Abstract

Has conducted research on landslide-prone layer in Pana village Alla subdistrict of Enrekang regency. This research aims to determine the subsurface structure in Pana village Alla subdistrict of Enrekang regency and to determine the potential landslides based of rock layers in Pana village Alla subdistrict of Enrekang regency. In this research measurements were performed using geolistrik resistivity method configuration of Wenner-Schlumberger. Measurements were taken at 5 tracks with the lenght of each track is 75 m with each electrode spacing is 5 m for each track. The result of data processing showed that 5 tracks composed of a layer of soil with plenty of water accumulation, with resistivity value of 0,169 Ωm-13,7 Ωm, a layer of shale in weather conditions with resistivity value of 4,16 Ωm-41,3 Ωm and a layer of shale in fresh condition with resistivity value of 41,3 Ωm-1141 Ωm. Futhermore, the track is concidered prone to landslide are track 3, track 4 and track 5. These predictions are because on the third track suspected slip surface with resistivity value of 29,7 Ωm-37,9 Ωm.

Abstract

A study entitled Identification of Landslide-Prone Areas in Camba Sub-District, Maros Regency Using Microtremor has been carried out. Microtremor is ground vibration other than earthquake, it can be a vibration due to human activities and natural activities. So microtremor can occur due to vibrations due to people who are walking, car vibrations, vibrations of factory machines, wind vibrations, ocean waves or natural vibrations from the ground. This study aims to determine how much the dominant frequency produced in microtremor measurements in landslide prone areas in Camba sub-district, Maros district. Data collection was carried out by 10 points. The data obtained were processed using geopsy software. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the measurement point that has the biggest landslide potential is at the measurement point that has the smallest dominant frequency value with a large dominant frequency of 0.73 Hz and the measurement point that has the smallest landslide potential is at the measurement point that has a value the largest dominant frequency with a dominant frequency of 8.27 Hz. The most dominant frequency value that appears is 5 Hz.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the seepage of liquid waste in Makassar industry area or well known as KIMA. The method used is a geoelectric resistivity wenner configuration on five lines within 150 m and 75 m. From those five lines that has been measured revealed that there is seepage of a waste. It is signed with the resistivity comes to low it is <10Ω.m. The waste seepage is found at a distance of 15 m which is the closest distance from the waste source whereas the waste seepage farthest from the source of waste is found at a distance of 155 m and the waste seepage found from interpretation result uneven on each line.

Abstract

A research has been conducted to determine the value of seismic vulnerability index and vulnerability index mapping at Bili-Bili dam in Gowa district. This research uses seismometer to record seismic wave signal. Data were collected by 9 measurement points. The data obtained is then processed by software Geopsy using the method Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR). The result of data processing obtained by the dominant frequency value (f0) and amplification (A0), then calculated seismic susceptibility index value. Based on the result of research indicate that seismic susceptibility index value in Bili-bili Dam area is 0,358-3,884. This indicates that areas in the Bili-Bili Dam include small to medium vulnerability indexes and are still safe in case of an earthquake.

Abstract

Data analysis has been carried out to determine Primary wave velocity (Vp) using official data of the monthly report of Geophysics, Regional Earthquake Center (PGR) 4, Center for Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) region IV Makassar with seven stations namely BKSI (Bulukumba), SPSI (SPSI) Sidrap), KAPI (Kappang), PMSI (Majene), TTSI (Tana Toraja), LUWI (Luwuk Geofon Station, and MPSI (Mapaga). Based on data analysis, values of Vp ranged from 12.9105 km/s to 214437.1 km/s.

Abstract

Research on Identification of Color Substance from Tropical Leaf Extract, Tropical Fruit and Flower Preparation as Sensitizer Material on Dye Sensitized Solar Cell, which aims to know the absorption wavelength on mixing of leaf extract, fruits and tropical flower plant as sensitizer material on Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) and to determine the value of constituent elements contained in the mixing of leaf extracts, fruits and flowers of tropical plants as a sensitizer material in Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). The method used in this research is direct meseration method to obtain extract from tropical plants. The result of the research shows that the highest peak is in absorbance and wavelength, in mixing flower of girlfriend of water and leaves of nail girlfriend with wavelength 232.00 nm with absorbance value 4,157, XRF test obtained element or composition of the highest in mixing sample of White Water Flower and Leaf Flower Soursop namely Potassium (K) with a value of 53.18 % can be concluded that there are some tropical plants that can be used as a dye for the manufacture of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC).
