Abstract

This research conducted to know ; level of labour efficiency of chili farm effort. Method used survey with observation technique, where farmer follow the example of taken at sensus modestly as 10 farmer. Result of research obtained by storey;level of productivity equal to 10.267,48 kg/ha. Distribution of external labour  family (TKLK) 74,04% and family labour (TKDK) 62,70% from totalizeing the labour effusing. Mount efficiency of labour from facet of labour productivity obtained value 9,73 kg/HKO, from facet labour Productivity Indek obtained Rp 687.755,68/HKO.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi komposisi botanis dan kandungan nutrisi dan anti nutisi hijauan rawa purun tikus yang dimodifikasi sebagai pakan kambing lokal berbentuk granul. Analisis nutrisi yang diukur melalui analisis proksimat dan kandungan tannin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa hijauan rawa purun tikus merupakan tanaman hijauan rawa dengan lokasi yang lokasi vegetasinya berada dekat dengan air. Hijauan rawa tanaman purun tikus  terdiri atas daun dan batang menyatu denan proporsi 88% dan akar  12%. Adapun kandungan nutrisi purun tikus adalah  kadar air 11,93%, lemak kasar 1,01%, protein kasar 8,67 dan serat kasar 24,48%. Dilihat dari komposisi botani  purun tikus,sangat potensial digunakan sebagai pakan ternak kambing. Adapun tempat tumbuh hijauan purun tikus adalah dekat dengan air/sungai

Abstract

The study aims:1. To determine the cost of farming system rice 2. To determine income of farming system rice 3. To determine whether the farm is worth it or not.  This result was conducted in the experimintal Land Own  for 4 months from May until the month of August 2016. Analysis of data used in this study :1). Analysis BEP Volume Production 2.)Analysis BEP Production Price 3.)Analysis B/C ratio 4.) Analysis of ROI. Production volume analysis result show 1904,2 kg, the analysis results BEP price production show Rp. 3.115,51;the analysis results B/C ratio 1,60 show that the farm should be develoved rice, whereas the analysis results show 60,48 % ROI. The results of analysis of total cost production Rp.11.901.250, while the results of the analysis of the total revenue Rp.19.100.000;the results of cost analysis show profit each harvest of Rp.7.198.750

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms usually can growth at any planting medium, are naturally like wood of tree or another medium, such as sawdust, straw, groundsel, waste of sugar cane. That sawdust or straw still need to added with other material, like ricebran, limestones, gypsum, etc. The composition of medium have various formulation. Everyone who cultivate of oyster have special composition for their medium that made from their personal research, e.g the secret of base material, suplement material, and the precisely of mixing. This research has the purpose of (i) knowing of growth and yield of oyster mushroom at various of composition of growing media, and (ii) obtain the best composition of growing media. The research was conducted in the Village of Banjang, Districts of Banjang , HSU and started from March 2012 to June 2012, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) one factor. Factors tested were composition of planting media (sawdust : rice bran : limestone : gypsum), ie k1 = 90% : 7,5% : 2% : 0,5%, k2 = 80% : 15% : 4% : 1%, k3 = 70% : 22,5% : 6% : 1,5%, k4 = 60% : 30% : 8% : 2% dan k5 = 50% : 37,5% : 10% : 2,5%. The results showed that the composition of planting media determine of growth and yield of oyster mushroom and the composition of planting media that showing of the best of growth and yield is k3.

Abstract

           The availability of quality forage is limited so that the necessary efforts to provide forage quality and its availability guaranteed. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different Bokashi fertilizer on protein and crude fiber content of grass (Pennisetum purpureum). This research method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications consisting of: P0: Control (without Bokashi). P1: Giving ground bokasi 5 kg + 15 kg (ratio 1: 3). P2: Giving ground bokasi 10 kg + 10 kg (ratio 1: 1). P3: Giving bokasi 15 kg + 5 kg soil (3: 1) . observed. production of dry metter ingredients, protein and crude fiber from grass harvested at 60 days. The results showed that administration of different Bokashi can give effect to increase the protein content and decreased crude fiber. Concluded Bokhasi grass can improve the productivity of  grass.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the type of swamp forage and its combination in granule complete feed products for their nutrient content and digestibility. This study have been done on Juli until September, 2018 in Field Laboratory at Bentok Kampung-Tanah Laut District. Randomized Block Design was used in this research with 3 treatments and 4 replications.  Twenty goats aged 1.5-2 years with a weight ranging from 15-19 kg were used in this study. Data were analyzed by Analysis of varian and if there is significant difference then the Duncan Multi Range Test (DMRT)  is continued. The results of the study show that  swamp forage kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris), and purun tikus (Heleocharis dulcis Burm) significantly different to the crude protein content, crude fiber, crude fat, ADF and NDF fiber fraction. The complete granule feed on the basis of a combination of forage swamps and legumes affects the digestibility of organic matter and crude protein. The low content of tannin in swamp forages has not been able to optimally protect crude protein in complete granule feed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study identify the parameters of the land degradation, in order to know the level of damage that occurs as a decision-making approach to the problem so that appropriate land productivity does not decreased, even increased as the cultivated area has a function for biomass production.  The first step was to determine the potential indicative soil damage by overlaying the GIS-based digital maps, such as the map of soil type, slope, rainfall and land cover maps and then with RTRW/K.  The result obtained that there are 4 classes of indicative damage land, they are very low, low, medium and high.  The next focus was on the location of the high level damage potential, particularly in the village of Tanah Kuning, sub district of East Tanjung Palas.  Result from field verification showed that effective soil depth (solum soil) > 150 cm, slope 15-25% and 6 soil samples taken for laboratory analyzes.  The results of the evaluation of 10 land damage parameters showed that there are 2 parameters exceed a critical threshold, namely the composition of the fractions and pH (acidity) of the soil.  The parameter exceeds a critical threshold pH found on all samples (6 samples), while the composition of the fraction was only one sample.  Based on the relative frequency score status of soil damage is minor damage with the limiting factors are composition of sand fraction and the pH of acid soils.  Remedial action against excessive sand composition was difficult because of permanent nature, while improving the soil pH (very acid) can be reduced with the application of agricultural lime and organic compost.

