of Intact System. The structure and role of farmers in communication networks were analyzed by communication network analysis from Rogers and Kincaid and relationship analysis with Rank Spearman method. The results showed the structure of communication, in terms of the level of connectedness of farmers in the group was low while the openness of farmer groups was high. The higher the involvement and openness of farmers in the communication network, the better behavior of farmers in marketing. In addition, the pattern of communication networks that are formed is the pattern of wheels, namely the role of leaders in groups (star) plays an important role in the distribution of information in farmer groups. The other results were efforts to overcome the marketing problems that occur in farmers, namely by delaying the harvest and delay selling.

Abstract

Hulu Sungai Tengah District has Wetlands in the Form of a Swamp of Shallow Valleys,Mid Valley and the Valleys in Total Area of 16-20 Thousand Hectares. The Potential Swamp Area in the Study Area Reached 21.318 Hectares With Details of the Shallow  Swamp Typology of 4.227 Hectares , a Rare Fall of 15.934 Hectares and 1.157 Ha of Rain Fed. The implementation of This Study Includes Reference Studies, Field Activities,Laboratory Analysis and Data Processing,Map Making and Report Preparation. The Most Extensive Potential of Land in The Northern Sub District of 10.875 Ha With the Middle Rare Typology.Based on the Typology of the Study Area,it Consists of Potential Land Area of 14.685 Ha and Peatland Area of 6.633 Ha.The Results of The Overall Evaluation of Land From 21.318 Ha Were Planted For Plantations of 12.557 Ha and 4.461 Ha For Conservation and 4.300 Ha of Enclaves.Land Suitability Distribution From 12.557 Ha if Reduced Area of 5.005 Ha Wide Area Effective 7.550 Ha.The Public”s Views on Plantations Are Still Diverse,Some of Which View Positively 15.55 %,Negative 21.6 % and Neutral 63.34 %. A Positive View Means the Respondent agrees to the Existence of a Plantation Because it is Considered to Provide Hope of Getting Employment Opportunities or Income that Can Provide a Better Guaranteee Than The Present Situation.