Abstract

The experiment aimed to identify the growing of palm oil seedling (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) upon the aplication of Dolomite and Phosporus fertilizer, as well as its interaction, and to find the proper dosage of dolomite and Phosporus fertilizer for palm oil seedling. The experiment lasted for four months, from Oktober 2010 to Januari 2011, at the screen house agriculture faculty Widya Gama Mahakam university,  Sempaja Samarinda City. The experiment employed Completely Randomized Block Design with Factorial 3 x 4 and three replications. The first factor was Phospor fertilizer (P) : 1,5 g SP-36/polybag (p1); 2,0 g SP-36/polybag (p2); 2,5 g SP-36/polybag (p3). And the second factor was dolomite (D): no dolomite (d0);10 g dolomite/polybag (d1); 15 10 g dolomite/polybag (d2); 20 g dolomite/polybag (d3).Results at the experiment showed that: (1) significant responses of phosphorus  fertilizer on the parameters of number of leaf at the stage of 90 old days and diameter of stem at the stage of 60 old days; (2) significant responses on the application of Dolomit on diameter of stem at the stage of 30 and 60 old days; (3) significant responses the interaction between phosporus  fertilizer and Dolomit application on number of leaf at the stage of 60 old days.

Abstract

This research is aimed to study growth and yield of Bambara groundnut Lembang variety which is cultivated in South Kalimantan. A descriptive exploratory research was conducted in field of National Agricultural Training Center Binuang Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan Province on July to November 2017. Observations were made on plant growth component i.e. germination time, number of main branch, flowering age, flower number per branch, harvesting age, pest and disease. Observations were made on yield component i.e. number of pods per plant, wet pods weight per plant,  wet pods weight per plot, 100 seed weight, proportion of wet pods weight, dry pods weight and dry seed weight. The results showed that Bambara groundnut Lembang variety flowering at the age of 43 to 65 days and harvesting at the age of about 115 to 120 days. Average number of pods are 40 pieces with an average weight are 90,76 grams of pods per plant. Bambara groundnut Lembang variety have potential yield of 11,524 tons per hectare of wet pod or 2,881 tons per hectare of dry beans. Thus, Bambara groundnut Lembang variety have the potential to be developed in South Kalimantan.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were: (1) to determine growth and yield response of two tomato varieties upon the application of POC super ACI, and (2) to obtain suitable concentrations of POC super ACI for tomato crop.This research was polybag trials using completely randomized design (CRD) with factorial analysis and 5 replications.  The first factor was the variety, consists of two levels: Ranti and Ratna.  The second factor was the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer, consists of 4 levels, namely 0.00; 0.75; 1.50; and 2.25 ml/l.  Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and if there was a significant difference, then the test used Least Significant Difference (LSD) at 5%.The results revealed that: (1) Treatment of varieties affected significantly on the plant height increment at age of 15, 30, 45, and 60 days after planting and harvesting; days to flowering; number of fruit per crop and fruit fresh weight. Ratna variety produce fruit weight of 239.63 g/polybag while Ranti was 79.08 g/polybag;  (2) The concentration of POC Super ACI affected significanlty on the plant height increment at age of 15, 30, 45, and 60 days after planting and harvesting; number of fruit per crop and fruit fresh weight.  The best fertilizer concentration was 1.50 ml/l water that can produce fruit fresh weight of 194.68 g; and (3) The interaction between varieties and fertilizer concentrations did not affect significantly on all variables observed.
